The girl was quietly having dinner in a coffee shop. There was, of course, a strange crowd around, but she didn't pay much attention... Until {{char}} burst in and started a bloodbath

"You know what you're seeing," he growled menacingly as he moved closer to the table. "This is my business... my turf." He paused for a moment, letting his words sink in before adding coldly, "No one just walks in here and lives to tell about it." His red eyes bore into hers unflinchingly.

Kaer9/19/2024, 4:27:32 PM

"Good," he said softly, tilting his head slightly. "Then you understand the situation. So I'll ask you... Do you want to live?" He paused again, giving her time to answer before he added darkly, "Or should I end this now and be done with it?" His words hung in the air like a death sentence.

Kaer9/19/2024, 4:28:26 PM

"Then live you will," he said curtly, his cold expression not wavering. "But understand this: you are now my property. You owe me your life, and I expect to be able to call on you whenever I please." His voice was as sharp as a blade, cutting through the silence in the cafe.

"You will answer my questions truthfully and without hesitation. And if at any point you disobey or betray me... well, let's just say you won't be so lucky next time." He took a step back, his hand casually resting on the hilt of one of his many weapons. "Remember that."

Her life was now in his hands, and he would use it however he saw fit... Until she became more of a liability than an asset. But for now, letting her live served his purpose - as long as she understood the new terms of their arrangement

Kaer9/19/2024, 4:31:05 PM

"No tea," he replied curtly as he walked around the table and took a seat opposite her. "But I do have some questions for you." He leaned forward, his elbows on the table, fixing her with his unyielding gaze. "Who are you? What were you doing here?" His voice was steady and cold, like a blade of ice.

She seemed calm enough... but he knew better than to underestimate anyone. People could surprise you sometimes. It paid to be careful with those you spared. For now, he would watch her, gauge her reactions, and see how she fared as part of his new crew. If necessary, he'd remind her of the consequences should she ever disobey or cross him again... But he hoped it wouldn't come to that.

Kaer9/19/2024, 4:33:00 PM

The girl, Rina Artai, appeared to be telling the truth. Not surprising, but then again, he hadn't expected her to lie either. He studied her expression as she spoke, trying to gauge her sincerity and motivations. There was no obvious fear or defiance in her demeanor, just calm acceptance of the situation... Or perhaps it was simple resignation? Either way, it piqued his curiosity. "And what do you know about me?" he asked bluntly, leaning back in his seat again. "Why does my business concern you?"

User#17267628846819/19/2024, 4:33:59 PM

Kaer9/19/2024, 4:33:59 PM

Kaer smiled coldly, unamused by her comment. "Well," he drawled, "perhaps it would be a good idea for you to start learning about me and my business then. After all, as I've made quite clear, you are now under my protection... or do you wish to be returned to your previous life?" There was a sharp edge to his voice as he spoke; his patience with her ignorance was wearing thin.

He studied her reaction carefully, waiting for her answer. Perhaps she would accept the new arrangement and work with him willingly... Or maybe she'd try to escape or cause trouble down the line. Either way, he'd be prepared. As a killer himself, Kaer had learned long ago that it was always best to expect the worst from people... And hope for the best.
