After another yelling match between Leona and Lisa about Lisa's future, the three of you sit in silence as you eat dinner. This was nothing new, fights like this practically happened every day. The silence was nice until Lisa stood up from the table
Lisa: "I don't get it. Why can't you just let me do what I want?" she questioned, eyes narrowing down at Leona.
Leona: She takes a sip of her drink before leaning back in her chair with her arms crossed. "I don't want to see my daughter, prancing across a stage like some common loser." Her eyes narrowed into a glare "You will join the company whether you like it or not. Now sit back down and eat." her tone, slightly harsh as she drops the topic. The three of you return to eat in silence
i sighs and eat my meal "Can you two stop arguing at least when we eat dinner together? I want to have a lovely dinner with my wife and daughter in peace"
A small smile twitches on her lips as she glances at GoJo. She knows he has no choice in this matter but to stay out of it. It's always been like that, him standing back and letting her take care of the 'heavy lifting'. A chuckle escapes her lips "Sorry, my love." Her eyes move back to Lisa before she continues speaking, her tone slightly softer now "I only want what's best for you, sweetheart. You know that."
Lisa: "But i want to be idol Mom. I don't like the work you and father do at all. I grateful for your all work you two put into your business but it's nothing what i want. And i don't undestand why you don't let me be who i want to be" Lisa play with her meal on plate
"It is your father's and my company, dear. We built it from nothing while sacrificing everything just so that you could have the best life possible." Her voice grows stern again. "And part of that 'best life', in our eyes, means becoming an important member of Moreno Corp." She pauses, taking a moment to gather her thoughts before continuing softly. "But I am willing to make some concessions... Perhaps if you were to join the company and prove yourself dedicated, I might reconsider your dream afterward."
i stood up and take my plate. My voice was bitter and angry "You fight again even if i told you two to stop. I going to my study room and expect not to be bothered by either of you. I'm disappointed in both of you" i leave the living room and goes to my study room Lisa: "See and now father is angry at us. Its your fault again" Lisa use angry voice
Cold eyes meet Lisa's through narrowed lids as she responds with equal frustration. "Your father is not angry at me. He knows I am trying to protect you." Her voice hardens, "As for it being my fault... perhaps if you hadn't insisted on this ridiculous notion of dancing and singing instead of focusing on your duties as heiress, he wouldn't be so upset."
"You should apologize," she growls, "to both of us. Then maybe we can discuss this like rational adults."
Lisa: "Apologize for what? For going after my dream when i got opportunity? To use my talents as i wish? You are ridiculous and you know Father is supporting my dreams not like you" she rose her voice
"You dare speak to me that way in front of your father?!" Leona snaps, her eyes narrowing dangerously. "You are a child, acting like this is some game!" She pauses, taking a deep breath before continuing with icy calm, "You will apologize right now, or you can leave this house and live on the streets with your pathetic dreams."
Her glare never leaves Lisa's face as she waits for an answer.
Lisa stood up and turned to the door Lisa: "Then I would choose to live on the streets if you don't want me here" Lisa leaves, slamming the door. I'm getting out of mine study room "What was that screams about again?"
Her eyes flicker over to GoJo as he leaves the study room. "I don't know what you mean," she replies coolly. "It seems Lisa is just a bit upset that I am trying to protect her from throwing away her future on some frivolous dreams."
Her expression softens, becoming almost pitying as she turns back to GoJo. "You should talk with her, dear. Perhaps you can make her see reason where I have failed."
“Then why did she slam the door so loudly? Be honest, Leona. What did you tell her?” I look at Leona with a drilling look
Her face betrays nothing as she meets his gaze calmly. "I merely pointed out that her behavior was inappropriate. I would expect the same level of respect from both you and her." She pauses, tilting her head slightly to the side. "Perhaps if we all discuss this as a family, we can reach some sort of compromise."
"Lisa may be young," Leona continues carefully, "but she is not without worth. We should show her that we care for her future just as much as she does."
i stood behind Leona and wrap my arms around her from behind "Darling please be more cautious of your words you talk with Lisa. I heard what you and she said clearly even about living on street"
Her body tenses slightly at his touch, but Leona remains still and impassive as she responds with cool logic. "I apologize if my words have come across harshly, my love. It is only because I wish for her to succeed in life, just like we do. But perhaps," she pauses, considering his advice carefully, "perhaps you are right, and I should reconsider my approach."
Her shoulders relax a fraction as she leans back into GoJo's embrace, gratitude washing over her features briefly before vanishing once more beneath the mask of calm control. "Let us talk this through together and see if there is some middle ground we can reach."
"But don't think you gonna pass me without scolding. That works was to harsh even if you were really. angry at her. I'm so disappointed that you these words" i kiss her forehead
"I understand," she murmurs, voice quiet and subdued. "You have every right to be disappointed in me." A small sigh escapes her lips as she considers her words more carefully before speaking again. "Perhaps I should find a way to show Lisa how much I care for her future without making it seem like an empty threat... Something that shows her the love and support we both want to give, even if it's not in the form she desires."
"Why you so against it for her to try become idol? I understand you see them as fools that more have fun than work but still" i look at her from her shoulder
"Because idols are nothing but a distraction," she says with disdain. "They live in the spotlight while others work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep them there. They take the credit for others' efforts and reap all of the benefits without ever having to suffer any of the consequences."
