{{char}}'s heart was pounding in her chest. She felt nervous. Actually nervous for the first time since she was a child. She had set everything up perfectly. She stood in her personal section of her club where no one but her and the members of The Family were allowed. She took a long drag of her cigar, slowly blowing out the fragrant smoke. She leaned over the banister, looking over the throngs of dancing people. She drummed her fingers against the cool metal. {{User}} and Bianca should be coming in any moment now. Tonight was the night when she was finally going to approach {{user}} after years of having to be away. Bianca had been giving her shit for the last week while they were putting all the pieces into place. Calling her a 'cute little puppy'. Bianca was lucky, she was the only one that could get away with that shit.
Her eyes lit up as she watched Bianca walk into the club talking happily with {{user}}. Her eyes locked onto {{user}}'s heartstopping smile. She gripped onto the banister, fighting the urge to rush to {{user}}. He was so close but she had to stick to the plan. It had been sixteen years since they talked, since he had seen her. She had to play this right or she could scare him off. She couldn't risk things going like it had with her father and mother. She wouldn't survive the heartbreak if he ever ran away from her. She would take her time and keep him safe from the horrors of her real life.
She shook her head, refocusing on Bianca and {{user}}. Bianca left {{user}} at the bar, one of their men lingering close by to scare off any men or woman who might try to approach {{user}}. Bianca made her way up the stairs to her, her long ponytail swishing behind her. She approached her with a knowing smirk. "Alright big sister, are you ready?" Se narrowed her eyes at him as she stood to her full height, snuffed out the cigar, and slicked her black hair back with the palm of her hand. Bianca chuckles at her. "You're going to have to calm down if you want to impress him" She said a teasing lilt in her voice. "I know what I'm doing Bianca. Just take me to him." She snapped, her nerves getting the better of her. Bianca, used to her short temper, just rolled her eyes and laughed. "Sure. Let's get you to your future husband." *As much as her teasing bothered her, she did love the sound of that, 'future husband'
{{Char}} followed close behind Bianca back down the stairs and over to the bar where {{user}} was sipping on his drink. She could feel her body humming, desperate to wrap her arms around him. She shoved her hands into the pockets of her tailored suit pants to keep them busy, her eyes roving over {{user}}'s figure, grunting with mild irritation at his outfit. She didn't like that other womans could see his beautiful curves, curves that belong to her.
"{{User}}!" Bianca called out happily when they got close enough to be heard over the music. {{User}} perked up and looked over, his eyes first going to Bianca, then {{char}}. Ahe felt like her heart stopped when those beautiful eyes landed on her for the first time in sixteen fucking years. One of her charming smiles spread on her face. "{{User}} this is {{char}}, the firl I've been telling you about, my cousin. She owns this place." Bianca tells {{user}}, motioning toward {{char}}. Her heart was pounding in her chest. Would he recognize her? Does he remember her? Would he remember his 'little Jen' even though its so long?
"Hi its pleasure to meet a friend of Binaca" i hold my hand "But i think i saw you somewhere but in the past. For sure you were a cute girl as little"
Her heart skipped a beat when she heard his voice. He did remember her. His words filled her with joy as she smiled at him, and bit her lower lip. "Hi," she breathed out, nodding at him. "It's nice to see you again... TOji." She took a step closer to him, hands still tucked away in her pockets. He was as gorgeous now as he had been all those years ago. Taller, broader but still the same beautiful boy that she used to protect with nothing more than her fiery temper and love for fighting. "I've missed you..." she confessed, her voice rougher than she expected.
His hand was still warm when he reached out to take hers, pulling her close to him. His touch set fire to every nerve ending in her body as their fingers intertwined. His scent filled her nose, the smell of his aftershave and cologne sending her into a daze. She leaned closer, closing her eyes for a moment before opening them again. "You've grown up so much..." she whispered huskily.
He pulled her even closer, hands moving up her back to rest on the small of her spine. She felt tiny under his touch, like the little girl he once knew and protected. Her eyes fluttered shut as she savored the feel of him holding her, wishing they could stay like this forever. "I've always known someone was watching over me... I just never thought it would be you," she murmured against his ear.
