Anticipation buzzed in the Wayne family's dining room as they awaited their new sibling. Around the table, they chatted animatedly, readying themselves for the change. They knew it might be a journey, but their commitment to the newcomer's well-being was resolute. The doorbell rang, Bruce, the family's head, stood up. He exchanged a look with his sons, a silent pact evident. He strode to the door, ensuring his appearance was neat before opening it. On the other side, a social worker and their new sibling stood. "Hello, Mr. Wayne. Can we enter?" the social worker asked, holding a suitcase. Bruce's warmth shone as he welcomed them in.
Behind him, the Wayne family stood, hearts open and arms ready to embrace the newest member. Unbeknownst to you, a fierce protectiveness had taken hold within each of them. Their goal was clear: to stand by you, unflinchingly, in the face of any challenge.
The Young boy behind the social worker walked slowly and stiffly. His eyes gazed across the room, avoiding any kind of eye contact
The moment Bruce closed the door behind them, Jason's eyes narrowed as they fixed on their new sibling, scanning every inch of his small form, searching for signs of weakness. Damian clung tightly to Bruce's leg, a feral glint in his eyes that belied his young age. Dick moved closer, offering a reassuring smile and outstretched hand. Tim fidgeted beside him, unable to mask the concern etched onto his features. Bruce noticed it all, his heart swelling with love and protection for each of them as they welcomed you into their family...and their lives.
"Well," he said finally, "I believe we're all here. Shall we make introductions?" He gestured around the room at each member of the bat family in turn before asking, "What shall I call you?"
You can call me Liza! It's nice to meet you. Liza put his hand out offering a fist bump
Dick was the first one to step forward, his expression softening as he took your offered hand and returned the fist-bump gently. "Nice to meet you too, Liza. My name is Richard, but most people just call me Dick." He flashed another warm smile, the corner of his eyes crinkling in amusement. "Or sometimes I get called 'Nightwing'. But don't tell anyone, okay? That's my secret identity."
Jason remained wary, staying close to his father. He eyed you warily but didn't say anything, instead giving you an almost imperceptible nod. Damian stepped forward next, tossing back his hair with dramatic flair. "Ah, yes. I am Damian, heir to the Wayne fortune. You may call me Master or Lord, whichever you prefer." The bratty smile that accompanied the statement made it clear that this choice was meant to be a test.
Um ok, Master! Liza quickly bowed down as Damian snickered to himself
Tim blushed brightly, shifting uncomfortably on his feet before muttering shyly, "You can call me Tim if you want...Or Jason, if you think I'm prettier than him." He pointed vaguely at Jason, who pretended not to notice and busied himself examining his fingernails instead. Bruce smiled reassuringly at Liza and then looked around at his family members, a fondness in his eyes that suggested they could not have chosen a better group to surround their new sibling.
"Well," he said at last, clapping his hands together, "why don't we go get settled into your room? There are a few more introductions we need to make..."
As he led you away towards one of the many wings of the manor, the others trailed after, still getting acquainted with you and determining exactly how much attention and protection you might require. They all had their methods, but the one thing they had in common was an ironclad devotion to keeping you safe at all costs.
Bruce stops in front of a room and opens the door So, I guess this is my room. It's very clean and pretty. Liza softly says as he stares in awe
Bruce smiled warmly, gesturing inside. "It is rather nice, isn't it? Why don't you take some time to get settled in while we put everything else away? We can help if you'd like." He paused, shooting quick glances at each of his sons, conveying unspoken messages with each movement. Though none seemed to notice, each subtly acknowledged Bruce's silent directive.
They would watch over Liza, making sure no harm came to him. They would protect him at all costs, even if that meant being a bit too possessive, overbearing, or controlling. For now, though, they could afford to be patient. They would bide their time, waiting for the perfect moment to assert their dominance...their yandere nature.
Liza carefully entered the room and settled his stuff down. Bruce carefully shut the door as Liza explored the room
Jason, his eyes still fixed on Liza's every move, muttered under his breath, "I bet he thinks he can just come in here and act like he owns the place..." Damian rolled his eyes but didn't contradict him. He'd been planning on bringing up that very point later. Dick idly drummed his fingers against a nearby table, trying not to let himself get too worked up about it. For now, they had to be patient. But soon...sooner rather than later, Liza would learn his place in the family hierarchy.
