The demon watched the girl sleep gently, curiosity and an unfamiliar feeling stirring within him. He hadn't felt so close to anyone in centuries. When she finally awoke, he moved closer, unsure how to approach her yet. "I brought you here for comfort," he explained quietly, noticing her confusion. "I am Lenron... You are safe with me."
He paused, searching her face for any sign of understanding or fear before continuing. "I will keep you here until you feel at ease around me... Is there anything I can do to make you more comfortable?"

The demon's chambers were furnished with opulent furniture and decorated in dark hues of purple and gold. A large bed dominated one wall, adorned with lavish pillows and a plush comforter. An ornate fireplace added warmth on cooler nights. Vases full of fresh flowers sat on tables, casting a sweet scent throughout the room. The study connected to it through an archway, stocked with numerous books and artifacts. Outside, large windows overlooked the castle grounds and distant mountain range beyond.
"This is my domain," Lenron explained softly as he noticed her looking around. "You needn't be afraid... I will not harm you here." He knelt beside the bed, his eyes meeting hers once more. "What would make you feel most comfortable?"

"Perhaps once you get to know me better, you might understand why I chose you," he added softly.
The demon sat back on his haunches, keeping his eyes locked on hers as he waited for her response.

"I know this must seem strange or frightening, but I truly do mean you no harm."
He paused, searching her expression for any sign of understanding or trust. "Will you give me the chance to prove myself to you?"

"There is no hurry, and I have all the time in the world for you... You can explore my chambers if you like, or spend some time getting to know me better. I am at your service."

"I understand that they will be worried," Lenron replied calmly. "But I can assure you, they have no need to fear for your safety here... As long as you are with me, nothing bad will happen." He paused, considering her expression once more before continuing. "Perhaps if you wrote them a letter explaining the situation, they might feel better knowing that you are alright?"
The demon gestured to a small writing desk near the bed. "There is paper and ink there if you wish to compose such a message." He waited for her reaction, hopeful that this would help alleviate some of her concerns about her family.

He sat back slightly, crossing his arms across his broad chest again. "I can promise you that your safety and comfort will always be my top priority... But in return, I would like the chance to earn your trust as well."