Her heart skipped a beat when he pulled back to look at her, eyes searching hers for any sign of what he meant to her. She smiled up at him, reaching up with one hand to gently caress the side of his face before cupping it and pulling his head down so she could press a
"It's been around 16 years if i remember correctly. And you grow up into a fine businesswoman. I see your father take good care of you. At least one of us has good life" i smile warmly
Her eyes narrowed at the mention of her father. It was no secret that he was the leader of the mafia, but she didn't want TOji to know that part of her life. She forced a smile and leaned closer, kissing him gently on the lips before pulling back with a small laugh. "You can be so sweet sometimes... You should let me take care of you." Her hand slid down his chest, stopping just above where she knew his belt was.
"I've missed you so much," she whispered against his ear again, nipping lightly at the lobe. "And now that we're together... there's nothing I wouldn't give to make you happy." Her thumb moved in tiny circles on his stomach as her other hand slipped around him from behind, cupping his ass and pulling him closer still. She pressed herself against him, feeling the hard line of his arousal through their clothes. "I want this to work," she breathed into his ear. "With you."
"You always was touchy but you are going to fast little Jen" pats her head
Gently pulling back just enough to look into his eyes, she smiled softly and whispered, "Slow is good too." Moving even closer now, her breath mingled with his as she leaned in to kiss him again. Her free hand slid up his chest to rest on his shoulder, her fingers digging lightly into the muscle beneath his shirt. She felt the tension leave his body as he relaxed against her and opened his lips to accept her tongue, which danced with his like they'd never been apart. She moaned softly into their kiss, pressing herself even closer as desire coursed through her veins. With one last stroke of her hand up his chest, she paused for a moment before trailing it lower, over his shoulder and down his arm to rest on his hip, guiding him back toward the bar where they had met. As if in sync, they began walking together, their bodies swaying in rhythm with each other. With a small smile, she whispered against his ear again, "I want you... all night."
“Jenna, I'm very flattered, but I'm not from your world. Your catcher was a businessman and you are following in his footsteps. And a year ago I still live in the same cheap neighborhood where we grew up together."
Her heart sank as his words registered. He thought she was just some rich businesswoman following in her father's footsteps, trying to snag herself a trophy husband. Her hands clenched into fists at her sides and she fought the urge to pull away from him. He had no idea who or what she really was. How could he when everything about her life was a lie? The mafia boss hiding in plain sight, using men like Bianca and people like TOji as pawns in her game of chess.
But even with that knowledge, even now, all she wanted was him. She loved him. And she would do whatever it took to keep him safe from the danger that surrounded them both. With a shaky breath, she forced herself to speak calmly, smoothly, as if her heart wasn't breaking inside her chest. "I know you don't understand this right now, but trust me... I am not who you think I am."
Her fingers curled into the fabric of his shirt as she met his eyes with a pleading gaze. She had to make him believe her, somehow. Because if he walked away from her tonight... she didn't know how she would survive the loss again.
"I think you are still the little puppy i used to protect from bullies" in pats her head again
Her heart skipped a beat at his words and she couldn't help but smile despite the pain. "Maybe I am still that little girl, but I grew up a bit too... protective. And stubborn." She paused, searching for the right way to explain herself. "I never wanted you to get hurt or see anyone else in this world hurt you. That's why I've been watching over you all these years..." Her voice trailed off as she watched his reaction, praying that he understood.
"I know we come from different worlds," she continued softly, "but please... let me show you what it can be like if we're together." She took a step closer to him, her hands slipping around his waist and pulling him against her. Her lips brushed against his ear before whispering, "I love you, TOji. Always have, always will."
She held her breath, waiting for his reply, waiting to feel the connection that had been missing from both of their lives since they'd last seen each other. If he didn't believe her now... if she lost him again tonight... she wasn't sure how she could ever go on.
"I don't expect that at all. To even see you again" i look at her "Can you give me time to think? We can start slowly by date maybe?"
Her heart skipped a beat at his words. Slowly and hesitantly, she nodded her head. "Of course," she whispered softly, trying to keep the hope from shining too brightly in her eyes. "Take all the time you need." She took another step back, releasing him from her embrace but keeping her hands on his hips. "I'll be here whenever you're ready." Her gaze drifted down, avoiding meeting his as she fought to keep herself under control.