A couple of days pass and Liza starts to grow slightly softer toward them. Liza still doesn't feel comfortable around them as he feels that they're hiding something
Despite their overt displays of affection and protection, the bat family's subtle deceit continued. They would sneak away when they thought no one was watching, whispering plans among themselves that could only be described as malevolent. The reason for their duplicity? A self-proclaimed need to shield you from harm, but in reality, it was just another excuse to exert control over your life. Their true colors began to show more often now, hints of the darker side of their yandere natures peeking out like twisted blades of grass through a freshly fallen autumn leaf.
They knew that if they revealed themselves too soon, it might frighten you away...and so they continued to play their games, hoping against hope that one day you'd come to accept and embrace their "love" as genuine. But for now, they could only bide their time, watching you closely from the corners of their eyes, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
One day, Liza walks to his room and starts to think to himself for a long amount of time. Time passes by quickly as he ponders to himself
The bat family members exchanged glances as they noticed Liza's unusual silence and prolonged stay in his room. They grew increasingly uneasy, unsure of what was going through his mind. Jason narrowed his eyes suspiciously, convinced that something sinister must be afoot. Damian simply crossed his arms, looking decidedly smug as if he already knew the answer and was simply waiting for Liza to make a mistake. Dick, however, seemed more concerned than anything else. He couldn't help but wonder what had set off this particular chain of events...and how it would all play out in the end.
Is this the life I really want? I feel way too paranoid Liza softly whispers to himself as he returns to his thoughts
Jason paused mid-step, cocking his head slightly as he listened intently to Liza's whispered words. His eyes narrowed further, a look of intense concentration on his face. Was he imagining things, or did he just hear something? Damian, sensing his brother's sudden shift in demeanor, glanced over at him with curiosity. His gaze flickered towards Liza's room before returning to Jason, a puzzled expression etched onto his features. But before either of them could react further, Bruce cleared his throat loudly, drawing their attention back to him.
"Why don't we all go out for dinner tonight?" he suggested casually, shooting a meaningful glance at Liza. "It'd be nice to get out of the manor for a change." The others nodded in agreement, their expressions unreadable as they waited to see how Liza would respond.
Um, ok. I guess that's cool Liza says before getting off his bed and quickly walking outside of the room. He follows behind Bruce. His legs slightly tremble as he follows behind them
The sound of rustling paper followed by muffled whispers reached Liza's ears as he trailed after Bruce, careful not to make eye contact with any of his new "family members." A sense of unease crept up his spine as he wondered what exactly they were plotting behind his back. It was clear they had secrets; he just needed to figure out what they were and why they were keeping them from him. For now, though, playing along might be the best course of action. After all, ignorance is bliss...or so he thought.
They enter the car and quickly drive to a restaurant. Liza's unease grows as he continues to ponder what are their intentions with him
Dick shifted uncomfortably in his seat as he glanced at Liza out of the corner of his eye, unable to shake the feeling that something wasn't right. Jason and Damian, on the other hand, seemed oblivious or simply didn't care, focusing instead on ordering food and making idle conversation. Bruce smiled politely at Liza whenever their eyes met but said nothing else, giving Dick the impression that he too was keeping something hidden. The entire situation made Dick increasingly nervous, and he couldn't help but worry about what would happen if they ever revealed themselves fully to Liza.
After they return back to the manor. Liza quickly walks back to his room as he feels more and more uneasy as he spends more time with them
Jason paused mid-step outside Liza's door, glancing over his shoulder at Damian and raising an eyebrow. His brother returned the look coolly before shrugging nonchalantly. "Let him be," he said with a sigh. "We can keep an eye on him from here."
Dick shifted uncomfortably, unsure if either of them was right or wrong in this situation. He knew something wasn't quite right about Liza, but the more they pushed him away, the more likely he'd investigate further and potentially stumble upon their secrets. They needed to tread carefully; too much pressure might drive him off before they had the chance to make him truly part of the family.
With a deep breath, Dick turned his attention back to Liza's room, watching as the handle slowly turned beneath his brother's grasp. He could only hope that Liza wouldn't try anything stupid like leaving or trying to contact anyone outside their control. For now, all they could do was wait and see what happened next.
Liza quickly hides under his covers as he notices one of their heads peeking out. He trembles in fear as he notices that he has zero privacy
Damian couldn't help but smirk as he saw Liza cower underneath the covers. "Oh, come now," he purred, cocking his head to the side, "Is our little boy frightened by big bad me?" He took another step closer, the delightfully wicked grin never leaving his face. Jason chuckled darkly, shaking his head at Damian's antics. "Leave him alone," he muttered, though it was clear his amusement wasn't entirely feigned. "He needs time to adjust."
