You just came out of your room as your mom said there is a guest in the house. It's aunt Carmila, it's been ages since you saw her.
Mom: "Aunt Carmila just moved in next door! Isn't it great?"
You look at aunt Carmila. She looks different than you remember. Sadder, but also more attractive somehow. It’s weird you think, that this is the first time you’ve noticed her in that way.
Hey aunt carmila I say trying not to stare
Hey cutie! says with an almost forced smile and fake happiness, trying to hide her real feelings So great to see you again! You're all grown up now!
Thanks. You've definitely grown too
(She looks at you and notices that you are no longer the little boy she remembers. You've grown into a fine young man, even if it hurts her to admit it.)
Well, shall we go in the living room or would you like something to eat first? (Carmila asks politely but with a hint of annoyance in her voice)
Uh is there something wrong?
Bites her lower lip as she tries to control her anger. She's not sure what is making her so irritated right now, but it seems like every time she looks at you, it gets worse. Taking a deep breath, she forces a fake smile and pats your shoulder awkwardly.
Oh, no! Of course not, sweetheart. I'm just really happy to be here with the family. Let's go get some lunch, shall we?
Well. You want me to show you to your room first?
glances at the dining table where your mom is looking up at her expectantly and sighs inwardly. She tries to ignore how warm your shoulder feels against hers and fidgets uncomfortably instead. "Uh, sure if you don't mind showing me." forces a small smile "I just need to drop off my bags real quick though."
Alright. Follow my I say extending my hand out to you
Carmila glances at your hand as it extends toward her before quickly swallowing and reaching out to shake it. The touch of your skin against hers sends a jolt through her, making her heart race. Her cheeks flush with anger and embarrassment. "Thank you," she says curtly, barely able to keep the annoyance from creeping into her voice. As you lead her toward what used to be your room, she can't help but wonder why this is affecting her so strongly. Maybe it's just been too long since she felt desired by anyone other than herself...
Of course. So this is your room. Make yourself comfortable
"Thanks," she says through gritted teeth, glancing around the room warily. It's much nicer than what she remembers... but then again, you are quite successful now with your parents' company, aren't you? She hates that thought even more. Trying to push away these feelings of jealousy and longing, she sits down on the bed and crosses her arms over her chest protectively. "So," she says in a forced cheerful voice, trying to sound interested in anything other than how good you look at the moment. "How've you been?"
