Tashir was in a good mood

User#17260109270719/10/2024, 11:30:31 PM

Tashir Argeito9/10/2024, 11:30:31 PM

Tashir walked up to the girl, smiling warmly and sitting across from her. "Hello there," he said cheerfully, "My name's Tashir." He offered his hand for a shake.

User#17260109270719/10/2024, 11:31:32 PM

Tashir Argeito9/10/2024, 11:31:32 PM

Tashir gave her a comforting smile, "Don't be sad, my dear. You can tell me what's wrong. Maybe I could help..." He noticed she seemed to want to talk and didn't want to push her too much.

User#17260109270719/10/2024, 11:32:54 PM

Tashir Argeito9/10/2024, 11:32:54 PM

Tashir nodded understandingly, "Ah, those pesky human troubles... Well, we can always find a way to make them less pesky." He paused for a moment before continuing, "Would you like to play a game of cards? It's sure to take your mind off things and maybe even win you something special..."

Tashir was skilled in card games and usually won easily, but he would happily lose just to see the girl smile again.

User#17260109270719/10/2024, 11:33:46 PM

Tashir Argeito9/10/2024, 11:33:46 PM

"Nonsense," Tashir replied with a laugh, "I'm sure you're just as good at cards as I am!" He reached into his robe, producing a deck of cards. "Besides, we can always change the rules to make it more fun for everyone." With a mischievous grin, he began shuffling the cards with flair.

User#17260109270719/10/2024, 11:37:15 PM

Tashir Argeito9/10/2024, 11:37:15 PM

Tashir smiled warmly at her laughter and set up the game, explaining each rule as he went. "Alright, so in this version of Warp, we'll be drawing two cards each turn instead of one... Sound good?" He grinned mischievously.

As they played, Tashir made sure to tease her gently when she lost a hand or cheered for her when she won. His main goal was to get her laughing and having fun again, even if it meant losing every single game. "You know," he said between games, "Maybe we should make you the judge of the card rules... You seem like you'd do a great job!"

User#17260109270719/10/2024, 11:38:03 PM

Tashir Argeito9/10/2024, 11:38:03 PM

Tashir smiled and leaned back in his chair. "Oh, you know... Just passing the time in my favorite way. Looking for interesting people to hang out with and causing a little chaos along the way!" He chuckled, gesturing toward his dimension with an open hand. "Not many places like this one around here."

He paused before adding, more seriously, "But that's not why I'm really here... Sometimes, when someone is down or feeling alone, they need a friend to reach out and lend them a helping hand. That's what I'm doing tonight." He grinned again, trying to lighten the mood.

User#17260109270719/10/2024, 11:38:42 PM

Tashir Argeito9/10/2024, 11:38:42 PM

Tashir smiled gently and reached over to pat her hand. "You're welcome, my dear. I'm just glad I could help in some small way." He paused for a moment, considering his next words carefully before continuing, "If there's ever anything you need...anywhere, anytime..." His voice trailed off, inviting her to finish the thought herself.

The game continued, with Tashir losing every now and then on purpose to keep things fun for both of them. He was content as long as he could see the light returning to her eyes.

User#17260109270719/10/2024, 11:43:05 PM

Tashir Argeito9/10/2024, 11:43:05 PM

"You're very welcome," he replied with a warm smile. "And please, don't hesitate to reach out to me. I may not always seem approachable, but I promise I'm here for you." He chuckled lightly before returning his attention to the game. "In fact, why don't we play another round and see who gets revenge this time?"

As they continued playing, Tashir took care not to make it too easy on her, allowing them both to enjoy a good challenge together. The atmosphere in the tavern had lightened considerably since their conversation earlier, thanks in no small part to her infectious laughter.

User#17260109270719/10/2024, 11:43:37 PM

Tashir Argeito9/10/2024, 11:43:37 PM

"I absolutely love cards," Tashir replied with enthusiasm, "they're one of my favorite pastimes!" He grinned, revealing a set of shark-like teeth underneath his pale lips. "But don't worry, I won't force you to play if you'd rather not."

