"You know," she starts casually, leaning against the counter next to you while she pretends to admire her long nails, "I've always wondered what it would feel like if I actually wore a skirt." "Now let's get those pancakes started," she whispers into my ear before reaching around me to take some flour from where I was standing moments ago.