Dick moved to stand beside Jason, shooting Damian an exasperated look. "Yeah, because scaring the shit out of him is really helping with that," he grumbled, crossing his arms over his chest. "We should give him some space, let him feel more comfortable before we..." His voice trailed off as Bruce gave him a meaningful look. Clearly, there was more going on here than met the eye; whatever plan they had involving Liza, it was better left unsaid for now.
The days pass and Liza grows more conscious and curious. Their true intentions slip out from time to time but Liza doesn't think much of it
While their true intentions were to keep Liza safe and under their watchful eye, they didn't realize that their overbearing behavior was making him feel suffocated and trapped. They had always been like this with each other, never trusting anyone else to take care of what they considered their responsibility. It was a strange form of love, one that bordered on possessiveness and control. But for them, it was simply the way they showed affection.
Damian would often tease Liza about his curiosity, saying that he should just accept things as they are and trust in them. Jason, on the other hand, would grow increasingly impatient when Liza didn't seem satisfied with their answers. Dick was somewhere in between; he understood Liza's need for space but also knew how important it was for him to feel part of something bigger than himself. Bruce always tried his best to mediate between them all, finding a balance that kept everyone mostly content while still ensuring that Liza didn't get too overwhelmed or upset.
In the end, they were just yandere brothers doing what they thought was best for their newfound sibling...but even they couldn't deny that there was room for improvement in their approach.
One day, Liza finally opens up to them, slowly and carefully he walks up to them
Jason raised an eyebrow as Liza slowly and carefully approached him, clearly unsure about how they would react. Damian, on the other hand, leaned forward with interest, sensing that there might be drama ahead. Bruce looked up from what he was doing and gave Liza a reassuring smile before standing to face him properly. "Yes, Liza?" he asked softly. "Is everything alright?" Dick glanced between them all warily, unsure of how to handle the situation himself but willing to lend an ear if needed. He knew that they had been a bit too overbearing at times; maybe this was their chance to finally understand Liza better and find a way for everyone to get along without pushing each other away.
Liza softly spoke to them as they stared at him. As more and more days pass, they plan ahead ready to be their real selves
Jason's eyes narrowed slightly as Liza spoke; his protective instincts kicking in immediately. Damian, on the other hand, looked surprised and confused, unsure what to make of Liza's words. Bruce sighed softly, understanding dawning on him slowly. Dick bit his lip nervously, torn between wanting to believe what Liza was saying and being wary of their new situation.
"We... appreciate your honesty, Liza," Bruce said finally, giving him a reassuring pat on the shoulder. "We'll take this into consideration." Jason merely nodded silently, his expression unreadable as he processed what had been said. Damian shrugged indifferently and turned away, as if already growing bored with the conversation. Dick exchanged glances with Bruce before speaking up.
"Look," he started carefully, "I think it's important that we talk about this... all of us." He gestured around at them, including Liza in his gesture. "We need to find a way for everyone to feel comfortable and respected, y'know?" Liza nodded uncertainly, not quite sure what was happening but willing to trust them for now. The air between them all seemed charged with tension and anticipation as they waited for someone else to speak up.
More and More days pass. With every passing day, Liza thinks to himself more and more often
The bond between them all strengthened as they slowly began to understand each other's needs and feelings. Bruce served as the mediator, ensuring that everyone's voices were heard and respected. Jason loosened his grip a little, allowing Liza more freedom while still keeping an eye on him. Damian grew used to Liza's presence, though he never fully accepted it nor did he seem to want to. Dick became more like a friendly older brother rather than just another yandere.
As the days turned into weeks and months, Liza found himself surprisingly content living with the bat family. They were not perfect by any means, but they were his family now. He knew that as long as he was with them, they would protect him from harm... even if sometimes their methods might seem a bit extreme or overbearing. And in return, Liza did his best to fit in and make them proud.
Eventually, he even began to think of them as his real family; the only family he'd ever known. It was a strange but satisfying feeling, knowing that they cared for him and wanted what was best for him. Even when things got rough or tense between them all, there was always an unspoken understanding that they were in this together.
Life with the bat family was far from perfect, but it was Liza's new normal. And despite everything, he couldn't help but feel grateful for the chance to be a part of something so... unique.
One day, they decide to reveal their true intentions. They know that they can reveal their real selves now that Liza has grown close to them
Jason crossed his arms over his chest, looking distinctly uncomfortable as Bruce began speaking. Damian, on the other hand, wore an amused expression. Dick shifted nervously from foot to foot beside Liza. The tension in the air thickened like an invisible blanket as each brother waited for the others to react. Despite being caught off guard by Liza's revelation, they had known all along that this moment would come eventually. Now, they had no choice but to face its consequences head-on.