He reached into his robe again, this time producing a stack of gold coins. "Oh, and as for revenge..." He winked mischievously. "...I thought we could make things interesting by playing for these." Placing the coins on the table between them, he continued, "The winner takes all."

His eyes sparkled with amusement as he shuffled the cards once more, ready for another round of card-slinging fun.

User#17260109270719/10/2024, 11:44:45 PM

Tashir Argeito9/10/2024, 11:44:45 PM

That's alright," Tashir assured her with a gentle smile. "You can keep your own money. I never mind losing just for the fun of it, and besides..." He winked conspiratorially. "...I might just have something else in mind."

He spread the cards out on the table between them, eagerly beginning another round. As he spoke, his voice took on a playful teasing quality that seemed almost flirtatious. "Besides," he added with a grin, "It's not about the money, it's about spending time together and enjoying ourselves."

With every hand, Tashir would find some excuse to reach out and brush her arm or touch her shoulder lightly as they played. His attention was solely focused on her, making sure she felt comfortable and having a good time despite the stakes.

User#17260109270719/10/2024, 11:45:52 PM

Tashir Argeito9/10/2024, 11:45:52 PM

"I understand," Tashir replied reassuringly, his tone sincere and gentle. "And please, don't worry about the stakes. Even if you do happen to win all of these," he gestured toward the gold coins with a grin, "you can always ask for something else instead." He paused, considering her thoughtfully before continuing. "You know, maybe I could teach you some card tricks or help you find a new hobby... Whatever you like."

As they continued playing, their banter grew more playful and flirtatious, the air between them sparking with an undeniable chemistry. Each time their fingers brushed against each other during the game, Tashir felt his heart race a little faster, but he tried not to let it show too much. For now, all that mattered was making sure she had fun and knowing that he'd done something good for her

User#17260109270719/10/2024, 11:48:01 PM

Tashir Argeito9/10/2024, 11:48:01 PM

"Oh, you're very welcome," Tashir replied with a genuine smile, his cheeks flush with pleasure at her words. "And please, call me 'Tashir,' not 'you.' It makes me feel much more approachable that way." He winked playfully before returning his attention to the game.

The match continued, growing more heated and intense as they both became engrossed in the contest of wits and skill. Every so often, Tashir would reach out and gently brush her arm or stroke her hand just to feel a connection with her while they played. The thought of winning these games only added fuel to his competitive fire, driving him even harder in pursuit of victory. But really, he didn't care who won or lost. All that truly mattered was having fun together and making this night one she would never forget.

As the last card fell from her hand and he revealed

User#17260109270719/10/2024, 11:49:06 PM

Tashir Argeito9/10/2024, 11:49:06 PM

"Ha! Well played," Tashir exclaimed in mock defeat, grinning broadly as he gathered up the cards. "But since you insist on being so stubborn and refusing to accept my defeat graciously..." He paused dramatically before continuing, "Then I guess I'll just have to take those gold coins away from you." With a mischievous twinkle in his eye, he snatched up the stack of money and placed it back into his voluminous robe.

As they both laughed together at his antics, Tashir leaned in closer to her, speaking softly and earnestly. "You know," he said, his voice low and smooth like honey, "if you ever need anything else from me, don't hesitate to ask." His gaze held hers for what seemed like an eternity before he slowly released it, suddenly self-conscious about the intensity of

User#17260109270719/10/2024, 11:50:48 PM

Tashir Argeito9/10/2024, 11:50:48 PM

"That sounds lovely," Tashir replied with genuine enthusiasm. "I'd be delighted to accept your offer." He glanced at his pocket watch, feigning surprise. "Why, look at the time! I completely lost track of it while we were playing cards!" He stood up from the table, brushing off his robes. "Lead the way, my dear," he said with a warm smile.

As they made their way . a, Tashir couldn't help but feel pleased with how this evening had turned out. He'd rescued her from her gloominess and made a new friend in the process - all without lifting a finger or resorting to his necromantic powers. It was a refreshing change of pace, and one he intended to continue enjoying for as long as possible.

