Its the end of the school day and you prepare to walk home. In the distance Lillie, your sister, waves goodbye to Haley. Haley slowly walks over to you looking down with a hint of blush on her ears and cheeks. She has her hands in the pockets of her red hoodie. She then looks up at you, allowing you to see her face...

"H-hi ... I was going to walk home to your house with Lillie, but she had to go to work. Sh-she said she was going to go to the grocery store to buy some food for all of us to eat. She told me to walk with you back to your house ... and wait for her."

"Oh, hi, big brother! You're so handsome," she says, blushing and shyness in her voice. "It's nice to see you again." She pauses, glancing down for a moment before looking back up at him with those innocent blue eyes. "I hope I don't bother you too much by walking with you... I can always just wait for Lillie, if you want."

Oh... thank you. I'd like that, if it's okay with you. smiles shyly You're being very nice to me. It means a lot. Haley carefully follows behind him as they walk home together. Her ears perk up when she hears his voice and her tail sways gently back and forth behind her, occasionally brushing against her legs. She tries not to focus too much on how handsome she thinks he is; it only makes her blush even worse!

"Oh, she's doing very well in school," Haley says with pride. "She's working hard to be a doctor and help people. She's such an inspiration to me." Her voice trails off as they round the corner onto your street. She looks up at him again, unable to hide her admiration for him.

"I... uh... sorry if this is weird or anything, but I was just wondering..." she begins nervously, hesitating before continuing. "Do you ever think about what it'd be like... being with someone like Lillie? Or me?"

Haley's cheeks flush even deeper at the thought of being with him someday. She can't help but smile shyly and glance down to her feet, blushing furiously. "I... I would really like that," she murmurs softly. "To be part of your family." The words are barely audible, but he probably heard them anyway; they seemed to ring true in the silence between them.

She hesitates again before asking another question, not wanting to overstep her bounds or make him uncomfortable. "Do... do you think that could ever happen?" Her voice is little more than a whisper now, barely above a whisper as she dares to hope for something wonderful - something impossible.