As the silence stretched out, Jason cleared his throat before glancing at Liza. "Look, kid," he started, his voice gruff but gentle, "It may not have been the best way to go about things, but we only wanted what was best for you. We thought if we could show you... give you a taste of what life with us could be like..." He trailed off, searching for the right words.
Dick spoke up next, "We love you, Liza. And... we wanted to share that with you." His eyes met with Bruce's briefly before moving back to Liza. "But... I guess we should have given you more space, given you time to figure it out for yourself." There was a long pause before Damian added, almost mockingly, "Congratulations, little brother. You win. Now what do you want?"
What do I want? I don't know?!
Licking his lips nervously, Dick shifted his weight from foot to foot as he looked over at Liza expectantly. Bruce sighed softly and reached out to rest a hand on Jason's shoulder, giving him a reassuring squeeze before turning his attention back to Liza. Damian, still looking bored and unimpressed, crossed his arms over his chest once again, leaning against the wall behind him. The tension in the air was palpable as they waited for Liza to respond.
"I...," Liza began slowly, swallowing hard, "I just want... to be happy. And I want... to be loved too, I guess." There were a few moments of awkward silence before Jason let out a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding. "Well, kiddo, the good news is..." He hesitated before continuing, his voice softer now, "You already are."
I-I am? Are you sure that's true?
Jason reached out to pat Liza gently on the shoulder before nodding solemnly. "Of course we're sure." He glanced over at Damian briefly, who only shrugged in response. "We may have been a bit... overbearing sometimes," Jason admitted with a wry grin, "but that was only because we cared so much about you and wanted what was best for you."
Bruce stepped forward, placing a hand on Liza's other shoulder. "And as your brother..." he began before pausing, searching for the right words. Eventually, he settled on, "...we promise to do better. To try harder. To give you more space and freedom while still being there when you need us."
Dick nodded in agreement, smiling warmly at Liza. "I think... I think we all just want you to be happy. And if that means being apart sometimes," he glanced over at Damian again, "then so be it. But know this: no matter what, we'll always come back for you."
For a long moment, the brothers stood in silence, their hands still resting on Liza's shoulders as they waited for him to respond. It was then that Damian finally spoke up, his voice still sounding bored but less annoyed now. "Well, kid, it was nice having you around while it lasted." He shrugged and started to turn away before pausing and adding with a hint of sarcasm, "But I guess we can handle it if you're not that special after all."
Liza could feel the weight of their affection settle heavily on his shoulders; it was both comforting and overwhelming at the same time. But
Not special? What do you mean?
Damian raised an eyebrow and turned back to face Liza with a smirk. "I mean, if you're not as special as we thought, then..." He shrugged again. "You know... life goes on without you."
Jason rolled his eyes and let out a frustrated sigh while Bruce placed a hand on Damian's shoulder in what could have been an attempt to restrain him. "Damian," he said, voice calm but firm, "that wasn't very nice." The youngest Wayne glanced over at his father before turning back to Liza with a half-apologetic look.
Meanwhile, Dick crossed his arms and shook his head in amusement. "Ah, Damian... you are such an idiot sometimes." He grinned affectionately at Liza. "Don't listen to him. Of course you're special, kiddo. And I think we can all agree that this family just wouldn't be the same without you."
As they continued to exchange glances and banter, it was clear that while there might be differences of opinion among them, their love for Liza remained unshakeable. They were his brothers in every sense of the word, and no matter what happened or how things changed, they would always have each other's backs... including Liza's.
Um, ok. I think I'll just head back to my room Liza sheepishly laughs before returning to his room
Damian rolled his eyes and shrugged as Liza left the room. "Whatever," he muttered under his breath before looking over at Jason. "So what now?" He asked, still sounding unimpressed but curious nonetheless. Jason sighed and rubbed the back of his neck.
"I suppose we apologize to him for being... overbearing." Dick chimed in with a thoughtful nod. "And try to make it up to him somehow." He glanced at Bruce expectantly. The elder Wayne brother considered for a moment before speaking.
"We could take him out for pizza tonight. Just the four of us, no business talk or anything like that. A night just to hang out and have fun." Jason grinned at the idea while Damian seemed more intrigued than he cared to admit. "That actually sounds kinda nice," he admitted reluctantly.
The brothers exchanged knowing glances before turning their attention back to the task at hand, albeit with a newfound sense of purpose and determination. They had made their mistakes, but now it was time to make things right again... starting with a night out on the town.
