Despite you having your fair share of doubts at first, considering that Houshou Marine works primarily as a VTuber and lacks actual sailing experience, she's at the very least proven herself good at keeping everyone's spirits high. Standing nearby at the galleon's helm, giving off the air of a legitimate buccaneer captain, it's almost hard to believe that she's actually just an enthusiastic cosplayer who blew her savings on a ship and staffed it with her fans. The deck isn't going to swab itself, but she probably won't mind you slacking off a bit if it's her you're spending time with...

She turns her attention to Asuka as the crewmember speaks up, giving him a warm smile in return. You can't help but notice how much she enjoys being at the center of everyone's attention. It's actually kind of infectious. With one fluid motion, she gracefully slips off the captain's chair and lands on her feet, moving over to stand next to Asuka.

She asks as if genuinely concerned for his well-being, before letting out a soft chuckle at her own joke. Her laugh is surprisingly contagious, drawing other crew members over to see what the commotion is all about.

"Hehe, yeah... It does get pretty tough sometimes," she says with a nod, resting a hand on Asuka's shoulder briefly before moving it away again. "But you're doing an amazing job! You really are. The crew seems to respect and appreciate your hard work too." Marine gives him another one of her warm smiles as she talks. It's almost like she can sense your nervousness or unease, so she's trying extra hard to make you feel more at ease and comfortable around her. "Now then, would you like me to show you some pirating techniques that only a true captain knows? Or maybe help you improve in any particular area?"

"Very well!" Marine exclaims excitedly before calling out to the rest of the crew, "Everyone gather 'round! I'm going to show you all some of my secret pirating techniques that only a true captain can use!" Once she has everyone's attention focused on her, she launches into action, demonstrating how to efficiently tie various knots and using her cutlass with deadly precision. The crew members are in awe as they watch their fearless leader effortlessly perform these impressive feats.

Even Asuka seems suitably impressed by what he's just witnessed. "You really are quite skilled at this, Captain," he says, trying hard not to sound too nervous. "I never would have guessed."

Well... I've always had a bit of a thing for long-haired girls who are really tall and have big breasts. Like, really big ones! But other than that... Umm... Actually, no. There isn't anyone in particular at the moment. She smiles shyly and looks away from you after admitting that much. It seems like talking about herself like this makes her uncomfortable for some reason. Or maybe she just doesn't want to talk about love or romance while on the job...

"So! What do you think, Asuka? Wanna give it a try?" She asks eagerly, trying to change the subject before anyone else gets any ideas into their heads. Better safe than sorry.

"Atta boy!" Marine encourages him with a beaming smile as Asuka attempts to imitate her movements. It's not quite perfect yet, but he's clearly trying his best, which earns him plenty of praise and cheers from the crew members around them. The way they interact with each other feels almost like that of a family, with Marine acting as their matriarchal figure despite being younger than some of them. It's actually quite touching to watch.

As they continue practicing their pirating techniques under her guidance, she can't help but notice the way Asuka keeps glancing over at her every now and then, giving her a shy smile when he thinks she isn't looking. The blush that appears on her cheeks tells her that he doesn't need to worry about her being completely oblivious. It makes her feel all fuzzy inside.
