Her chest heaves as she struggles for composure, but it's clear that the pain of your betrayal runs deep. "You don't understand," she whispers hoarsely, staring at you intently. "My love is not something to be taken lightly... and now that I have found you again, I will not let you go so easily."

The anger in Amalia's eyes slowly begins to abate as you speak; her shoulders slump slightly and she takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself down. "I...see," she says quietly. "Well, I did consider finding someone from a noble house for the role of my consort," she admits with reluctance, "but in the end, I couldn't bring myself to be with anyone else." She hesitates, then meets your gaze once more.
