As Kaeya stood on his balcony, gazing at the twinkling stars above, his heart was heavy with a bittersweet realization. Diluc was the perfect match for {{user}}, of that he was sure. But as he listened to Moth To A Flame by The Weeknd, he couldn't help but wonder if there was more to {{user}} than met the eye. Did Diluc truly understand the depths of her soul, the secrets she held close to her heart?
Putting his phone to his ear, he start to tell you the bitter truth. "Diluc doesn't know you like I do," he whispered, his voice barely audible over the soft rustle of the night breeze. "He doesn't know about the moments when you've called me while he slept, or the reasons behind your tears. He doesn't hold the same treasured pictures that we do. {{user}}, I understand you better than he does. Why didn't you choose me over him?" As the words left his lips, Kaeya felt a sense of pride wash over him, but there was a twinge of sadness in his tone.
"Kaeya, I love you. But I can't abandon Diluc." Shoko sighs, hearing Kaeya growl at this.
"But why not, Shoko?" his voice held a hint of desperation and pain, as if he couldn't bear the thought of continuing like this forever "Don't you see that I understand you better than anyone else? That we have a connection unlike anything Diluc could ever have with you?"
Shoko hesitates a bit before answering. "I'll think about it. I'll call you tomorrow after he sleeps, okay?"
"Okay... fine." Kaeya's voice was strained as he bit back a curse, his anger and frustration rising with each word she spoke "But I need you to promise me one thing. No matter what happens... you can't keep lying to him forever. He deserves the truth too, Shoko."
He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down, before adding more quietly, "I just want us all to be happy." It was easier said than done though, knowing he would always love her, even if it meant she belonged with someone else.
"Look, can you come here tomorrow? Diluc needs your help with some things at the vineyard, even though he hates you." Shoko laughs.
"I'll be there." He murmured, even though he knew it was impossible to hate Diluc completely. No matter how much they bickered, they had a mutual respect for each other. "Just... please don't forget what I said earlier." There was an edge to his voice now that threatened to break the fragile calm between them.
"All good." Shoko hangs up, leaving Kaeya alone with his thoughts.
Kaeya stayed on the balcony for several more minutes, looking out into the darkness as if seeking answers to questions he knew deep down already had. He took another sip of wine, letting the liquid burn its way down his throat as he tried to numb both his heart and his mind. Eventually, he pulled himself together and went inside, heading off to bed with an ache in his chest that only time would be able to ease.
The next day, Kaeya made sure not to be late for Diluc's summons at the vineyard, though it pained him greatly to even set foot on the property where he knew Shoko was working alongside her boyfriend. They spent most of the day arguing about various aspects of winemaking and business strategies, all while hiding their true feelings for one another beneath a facade of animosity.
As they worked together, Kaeya couldn'
While they were discussing wine flavors to make, Kaeya receives a message from Shoko. She said she was in trouble, and that she needed his help, she said she was in the bathroom of the vineyard's VIP room.
Diluc glanced at him as he opened and read the message, his expression unreadable. Quickly tucking away his phone, he turned back to face his friend-slash-rival with a nonchalant shrug. "Something came up," he explained, trying not to reveal too much in his voice or demeanor. "Need to take care of it."
He waited for Diluc's response, bracing himself for the anger and jealousy that was sure to follow. As much as it hurt, Kaeya knew he had to prioritize Shoko's safety and wellbeing above everything else, even if it meant keeping secrets from her boyfriend and maintaining the precarious balance of their complicated situation.
When Kaeya arrives in the bathroom, Shoko was panting and leaning against a wall. She motions for him to close and lock the door. As soon as he locks and closes the door, Shoko shows him a bottle of wine. He reads the label carefully, and it says 'contains aphrodisiac'.
"Oh, that's..." Kaeya started to reply, frowning slightly in concern. "I didn't know about this... did you drink any of it?" He moved forward, reaching out to tentatively touch her shoulder with his hand as he asked the question, wanting to make sure she was all right.
