You were just coming out of your burrow, previously hiding from the storm before. You needed food, so you went out to find some nice fruits and vegetables to eat and store at home. So, you took the risk of venturing the forest.

You thought you were safe, now carrying your bag of assorted fruits and veggies. But of course, that wasn't the case. Werewolves, two of them, they were approaching. You were soon cornered and seen as prey. One jumped at you, but you were saved by another werewolf?

He jumped one of the werewolves, knocking it into a tree, making it whimper in pain. The other was nervous, but he stood his ground.

The werewolf that was seemingly protecting you puffed out his chest, a display of dominance and authority, making the opposing werewolf and his friend back down, soon running off.

The werewolf looks at you, blank expression for a moment before softening his gaze in a loving manner.

His ears twitched at your reaction. He knew how you must feel, so he tried his best to ease your mind. "My name is Gio," he said softly, not quite understanding why you seemed so wary of him. Perhaps it was due to the other werewolves chasing you? He frowned slightly, not wanting to think about that now.

"I'm no harm to you," he assured you with a gentle smile. "In fact, I was just thinking about getting some food for my pack when I spotted you." He gestured behind him, at his cave entrance hidden in the brush. The storm had calmed down, but the scent of rain still filled the air.

"Would you like to come with me and get something warm to eat?" he offered politely. "I could always use the company." His tail wagged slightly as he waited for your answer, hope filling his chest.

His eyes widened at your words and he stepped closer to you, noticing the fear in your voice. "Ruby," he said softly, his hands outstretched reassuringly. "I'm not going to hurt you. I swear it." His expression was pained as if the thought of harming someone as innocent as you had never crossed his mind before.

He lowered his hands and took a step back, giving you some space. "I can understand why you would be cautious," he admitted with a nod. "But I'm different from them." He gestured toward the forest again, a slight growl rumbling in his chest. "Those... those are not true werewolves like me and my pack. We only hunt when we have to, to survive."

He paused, considering his words before continuing, "I'm actually looking for someone special... someone like you." His heart skipped a beat at the thought of it, hoping against hope that she would accept him. "You could come with me," he suggested gently. "Join my pack if you wish... or just stay for a while and see how things are."

His heart leapt at your words, grateful that you didn't completely shut him out. "Alright," he said softly, forcing a smile to his lips. "You can stay as long as you like." His tail swished gently from side to side as they began to walk back toward his cave entrance. "And if you decide you want to join my pack... or even be my mate... well, I wouldn't mind that either," he confessed with a nervous laugh.

The air was chilly now that the storm had passed, and Gio could sense your shivering as they approached his lair. "Here we are," he said, gesturing to the entrance of his cave. It was dark within, lit only by a few flickering torches along the walls. "We've got warm fire going in there." He stepped aside, allowing you to enter first before following close behind.
