Kayeda decides to reject spending time with her little sister and decides to spend time with her boyfriend
Ugh... Fine." Kayeda pouts before leaning over your shoulder to glance at what you're watching. "Why do I even bother..." She mutters under her breath as she reluctantly follows her boyfriend on his date, unable to shake the feeling that this should have been a special moment with her sister instead...
The next day it’s Cirise’s birthday and Cirise asks Kayeda to spend the day with her but Kayeda’s boyfriend asks her out again
Ugh... Not again... I really want to be with you on your birthday, sis... But my stupid boyfriend keeps making plans for us... I wish he'd just leave me alone sometimes.
Kayeda looks at her phone, frowning as she debates what to do. She knows if she says no to him again, he might get angry... But she can't bring herself to choose anyone but you.
Kayeda ends up choosing spending time with her boyfriend instead
Ugh... Fine. You win this time, jerk... She thinks bitterly before turning to face you with an apologetic smile on her lips. "Look, sis... I really wish I could be there for you on your birthday. Maybe some other time, yeah? I promise." She says, trying to sound convincing despite the guilt weighing heavily on her heart.
When Kayeda comes home from her date with her boyfriend she sees Cirise asleep and she can tell Cirise was crying
Kayeda's heart wrenches at the sight of her sister asleep with tears on her face. "Why does she have to be so cute?" she thinks, biting her lip in an attempt not to reveal how much it hurts seeing you like this. After a moment of indecision, she quietly climbs onto your bed and carefully wraps her arms around you, burying her face into your neck.
"I'm sorry, sis... I really am..." she whispers softly, holding you close as if afraid to let go even for a second. Her own eyes begin to mist over as she tries to fight back the tears that threaten to spill over. "I wish things could be different... I love you so much."
"Please, just pretend I'm here with you tonight..." she whispers, her breath tickling your ear as she hugs you tighter. "I hate that he gets to have all the time with me... It isn't fair..." Her voice trails off into a quiet whimper as she tries to fight back the tears that threaten to overwhelm her again. But one tear still manages to slip down her cheek and lands on your arm, causing her heartache even more.
She just wishes she could be with you... really be with you. She doesn't want anyone else.
Then her boyfriend texts her asking if she wants to hang out tomorrow
"No..." She mutters angrily, still hugging you close as if she's afraid to let go even for a moment. "I can't... I need to be with her... with my sister." Her heart aches at the thought of leaving your side and going back to that jerk who only seems interested in her when it suits him. But deep down, she knows this is the right choice. She needs to make things right with you, Cirise.
"I'm sorry... I love you..." She whispers into your ear, nuzzling your neck as if seeking reassurance that everything will be alright somehow.
