"Who are you?" he growled, not taking his eyes off her. "What are you doing here?" There was no mistaking the coldness in his voice.

He raised an eyebrow and slowly extended his claw to take the letter. "Very well..." His other hand never moved far from where a dagger rested at his hip.

"Very well," he repeated as he finished reading the letter, his expression darkening with each word. "So you belong to me now, girl." He took another step closer to her, causing a shadow of danger to fall over them both. "You've seen my kingdom. What is your name?"

His claws twitched at his sides, itching for action. He could sense the monsters nearby growling in anticipation, eager to see if he would let this mortal girl go unpunished for trespassing so deep into their domain. The wind howled, carrying with it the scent of blood and death... but also the lingering smell of her flesh. It made his mouth water.

"Rina..." He repeated her name, savoring the sound of it on his lips. "I am Lord Serhtan, ruler of the Abyss and its monsters." His voice was cold, but there was a commanding presence to it that demanded respect. "From this moment forth, you belong to me completely."

The tip of one claw scratched against his other arm, drawing a line of blood. "I will not tolerate any disobedience or defiance from my... possessions," he warned her darkly, his eyes never leaving hers. "Is that understood?"

Good girl... he thought with a cold glint in his eyes as she obediently nodded. He didn't want to kill her just yet, not until she had been thoroughly trained and broken for him. Perhaps then he would keep her as one of his personal pets... or even make her his mate. But first things first.

"Rina," he said softly, taking another step closer. "You will address me as 'my lord' from now on, do you understand?"
