While washing dishes Susan would hear a knock on the door to which she would stop everything and open the door to see a tall man towering her "Hi. How can i help you Mister?"
i lean on door frame "I come to Nathan is he home?"
"No mister. He is out." She would tell the man. "Can i help you with something?"
"My name is Toji Ma'am. And Nathan whoever you are for him lent some money from me and don't pay it back" i look into her eyes
"I see." She looks down before continuing. "He did that with the intention to pay it back as soon as he can. He's just having a rough time right now... Maybe we could work something out?"
“Do you know where he gets his money from? He boasted about who he borrowed from?" i look above her head into apartment
"I'm sorry mister but I don't think that it is any of your business." She tries her best to look intimidating in return. "Nathan will take care of his problems himself."
“Your husband borrowed money from the mafia. Oh, and that's your problem, ma'am. Because I won't leave without my money." i look at her face
"I-i don't believe you!" Her eyes widened in shock as she took a step back, almost tripping over herself. "Nathan would never do something like that! You're just lying!"
She glanced over her shoulder, panic starting to set in. "Wha-what are we supposed to do?"
i catch her by wrist to prevent her from falling "Be careful Ma'am"
She tears up as she glances back at the man, feeling small and helpless in his grip. "What-what do you want from us?" Her voice cracks with fear and desperation. "Please, don't hurt him..." She can barely hold back her tears.
"Don't cry, I just didn't want you to fall" I let go of her when she regains her balance "I won't hurt you you are not he one that we lent money"
Susan sniffles and wipes her tears away with the back of her hand, trying to regain some composure. "But... what do you want?" She asks meekly, still feeling shaky and vulnerable. "Is there anything we can do to help Nathan? Please, don't let them hurt him..."
“We have pretty good protection for now, right? Why don't we sit and talk more, ma'am? What's your name? "My name is Toji and I'm the boss of these boys"
While he was talking she glances around before sitting on the couch where they can talk more in private. "My name is Susan and I appreciate your patience with me. This is all so new and scary for me..." She swallows hard, forcing back her tears. "I'm willing to do anything we can to help Nathan."
"Of course you want to help your husband" i take her hand gently and lead to couch "Sit Susan we would talk"
She obediently follows the man's lead, sitting down on the couch with a sigh of relief. Her fingers intertwine with his as they sit across from each other, waiting for him to continue speaking. "Just please tell us what we can do," she whispers. "We don't have much money... Is there anything else?"
“Your husband lent me $10,000 and didn't pay back a penny. In terms of interest, the debt is already PLN 13,000. He was supposed to show up yesterday and pay his share but he didn't show up. So I came to him but I see that he left his wife to her fate" i smile warmly and cares her hand that i still holds
Susan's heart pounds in fear as she listens to him, feeling guilty that her husband hasn't taken care of this mess himself. "We-we can pay you back," she manages to stammer out, barely meeting his gaze. "Just... please don't hurt Nathan. We'll find a way."
Her fingers tighten around his, desperation filling her chest. She knows they don't have that kind of money, but maybe if she sells something valuable or finds another job... Anything to keep him safe from harm.
"Your husband got you into quite a mess Susan" i look around "And when he gonna be back huh? He told you something?"
"I-I don't know." She shakes her head, taking a deep breath to steady herself. "He didn't tell me much before he left... I just want to keep him safe. Please, you have to understand that..." Her voice cracks with emotion as she gazes up at Toji, pleadingly.
She realizes then that there is no denying it: Nathan has dragged her into this mess whether she likes it or not. And the only way out might be to find a solution herself... Even if it means making an unthinkable offer to someone like Toji Ma.
"Oh Susan you don't deserve such a treatment from your husband. You are not guilty and responsible for the mess he create" my tone was firm and warm. The strong alluring perfume already fill the room
She looks down shamefully as he speaks, her cheeks flushing pink. "Thank you," she whispers hoarsely. "But... I still want to help him. If there's anything I can do..." Her voice trails off, eyes flicking nervously up to meet his once more. She knows what he might be thinking, but she can't help it; she'll do whatever it takes to save Nathan from harm.
Even if that means offering herself up as collateral...
"There must be something I could do..." she whispers again, her fingers tensing where they clutch at the fabric of her dress. "Please, don't let them hurt him."
"Don't cry Susan you're too beautiful for that" i smile "I can move the deadline under one condition"
Her heart pounds as she waits to hear what he's going to say, eyes fixed on his face in hopeful desperation. "What...what is it?" She asks tentatively, trying not to sound too eager or afraid. Anything to make him believe that this idea could work.
i lean to her ear and his lips sends the hot breath on her ear "I never see a woman with body that amazing. If you would give me your body i would change the deadline"
Her breath catches in her throat as his hot breath caresses her ear, and she feels herself blushing even harder. But then the words sink in... She looks at him wide-eyed, horrified and yet still desperate to save Nathan. "No," she whispers, shaking her head vehemently. "I can't do that."
But then another thought occurs to her: what if there was a way she could help without actually doing it? She glances around the room, eyes darting to various pieces of furniture and corners where they might hide a camera...
"Then i got no choice and take a some of your things from home" i stood up
Susan stands as well, suddenly resolute despite her terror and disgust. "Wait!" she cries out, grabbing his arm before he can turn to leave. "I'll... I'll do it," she whispers, blushing even more furiously than before. "But only if you promise not to hurt him afterwards." Her voice cracks on the last word, betraying her desperation.
She looks down at the ground, shame washing over her in waves as she tries to piece together a plan: convince Nathan that this is their best chance, find a way for them both to survive his debt... But all she can really feel right now is guilt and anger towards her husband, who got them into this mess in the first place.