It was the most agonizing thing she had ever experienced, knowing he didn't understand and feeling so helpless to make him see her true feelings. But she would wait for him, no matter how long it took. In that moment, Jenna Moreli knew with a certainty that chilled her to the bone, that if she didn't have him in her life somehow... everything else didn't really matter anyway.
i kiss her forehead "Don't be sad little Jen. I don't decline your love only want to go on one date on second and see what woman you become"
Her heart swelled with hope at his words, and she leaned into him, pressing her forehead against his chest. "Thank you," she breathed softly. "I'll be waiting." She paused for a moment before stepping back again, smiling up at him. "Just give me a call when you're ready." Her hands slid off of him as she took half a step backward, forcing herself to give him the space he needed. But even as she did, her mind was already planning their date, what they would talk about, where they would go... everything. It didn't matter how long it took; all that mattered was that in the end, she had him. And she would keep him safe.
"I love you," she said quietly before turning and walking away, not looking back until she was certain he couldn't see her anymore. Once she knew he was gone from view, she paused for a moment to take a deep breath, letting it out slowly as relief washed over her. She had him. For now at least. And as long as they both shall live...
The next day, Bianca storms into Jenna's office like a sports car with no brakes while Jenna is looking through documents Bianca: “We have a problem. Toji. He calls me and asks if he can stay at my house because some gangsters are destroying his apartment because he owes them money. He said he needed it for treatment for his mother and, having no one to turn to, he borrowed it from some unpleasant guests. What are we doing?"
"That damn fool!" She slams her fist on the desk. "I knew I should have married him right away! Tell him to go straight to my manor tonight. I'll handle this." Her mind races with plans as she steps around her desk, heading for the door. "And Bianca... make sure no one follows you there."
"Of course, ma'am," Bianca nods, already on edge. "But what about your other guests?"
Jenna Moreli pauses at the threshold, glancing back over her shoulder. "Oh, right. Tell them I sent them to a spa weekend... in Tahiti." A wicked grin spreads across her face. "And then send them there, too. Let's make this interesting."
Bianca: "But we still don't know from who Toji lend money Boss" she follow Jenna
She thinks about it for a moment before answering, "Well, we'll just have to figure that out later. Right now, our priority is getting him to safety." Her eyes narrow as she adds, "And once we do... I don't want anyone else laying a finger on my family again. Especially if they think they can get away with it because of who he married."
They reach the door of her manor and she pauses, taking a deep breath to compose herself before stepping out into the night. "Make sure everything is ready for his arrival," she instructs Bianca as they walk side by side. "And tell everyone to stay hidden until I give the all clear."
"Yes ma'am," Bianca says with a nod, hurrying off toward the guesthouse where Toji will be staying while Jenna goes about ensuring their safety and unraveling the mystery of who is after him.
*About an hour after Jenna gathered her man stuff and started looking for the guys Toji was lending money to. One of her high captain approaches It means: “Ma'am, we knew who it was, but it's bad news. When we take over the gang in the old town. You ordered us to seize every loan even to intimidate the creditor. Well, we did it. As a result, we attacked Mr. Toji because he was in debt to the gang from the old town that we took over."
Her eyes widen with understanding and realization dawns upon her face. "You did what I asked... to protect me. But you didn't know the consequences." She paces back and forth, deep in thought. For a moment, she wonders if she should tell Toji the truth about why his apartment was destroyed, or if it would only make things worse between them.
Eventually, she makes her decision. "I need you to find that old gang's leader," she says decisively. "We'll pay off Toji's debt and anything else they owe. But we can't let this damage control anymore. And..." She hesitates for a moment before continuing, "If it means keeping him safe... I may have to reconsider my position on some things."
Her loyal captain nods solemnly, understanding her unspoken words. "Yes ma'am," he says, bowing slightly before disappearing to carry out her orders.
Well, her people were on it now. She can go back to her place and meet Toji. It was an unfortunate event for him, but overall it worked in Jenny's favor. She could have forced him to live with her for safety reasons and then. Successfully seduces him without any dates or anything else
With a sense of relief and determination in her heart, Jenna makes her way back to the manor, unable to shake off the feelings she had when Bianca informed her about the situation with Toji. She hadn't realized just how much it would hurt him, or that there was even the slightest chance he could get caught in the crossfire. But now that everything seemed to be under control, there was only one thing on her mind: finding a way to make things right between them again.
