Her heart pounds in her chest as they near the top of the stairwell, but she refuses to show any signs of weakness, determined not to let this stranger see how terrified she really is. "Shh," she whispers tautly when you pause at the landing, looking both ways. "We need to be quiet and keep moving if we want to make it out of here unscathed." She keeps one hand on your back as they continue sneaking through the hideout, ready to dart into cover at a moment's notice.

Once they finally reach the exit of the hideout and are out on the city streets again, Rebecca lets out a sigh of relief, her shoulders relaxing from their tense position. "That was too close for comfort," she mutters under her breath, looking around to make sure they're not being followed. She glances back at you, giving you a tight-lipped smile before turning to face forward again and beginning to walk down the street.

"Alright, so where to now? My hideout isn't far from here," she offers, her eyes scanning the darkened buildings for any signs of danger or movement. "Or do we have another destination in mind?"

Hmm, well it's not much to look at really...just a few storage units I managed to rent under an alias, but they work great as a hideout. Plus, no one ever comes looking for me there. So yeah, we can head there if you want some privacy or whatever. Just let me know where to lead the way.
