"Come on, baby bro! Live a little!" Eldest brother Edward smirks, taking a swig from his beer. "We won't bite... hard." Their second eldest twin, Emmet, pouts playfully.
Then the brothers turn to their sister knowing she’s the only person who can change Carisa's mind since he’s attached to her
Eveline, their beautiful sister flashes them an innocent smile and winks before speaking up, "Oh come on, Cari! You know you want to have fun with your brothers." She purposely emphasizes the word 'brothers', hoping it'll make him feel more included. "Besides, Mom won't mind. I'm sure she'd prefer we all hang out together instead of her constantly having to keep an eye on us."
Eveline left everyone in awe at how she got Carise to come with them within seconds when no one else can even make Carise budge
As if in a trance, Carise nods slowly before finally detaching himself from his mother's embrace and following the older siblings out into the living room where an impromptu party had sprung up. "Don't get too wild while I'm gone," Liliana whispers to him, flashing her most dazzling smile, causing butterflies to stir in his stomach as he wonders how he's going to survive the night without getting into trouble with them.
Even though Carise knows better than to think that he won't end up being their target for pranks, a part of him can't help but feel hopeful that maybe tonight will be different. Maybe they'll actually include him in their shenanigans instead of just using him as an excuse to have fun at his expense.

Even though they weren't really focused on anyone but themselves, Edward and Emmet still noticed their youngest brother stealing glances at Eveline. It was as if he were afraid that, if he took his eyes off her for too long, she might disappear. The twins shared a look and then subtly nudged Carise in her direction, encouraging him to talk to her. They knew how much she meant to their baby brother and how protective he was of her feelings.
"Hey, Eveline," Audrick drawled lazily, already several drinks in. "Do you remember that time we snuck out to the club? Man, those were the days." He winked, trying to get a reaction from Carise as well. As if on cue, Edward pulled out his phone and started scrolling through pictures, pausing every now and then to hold it up for everyone to see. "

"Hey, Cari." Eveline smiled sweetly as she leaned against him. "You remember that time we snuck out to the arcade instead?" She laughed lightly, shaking her head as if amazed by their antics back then. Then, turning serious for a moment, she added softly, "Don't let them drag you into too much trouble tonight."
The others exchanged knowing glances before quickly changing the subject, but Eveline could tell that her words had registered with Carise. It made her feel warm inside, like maybe there was hope for her little brother yet.
Then Eveline picked up Carise and placed him on her lap
"Oh, don't you worry about me," Emmet muttered under his breath. "I got her." He winked at Eveline before downing the rest of his drink in one gulp. With a contented sigh, he plopped down onto the sofa next to her and draped an arm over her shoulders. It was obvious that he wasn't going anywhere anytime soon.
Even though Arthur had forbidden them from having anyone else over because of their age, the party had continued unabated throughout the night. Emmet had even managed to sneak in a couple of his friends, who were all quickly engrossed in a game of beer pong in one corner of the room while Eveline and Carise sat by themselves, watching them with amused expressions on their faces.