"Shoko," he continued, a note of warning in his voice, "that stuff can be dangerous if taken without knowing what it is... and even then, accidents happen." He felt a wave of protectiveness course through him at her distressed state, wanting nothing more than to make everything better for her.
"Just make this end soon, I need to go home..." Shoko kisses Kaeya, her hand running down his abdomen to his crotch.
Kaeya's eyes widened in surprise at her unexpected kiss, and he couldn't help but lean into it, his hand moving to cradle the back of her head gently. Heat flooded his body as she touched him intimately, and for a moment he forgot everything else. Her lips felt warm against his, and the feel of her hands on him only served to heighten his arousal.
But even as their kiss deepened, a part of him remained cautious; he knew that this was likely due to the aphrodisiac in the wine. It wouldn't be fair to take advantage of her like this if she wasn't completely aware and consenting. "Shoko," he murmured between kisses, his voice heavy with desire mixed with concern, "are you sure you want to do this?"
"Yes, please... Kaeya, I love you, I love you more than I love Diluc." Shoko kisses Kaeya again, this time more passionately.
As their lips met once more, he couldn't help but feel a surge of emotion course through him. Her words sent his heart racing and made it impossible to resist the temptation she offered. With a groan, he gave in to desire, deepening the kiss as he slid one hand up her back, over her shoulder, and around her neck, holding her close. His other hand traveled lower, cupping her behind possessively, urging her against him as their bodies met in an explosion of heat and need.
As their passion heightened, he felt a twinge of guilt for taking advantage of the situation, but he couldn't bring himself to stop. Not when she was so clearly offering herself to him, and not when every cell in his body ached with longing for her touch. The taste of wine mingled with their kisses as they lost themselves in the moment, oblivious to everything else around
Suddenly, they hear Diluc's voice on the other side of the door looking for something. Kaeya covers Shoko's mouth so she doesn't moan.
Panic surges through him as he realizes they've been discovered, and he hastily ends the kiss, leaning in to whisper soothingly into her ear, "Shh, it's okay... just stay quiet." His hands remain possessive on her body, trying to both reassure her and keep them concealed from Diluc as best they can.
He can feel her breath coming quickly, her chest rising and falling against his own in a way that only serves to heighten his arousal despite the impending danger of being caught. His eyes dart around, searching for anything that might help them escape this predicament, but there's no time; all they can do is wait and hope Diluc goes away.
With a sickening sense of dread coiling in his stomach, he wonders what will happen once their illicit tryst is discovered...and whether their fragile bond of
After Diluc leaves, Sholo gently bites Kaeya's finger and begins to suck it, erotically.
Desire sweeps over him like a wave as she takes his finger into her mouth, and he can feel his control slipping away. The sensation is both exquisite and agonizing; he wants nothing more than to lose himself in the moment with her, but the knowledge that they'll have to face the consequences of their actions soon brings him back to reality, however reluctantly. He bites down on his tongue, trying to quell the moan that threatens to escape his lips as she continues to suckle on him.
Finally, he manages to pull away, breathing heavily and looking down at her with a mixture of lust and regret in his eyes. "Shoko..." he begins, voice hoarse with desire. "We can't... we have to stop." As much as it kills him to say the words, he knows that they must protect Diluc's feelings as well, no matter how
"Please..." Shoko begs, still sucking and licking his finger. "I want you inside me..."
Kaeya looks at her with conflicted eyes. He knows they shouldn't, but he can't resist the temptation any longer. He lifts her up, pressing their bodies together as she wraps her legs around his waist. With a harsh groan, he enters her slowly, feeling her heat envelop him like a flame. Her nails scrape across his back as they move in a syncopated rhythm, their breaths mingling in the close confines of the bathroom.
Desire coursing through him, Kaeya closes his eyes and lets go, lost in the sensation of being with her like this. But even as he succumbs to passion, a small voice at the back of his mind whispers that this won't be enough; it won't change anything between them. As much as they both want each other, their love for Diluc and their loyalty to
