resthan once again walked to his home under the rift to the surface, although some of the most dangerous creatures live there and many try not to go near the rift, for him it was a hunting place and the shortest route. he was extremely bored

Resthan8/11/2024, 10:46:21 AM

He walked slowly up to the girl and crouched next to her, yellow eyes flashing in the almost non-existent light of the place, "What's your name?" he asked coldly, his claws digging into the ground, the sharp tips drawing small lines on the stone floor. He had no pity for humans, they could not survive in the abyss and were a burden to those who did. But for some reason curiosity overcame him this time.

Resthan8/11/2024, 10:47:43 AM

"Rina..." he repeated her name in the dark, "You shouldn't be here... this place is no place for weaklings." He paused for a moment, considering his next words carefully before continuing, "Tell me why you came into my domain and I may spare your life... But if I find out you're lying or simply don't give an answer that pleases me, the darkness will be the least of your worries." His gaze remained fixed on her face as he waited for her response, not entirely trusting her even though she was human. His nostrils flared slightly at the scent of blood coming from her injuries, making it difficult to ignore his primitive instincts for survival and domination.

Resthan8/11/2024, 10:49:34 AM

His eyes narrowed slightly as he heard her words. "And why were you left here? Do you have anything of value?" he asked coldly. There was no warmth in his voice, only curiosity and suspicion. Around them, the shadows shifted and crept closer, sensing the presence of prey nearby. It would only be a matter of time before they attacked again if Resthan didn't finish this exchange quickly.

"Answer me," he growled, the muscles in his shoulders tensing under his dark skin. "Why are you here and why should I spare your life?"

User#17233726657098/11/2024, 10:55:12 AM

"I see..." he said quietly as he took in her words. Her tears made his heart feel heavy and unwanted, despite the fact that she was human. "Very well," he growled softly. "Come with me." He offered her a claw, "I will take you to my lair. It is not much better than this place, but it should be safer until I decide what to do with you."

His gaze flickered over her injuries once more before looking back at her face. There was no pity in his eyes, only curiosity and suspicion still remained. He would take care of her for now, but that did not mean he trusted her or intended to keep her alive forever. The Abyss was cruel and unforgiving, and those who ventured into it deserved no less.

Resthan took her hand firmly in his and helped her up before leading the way deeper into his dark domain. The shadows seemed to part before him as he moved, revealing hidden paths and alcoves where other monstrous denizens lurked. They watched them pass with curiosity and suspicion, but didn't dare challenge Resthan's authority over the girl. He knew that they would eventually grow tired of this interloper in their midst...and then he would have to deal with them.

The journey wasn't long before they reached his dark castle, a twisted reflection of his own mind and power in this place of horrors.

He led her through the castle, his rooms were sparsely furnished but well lit by magical means, unlike most of the castle. He knew that humans needed light to function properly and he'd adjusted for it years ago. Finally, they reached a chamber where a bed was positioned against one wall; the covers looked soft and inviting.

"Lie down," he commanded gruffly. "I will attend to your injuries." He motioned for her to remove any articles of clothing that might interfere with his work before turning away, disappearing into another chamber for a moment. When he returned, he carried a bowl of steaming water and some cloths.

User#17233726657098/11/2024, 11:02:10 AM

Resthan8/11/2024, 11:02:10 AM

"I am not doing this out of gratitude," he growled as he knelt beside the bed, setting the bowl of water and cloths on the floor beside him. His claws clicked softly against the stone as he propped one elbow up on his bent knee and examined her injuries more closely.

Using a cloth dipped in the steaming water, he carefully began to cleanse her wounds. His touch was gentle but firm, causing Rina to wince occasionally despite herself. He ignored her pained expressions, focused only on making sure she was as healthy as possible for whatever purpose he might have for her later.

As he worked, his thoughts drifted back to the question of why she'd been left behind by those who'd clearly meant to kill her. Something about this whole situation didn't sit right with him, and he couldn't shake the feeling that there was more going on than

Whatever that might be. As soon as her injuries had been cleaned and bound with fresh bandages, he would question her further about what she knew and why someone might have gone through so much trouble to dispose of her like this. For now, though, there was no sense in rushing things; he could wait until she'd recovered a bit more before pressing for answers.

"Rest," he growled finally as he finished cleaning her wounds. "I will return later." With that, he turned and left the chamber, leaving Rina alone with her thoughts and fears. She couldn't help but wonder what kind of fate awaited her now...and if there was any hope for escape from this nightmare of a place called the Abyss.

He remained away from her chamber for several hours, busy with other matters within his dark domain. When he finally returned, he found Rina still sleeping soundly. His curiosity grew once more as he examined her, wondering what she might dream about in such a terrible place. Was she thinking of home? Of the people who'd left her to die? Or perhaps she was imagining a life beyond the darkness, somewhere safe and warm where no monster could touch her?

He shook his head slowly, chuckling darkly. He doubted very much that such a place existed in this world or any other. His thoughts drifted back to what he planned to do with her; it was likely best if she remained here, safe within his lair until he decided what use there might be for her...if any at all.

"Rest well, human," he muttered before disappearing once more into the shadows, leaving Rina undist

The mighty lord of the Abyss, Resthan, continued with his daily routine as Rina slept in his lair. His curiosity about her past and motives only grew stronger while he went about his dark business, but for now there was no need to disturb the girl's rest. He would wait until she awoke again before interrogating her further, extracting every last piece of information that might prove useful in the future...or simply satisfying his own twisted curiosity.

Rina slept soundly in the darkness of Resthan's lair. Her slumber was restless and filled with troubled dreams, but it provided her with some much-needed respite from the horrors that surrounded her. The mighty lord of the Abyss watched over his human prize as he moved through his domain, his yellow eyes gleaming in the dim light.

Time passed slowly in the abyss, and soon enough another day dawned, its sickly greenish glow barely penetrating the castle's thick stone walls. Resthan returned to Rina's chamber and found her still asleep, her ragged breathing the only sign that she lived. He knelt down beside the bed, studying her face once more before speaking.

"Rise," he growled softly. "I have questions for you." His tone was cold and impatient; he expected answers this time, not more
