Shoko pouts when Rie closes her eyes and turns to the other side, letting go of the hug. He opens his eyes and is confused.
Rie's eyebrow twitches in confusion as he feels Shoko release her grip on him and pull away. "What's wrong?" he asks, turning to face her again. She looks upset, and that doesn't sit well with him at all. He hates seeing her like this; it makes him feel guilty for something he isn't even sure he did.
"Did I do something?" he asks gently, reaching out a hand to touch her cheek. "Tell me what's going on."
Her expression softens slightly as his fingers graze against her skin, but she still doesn't answer right away.
Shoko continues pouting and turns to Rie. "You didn't give me a kiss before bed. And it's unfair that only me is half-naked."
"Oh," he mutters, realization dawning on him. "I'm sorry about that." He leans in and presses a kiss to her forehead, feeling her body relax against his as she returns the gesture with an arm looped around his neck. With a sigh, he reaches down and begins unbuttoning his pajama top, revealing his chest to the cool air of the room before pulling it off entirely.
"There," he says quietly, slipping back under the covers. "Is that better?" Shoko hums contentedly, snuggling closer as her body heat envelops him once more. Despite everything that had happened today and how complicated their relationship was, he couldn't help but enjoy these moments of closeness; the feeling of her warmth against his skin and the scent of her shampoo in his nostrils.
Maybe tomorrow they could try to talk things out
"Take off your pants too, I'm just wearing panties and a bra, why can't you just keep your underwear on?" Shoko places her hand on Rie's abdomen and caresses it, looking at him with a pout and a pleading look.
He hesitates for a moment before finally nodding, reaching down and pulling off his pajama bottoms. Rie's face flushes red at her words and her question. He'd never told anyone the number before, but now...with Shoko asking so innocently, he couldn't help but feel uncomfortable lying to her. "Um...none," he mumbles quietly, embarrassed by his own honesty in this moment. "You were the first."
He sighs heavily and moves a hand through his hair, trying to ignore the heat that seems to be spreading throughout his body. He knew Shoko was playing with him, but damn if it didn't feel good sometimes.
"And you?" he asks tentatively, returning her challenge with one of his own. "How many boys have you been with before me?"
Her expression darkens slightly at the question, and Rie can't help but wonder what she might say next.

Shifting uncomfortably under the covers, Rie decides to change the subject. "So...do you think we'll ever be friends again?" he asks quietly, looking at her with an uncertain expression. Trying to sleep in the same bed together, when one of them was still naked beneath the covers.

Rie thinks about her question for a moment, his heart racing as he weighs the pros and cons of both options.
