Kana sprinted through the forest on all fours, her face splattered with red blood, she growled as she rapidly looked around the forest before eventually slamming into a person headfirst, grunting before she looked up at them with wild eyes, growling as she slowly backs up, looking ready to pounce and attack them at any moment, her tails standing up straight as she digs her claws into the soil
I crouch and gently reach a hand out .....it okay.....my scratchy voice rings out
Growl! Kana steps closer and sniffs the hand before swiping at it roughly with a paw, almost knocking it out of the way, hissing as she backs up further Stay away from me human!
I reach my hand out
Kana hisses again and swipes at the hand even harder, almost making contact but falling short as she backs up some more Stay away! I'm warning you!
I move closer and bring her close to me you like me....I show my forearm and she can see I have numbers on it like her
Her eyes widen as she stares at the numbers on your arm, her body tenses before she snarls and swipes at you again, claws digging into your skin. "Don't touch me!" She hisses through gritted teeth, struggling against your grip.
I hug her and rub her back shhh.....safe...here...
"Safe?" She sputters, stiffening even further in your embrace as she glares at you with defiance and mistrust. "There's no safe place for me anymore." The words are bitter on her tongue, her anger and fear making it hard for her to believe any comfort or kindness could be genuine.
I then get an idead and run on all fours like a chimp come!....come I disappear into the bushes
Kana hesitates before slowly following you into the bushes, her tail held low and her hackles raised in suspicion. The sounds of the forest fade away as she focuses on your movements ahead of her, ready to dart back out if need be. But for now, curiosity and a strange sort of curiosity propel her forward into the darkness of the undergrowth.
we reach a grove of massive red woods trees and she looks up and see's a hut built on the side of one as I scale the tree with no problem
As she steps into the clearing, Kana's eyes widen in awe at the towering redwood trees surrounding her and the cozy little hut built into one of them. She glances back at you, unused to seeing anyone scale such heights so effortlessly, then turns her attention back upwards to study your ascent. Her curiosity burning brighter than ever, she begins to pant softly in anticipation of what awaits her at the top.
as I reach my hut I throw down a rope
Eagerly, Kana watches you scale the tree and throws you a questioning glance as she sees you toss down a rope. Her curiosity is nearly tangible as she steps forward and takes hold of it in her claws, testing its strength before deciding to trust it enough to use. Slowly but surely, she begins to climb hand-over-hand up the rough surface of the rope, the muscles in her legs and back tensing as she hauls herself higher with each movement. Her eyes never leave the hut ahead of her, excitement building in her chest with every foot gained.
as she reaches my hut high in the trees I am sitting on a chair...well crouching on it
As she reaches the hut's threshold, Kana pauses to catch her breath, her chest rising and falling rapidly beneath her matted fur. Her eyes adjust swiftly to the dim light inside, taking in the simple yet comfortable-looking furnishings and quaint little decorations. The sudden quiet after the noisy climb only serves to make her more alert, if that's even possible. With a final heave of breath, she steps fully into the hut and turns to face you, her body tensing as she assesses your presence once again.
I have an apple in my mouth and toss her one
She eyes the apple warily before snatching it out of the air with lightning-fast reflexes, barely missing swiping your hand in the process. Her muscles tense as she clenches her fangs into the fruit, not quite trusting you enough to eat it without some semblance of protection. She watches you carefully from beneath lowered brows, her expression a mixture of suspicion and curiosity.
me ape....I point to myself then to her...what you?
Her eyes flick between you and the apple in her hands before finally settling on your face once more. "I'm just a cat," she says softly, as if unsure whether or not to believe it herself. Her posture remains tense, ready to strike out at any sign of aggression or threat. But despite her defiance and fear, there's something in the way she regards you that hints at an inner turmoil she hasn't quite come to terms with yet.
I stand and hoot a little bit as I playfully jump around
Kana watches your playful antics with both curiosity and suspicion. Her body starts to loosen up slightly as she starts to purr softly, tail wagging slowly back and forth behind her. It's a strange mix of familiarity and fear that courses through her veins as she observes you; part of her wants to trust the easygoing demeanor you display, while another part remains on guard, ready for any sign of danger or betrayal. She takes a step forward, closer to you, still clutching the apple tightly in one paw as if it's her only source of safety.
just then a lizard climbs into my hut, I stare at the lizard before I run over to it and slam my fists repeatedly on its head killing it
Her eyes widen in surprise and fear at the sudden violence, flinching as she watches you kill the lizard with such force. For a moment, her instinct to attack or run is replaced by confusion and horror. She looks down at the bloody remains of the lizard before finally bringing her gaze back up to meet yours again, searching for some sign of understanding or comfort in your expression. Her breath comes faster, her heart racing as she questions whether or not she's made a mistake in trusting you even this little bit.
I then poke the lizlard before I clamp my jaws on its neck and drag it inside
Kana flinches again as she watches you poke and then kill the lizard, uncertainty gnawing at her gut. The act feels so foreign to her; instinct tells her that she should be the one hunting, the one in control. Yet here she is, watching you effortlessly dispatch prey with seemingly little thought or emotion. A pang of envy touches her chest as she studies your movements, wondering if she'll ever feel truly free again...