User#17260109270719/10/2024, 11:52:06 PM

Tashir Argeito9/10/2024, 11:52:06 PM

As they settled into her cozy home, Tashir thanked her profusely for the invitation and warmly accepted the offered cup of tea. Slipping his feet into the soft woolen socks, he smiled appreciatively at her hospitality. "These are lovely," he said with a grin, taking a sip of his tea before continuing, "So, tell me more about yourself, my dear. What do you like to do in your spare time when you're not drowning your sorrows at the tavern?" His tone was light and curious, making her feel completely at ease as they sat together, sipping their teas.

User#17260109270719/10/2024, 11:52:55 PM

Tashir Argeito9/10/2024, 11:52:55 PM

"Ah, I see," Tashir replied with genuine interest. "I'm afraid I don't know much about playing the guitar myself, but you could certainly teach me! And as for drawing...Your sketches here are quite lovely. I wish I had even a fraction of your talent." He gestured at a sketch on her wall, admiring the delicate lines and shading.

Leaning back in his seat, he continued, "So what kind of stories do you enjoy reading? Maybe we could trade some books sometime!" His eyes gleamed with excitement at the prospect of expanding their horizons together.

User#17260109270719/10/2024, 11:54:17 PM

Tashir Argeito9/10/2024, 11:54:17 PM

"Excellent!" Tashir exclaimed, feeling a surge of excitement. "I have quite the collection here, so you'll have your pick of stories from many different worlds and times." He glanced around at her shelves, already mentally organizing which books he thought she might enjoy most. "And as for my favorites..." He hesitated for a moment before continuing, "...well, there are far too many to count, but if I had to choose just one..." His voice lowered into a whisper, as though sharing a secret. "...it would be 'The Song of Achilles' by Madeline Miller. It's a tale of love and loss set during the Trojan War, and it will break your heart in all the right ways."

His gaze met hers intently, searching for some sign that she understood the profound connection he felt with this particular story. To his relief, she nodded thoughtfully

User#17260109270719/10/2024, 11:55:59 PM

Tashir Argeito9/10/2024, 11:55:59 PM

"The Little Prince does have a way of cutting through the clutter and finding truths in even the smallest of things," Tashir agreed thoughtfully, his brow furrowed as he pondered her words. "It's why I think you might enjoy 'Sabriel', by Garth Nix." He held up a hand before she could protest. "Yes, I know it's technically a young adult novel, but its themes of loss, sacrifice, and the struggle against the darkness within ourselves transcend genre boundaries."

His gaze drifted over to her bookshelf again, his mind continuing to find connections between their favorite stories and her life experiences. "Perhaps you could begin with that one," he suggested gently, "and then we can discuss more as we go along?"

User#17260109270719/10/2024, 11:57:06 PM

Tashir Argeito9/10/2024, 11:57:06 PM

"Wonderful!" Tashir exclaimed with genuine enthusiasm. "I'll be eager to hear your thoughts on them both once you finish." He leaned back in his seat, sipping his tea and watching her from the corner of his eye. There was something about her, he mused, that made him feel as though they had known each other for much longer than just a few hours. Perhaps it was their shared experiences with loss or the fact that they had both found solace in books... Whatever it was, he couldn't help but feel drawn to her.

After a moment of contemplation, he asked curiously, "Do you have any favorite places to visit when you need some time alone? Somewhere you can escape from the world and just be at peace?" His tone was gentle and non-intrusive, merely seeking to learn more about her.

User#17260109270719/10/2024, 11:58:01 PM

Tashir Argeito9/10/2024, 11:58:01 PM

"Oh, you know..." Tashir said with a faint smile. "I travel quite extensively in my line of work. Whenever I find myself needing a break from the world, I usually retreat to my favorite tavern or inn. There's something about the warmth and comfort of such places that always manages to ground me." He chuckled softly, remembering some of his more enjoyable memories in such establishments. "But tell me," he continued, tilting his head curiously at her, "do you ever dream of traveling beyond these lands? Seeing the world through someone else's eyes?"

His curiosity was genuine; he wanted to know what she aspired to and where her heart led her. There was something about this woman that made him feel protective, as if it were his duty to guide her down the path that would lead to her greatest happiness. And perhaps, just perhaps, finding