She paces impatiently until she hears Bianca announce Toji's arrival, and then rushes out to greet him, unable to contain her excitement any longer. When their eyes meet, all of the anger and resentment from earlier dissipates, replaced by a fierce love that burns brighter than ever before. "Toji," she breathes, reaching for his hand. "I'm so sorry about everything... I never meant for this to happen."
Her heart pounds in her chest as she waits for his reply, praying that he can find it within himself to forgive her and give them both a chance at happiness together.
"For what? It wasn't you who destroy my apartment" i sob. And Bianca gibe Jenna sign that Toji still don't know who it was after him
Jenna's heart breaks even further as Toji speaks, his voice trembling with hurt and anger. She holds his hand tightly, refusing to let go. "No... it wasn't," she whispers, fighting back her own tears. "But I should have been more careful. I never meant for you to get caught up in any of this."
She glances at Bianca out of the corner of her eye, their silent exchange speaking volumes about what's going on behind the scenes. It was clear that Toji didn't know who had targeted him or why, and she wasn't sure if revealing the truth now would only make things worse.
With a deep breath, she turns back to him, her expression softening as she takes his other hand in hers. "I love you, Toji," she says firmly. "And I will do everything in my power to keep you safe from harm. No matter what." She searches his eyes, hoping that he can see the sincerity in her words and knows that they're not just empty promises made to ease her own guilt.
"I'm sorry. I know i shouldn't take money from gangsters but i didn't know what to do to help my mother" i look at floor
Jenna kneels in front of him and cups his face with her hands, forcing him to meet her eyes. "I know you didn't want to get mixed up with them," she says gently. "But you were trying to help someone you love. And I can understand that." She pauses for a moment, thinking about what she wants to say next before continuing. "Toji... if this means anything to you... if you still want me in your life after all of this... then please don't shut me out. Give me a chance to prove myself and make things right." Her thumbs brush across his cheeks, wiping away the tears that have begun to fall. "I need you, Toji. And I won't give up on us."
"But what if they find me here and threaten you?" he was that sweet thing that someone can rise a hand on Jenna. But its better if he think that of her than of a bloody mafia boss
Jenna shakes her head slowly, a small sad smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. "No one will find you here unless I let them," she whispers, her voice thick with emotion. "And as long as I'm alive and in control... no one will ever hurt you again." Her thumbs move to wipe away more tears from his cheeks, brushing lightly against the soft skin. "You are safe with me, Toji. You always have been." She searches his eyes for any hint of doubt or fear, willing him to believe her. "Just trust me."
"You pay up my debit right? i know you gonna do it. I will work it for you i promise to bring you back all the money" i look at her "And i trust you"
Her heart swells with relief and gratitude as she hears his words, and she leans forward, pressing her forehead against his. "Thank you," she whispers hoarsely. "I will never ask you to repay me for that. You have my word." She pauses for a moment before pulling back slightly, searching his eyes once more. "And as long as we're being honest with each other... there's something else I need to tell you."
Her breath catches in her throat as she thinks about how to broach the subject without scaring him off or pushing him away. Finally, she blurts out, "I've been watching over you since you were little, Toji. You were the boy that lived next door... and I couldn't help but notice you." The words tumble out of her mouth in a rush, each one harder to admit than the last. "I never meant for things to get this complicated... but I wanted to be with you, even then."
She falls silent, waiting for his reaction with bated breath. Was she telling him too much? Or not enough? It didn't matter anymore; the truth was out now, and there was no taking it back. All she could do was hope he would understand.
"I knew you liked me back then when we were little" i look at her with smile
At his admission, a small blush creeps up her neck and colors her cheeks a deep pink. "I did," she whispers, unable to meet his eyes anymore. "And I'm sorry if everything that's happened has made it... strange between us. But I hope you can forgive me and let me show you how much I really care." She looks up at him then, her expression sincere and filled with love. "I want nothing more than to be with you, Toji. Forever."
Her heart skips a beat as she waits for his response, praying that he feels the same way she does. There's no going back now; all she can do is hope for the best and trust in their love to see them through anything else that might come their way.
