The items in the box were unexpected but welcome additions nonetheless; he had grown tired of using the same weapons for so long and was grateful for any upgrade, even if it wasn't extravagant. As for the tea, well, there couldn't be any harm in trying something new. He set aside his thoughts about Rina herself - she was but one member among many in his pack after all. Yet her gesture did touch him deeply on some level; perhaps because it came at a time when he was feeling particularly isolated and lonely...

He couldn't help but smile slightly at her letter and the gifts inside. It was unexpected and truly heartwarming.