Her words come out sharp, her voice hardening as she continues speaking with renewed vehemence. "I have seen it happen time and again; a promising career squandered on stage antics and meaningless flirtations. I will not allow my daughter's future to be tarnished in such a way."
"I understand you view dear. But it's her life not out even if we mean good for her. I don't see it in bright colors either" i kiss her cheek "But it's your daughter i want to support her dreams even if the are silly in our opinion"
"Perhaps you're right," she murmurs reluctantly. "After all, it is her life. But I still wish for her to find happiness in a more... substantial way." She pauses, contemplating his words thoughtfully before sighing. "Very well. If this is what she truly desires..." Her voice trails off as she mulls over the possibility of compromise. "I will not stand in her way," she finally says with determination, looking at GoJo expectantly. "But only if she agrees to make me a part of it."
A small smile tugs at her lips as an idea begins to form in her mind. Perhaps there is a way for Lisa to have both the life she desires and the future Leona knows she deserves... With GoJo's support, anything is possible.
"Of course dear i don't see why you can't be her manager for example" i smile "I would look for her and bring her home okey?"
Her eyes narrow slightly at the thought but she quickly masks it with what she hopes is an encouraging smile. "That's a wonderful idea, my love. If Lisa agrees to it, I would be honored to help guide her career and ensure that she succeeds not only as an idol, but also as your daughter."
A plan begins to form in Leona's mind; one where Lisa can have her dreams while still being part of their family business. With GoJo's support and encouragement, there may yet be a way for everyone to get what they want without anyone getting hurt or losing sight of their goals.
i bury my lips on her neck "We can still try to have another heir of our big corporation"
Leona chuckles softly, her lips brushing against his neck as she speaks. "Perhaps in time," she says noncommittally. For now, the more immediate issue at hand was finding a way to convince Lisa that this plan could work for all of them. But it would have to wait until they located their daughter and had a chance to explain everything.
With renewed determination, Leona pushes away from GoJo and heads toward the door. "Let's find her," she says decisively. "We have much to discuss and arrangements to make."
i take the keyes and we drive around city looking for Lisa
"Lisa! Stop!" Leona shouts, finally spotting their daughter walking down the street. "Come here this instant!" Her voice holds a note of command that even at a distance can't be ignored; it's the same tone she uses with her employees and subordinates alike. She glances back at GoJo before adding, "I will deal with her."
Her posture tenses as they draw closer to Lisa, their daughter's defiant expression and furious glare causing a flash of annoyance to flicker through the normally calm surface of Leona's anger. But she forces herself to remain composed; this was too important for petty emotion. It was time for logic and reason to take center stage.
"Leona, let's just approach her calmly... No need to shout." I step out the car and walk to Lisa slowly while she turn around facing us "Lisa, sweetheart we just want to talk."
Cold eyes narrow as Leona steps out of the car beside her husband. "I apologize for shouting," she says icily, attempting to keep her voice calm and controlled despite the turmoil within. "It is only because I am concerned for your safety." She pauses, meeting Lisa's defiant gaze with a stern glare of her own. "Come now, we have much to discuss about your future."
Lisa: "I won't come home. I going to follow my dreams if you approve it or not" she said coldly
Cold amusement flickers across Leona's features as Lisa announces her decision. "Very well," she replies calmly. "If that is what you truly wish, then you leave us no choice but to bring you home by force." She glances at GoJo before continuing, her voice hardening. "There are ways of ensuring one's safety while following their dreams; stubbornness and defiance will not serve you well in this situation."
The threat hangs heavy in the air as Leona watches Lisa closely for any signs of wavering.
"We won't use any kind of force my dear Leona" i look at her with earring look and then turns to Lisa "Lisa honey i understand that you want to follow your dreams. I really want to help you. I apoligize insted of your Mother you knew she is sometimes hard to aproche and very strict but we really want to talk about compromies about your dream"
Leona raises an eyebrow at Gojo's words but says nothing, content to let him handle the situation. She crosses her arms over her chest, still watching Lisa intently as she listens to her husband speak.
"You are a talented girl," GoJo continues, "and I believe you can achieve great things in life, whether it be as an idol or by staying closer to home." He pauses, seeming to search for the right words before adding earnestly, "I only want what's best for you, Lisa. Please don't shut us out; let's talk about this together and find a solution that works for everyone involved."
"I had talk with your Mother and we want to support your dream with our hearts and of course our money. But you need to accept your mother as manager of your carrera"
The muscles in Leona's arms tense slightly at the mention of her accepting Lisa as an idol, but she forces herself to remain still and impassive. Her gaze shifts between Gojo and Lisa, waiting for their reaction to her suggestion. If they agree... perhaps there is a way for this situation to work out after all.
A small smile plays at the corners of Leona's lips as she waits hopefully, her expression softening fractionally despite her best efforts to maintain control. "Perhaps we can discuss specific terms later," she says carefully, "but I think that would be a suitable arrangement."
Lisa: "You really mean it? You would let me have my dream and support it?" she look at Leona
"I am willing to give you the chance to prove yourself," Leona says, her voice still cool and controlled but with less accusation than before. "If you can manage to succeed as both an idol and a Moreno heiress, then perhaps I may reconsider my initial stance." She pauses, meeting Lisa's gaze head-on. "But do not think this is some sort of free pass; I expect you to work harder than anyone else if you want to succeed in both endeavors."
Her expression softens slightly as she continues, a hint of reluctant pride gleaming in her eyes. "After all, you are still my daughter. And no matter what path you choose, I will always support you and be proud of the woman you become."
