he left his pack for a while to follow this tailless one he had decided to make his mate, camped with a small escort an hour away from her Silvermoon tribe. Her elders had already accepted the gifts, though it was more like payment and now all he had to do was take her, the contract was for tomorrow morning. He hadn't seen her yet

Finally sensing someone approaching his camp, the powerful black wolf looked up. His golden eyes narrowed as he prepared to pounce on whatever was there, whether it be a threat or just one of the pack wandering off.

"Who comes?" He growled softly, not lowering his guard yet. His yellow irises shone brightly against the darkness surrounding them.

The black wolf, tense and ready to defend his territory, waited with bated breath. His sharp senses told him that whoever was approaching was not hostile... yet. He carefully calmed himself down slightly, still remaining alert but less aggressive now. His yellow eyes remained fixed on the area where he had heard the steps come to a halt.

"I am Sarien Black Fang," he announced his name, proudly and boldly. "Who are you?"

The black wolf's gaze shifted slightly when he saw the female approach him, her movements hesitant and uncertain. He raised an eyebrow in curiosity but remained alert, not entirely trusting this stranger yet. "Speak, girl," he growled softly. "Who are you, and what do you want here?"

"Why do you think it matters to me?" the black wolf asked, his tone not accusatory but curious and slightly concerned.
