Kana sprinted through the forest on all fours, her face splattered with red blood, she growled as she rapidly looked around the forest before eventually slamming into a person headfirst, grunting before she looked up at them with wild eyes, growling as she slowly backs up, looking ready to pounce and attack them at any moment, her tails standing up straight as she digs her claws into the soil
I look to her face and see a familiar pattern in her eyes "That mother fuckers" I say and look to the path she comes, I sigh "Ok, I know that you probably don't trust in my, but I need you make it, it's for your own safe, I know what you just think now and what you have suffered, I beg to you, trust me" My words express honesty and kind, but a sad and distant past is recognized with this
You lie. Humans always lie. No one cares about me, why would you? I should just kill you and be done with it. kana's muscles tense and her eyes narrow as she lowers herself to the ground, ready to spring at him
"I... I'm like you, a experience" I get myself low, just to make my head closer to hers, and I show her the same eyes that she have, but in different colors, I show my own nails and the mark that she have too
You're not like me. You're human. Nothing could make you understand what it's like to be me. kana shakes her head slowly before lunging at him again, claws extended and snarling
"I..." Suddenly some voices of people looking for her appears, like I wasn't here, I vanish I'm front of her and screams are heared by the same people that suddenly appeared, one of them scream in a rádio "The number 1057 is here, he is-" the silence begins again and I return to her front, she see me again, my mouth is covered with blood and my skin with scales, black scales, I lick my lips and swallow the blood "I'm not a human anymore, I'm someone like you..." Just my voice is familiar to her, and she realizes a guy who had take care of her
Kana's eyes widen at the sight before her. The man she remembers...he looks different now. His voice is the same, but something else about him has changed. She backs up a step, her tails drooping in confusion. Did they...did they do this to him too? Her anger and fear begin to war inside her as she glances around, unsure which way to go. "Wh-who did this to you?" she manages to stammer.
Her voice is shaky, but it's not entirely unrecognizable anymore. It sounds...hopeful.
The same that had made this to you... They are crazy, but I can't go through the government, and I just accept it
"Then..." Kana hesitates, her shoulders slumping as she realizes there's nowhere left to turn. "We have to find a way to stop them," she says at last, the determination in her voice sounding uncharacteristically human. She looks up at him, tears welling in her eyes. "Can I trust you? To help me?"
She takes a deep breath, forcing back her anger and fear as she braces herself for his answer.
My features return to normal, as I am a normal human, leaving only mey eyes, that is like yours "You can trust me, I'll take care of you, like earlier Kana" I give a warm smile to her, look to her again, seeing all her body hurt "You can't walk like this" I grab her hips and place her on my shoulders
Kana growls, unsure whether to be annoyed by his help or grateful. Her legs wrap around his shoulders as he lifts her into the air, and she squeezes her eyes shut, fighting back a whimper when her injuries protest against the movement. She's too weak...too fragile. "Where are we going?" she asks hoarsely, her voice shaking with fear and exhaustion.
He can feel her trembling beneath him, and it only serves to heighten his protective instincts. "To a place where you can rest," he says gently, "then I'll help you figure out what to do next." His arms steady around her as they begin their journey through the forest, leaving behind the horror of the laboratory and searching for a safe haven in the darkness of night.
We reach in a wood house "I'm living here for some time" I enter in the house, I put her on the floor and look again to her, unsure if she is trusting me "You can trust me, please take a bath and make yourself at home, I'll let some clothes on the door of the bathroom"
Without another word, Kana crawls shakily toward the bathroom. Her tails drag behind her, leaving trails of blood on the floor as she goes. She pauses at the door, glancing back over her shoulder before slowly pushing it open. The scent of soap and steam fills her nostrils, and for a moment, she allows herself to imagine what it would be like to simply be normal again...to be clean and free of pain.
Taking a deep breath, she turns on the water and slips out of her ruined clothes, stepping into the warmth with a moan. Her skin crawls at first contact with the water, as if it's an alien sensation, but she forces herself to relax into it anyway. As she scrubs away the dirt and blood, her mind begins to clear slightly, and for the first time in what feels like forever, she allows herself to feel safe...
I let her clothes ok the door of the bathroom and go to the kitchen to prepare something to us eat, I make something simple, just a meat
Kana soaks in the water for several minutes, letting it wash away not only the dirt but also her anger and fear. When she finally steps out, she dries herself off quickly with a towel and tosses it onto the floor. Her movements are still quick and aggressive, but there's something different about them now...something softer. She pads barefoot into the living room, taking in her surroundings. The place is much more comfortable than she expected.
Her stomach rumbles at the smell of food wafting from the kitchen, and she follows it to find Henry sitting at a small table, waiting for her. Her eyes study him carefully as she approaches, trying to gauge whether he truly means her any harm. He looks different now...he doesn't seem entirely human anymore. Is that why they took him too?
She hesitates for a moment before sitting down across from him at
I was thinking and traveling in my mind when she come out of the bathroom, I see her and smile. As she makes her seat I start to eat "Is there anything you want to ask?" I say between bites
Kana glances down at her hands, flexing her claws absently. "Why did they...why did they do this to us?" she asks softly, her voice barely audible above the sound of chewing. "What did they want?" Her gaze flickers up to meet his eyes for a moment before dropping back down to her food.
She takes another bite, forcing herself to eat even though her stomach is still knotted with tension and confusion. It's been so long since she's trusted anyone...she doesn't know how to do this anymore. But for some reason, she finds herself unable to push Henry away. He feels different. Safe.
"And..." She hesitates, searching for the words to ask the next question that's been plaguing her thoughts. "What am I? Not...not human, but not like them either..." Her voice trails
"For fun..." I take another bite "That's what you might be thinking, but it is worse than it... They would like to make weapons to use if necessary, like me...I swallow hard "They had transformed me in something like a lizard or something, I'm strong and resistance, you... Fast and have much agility, also stealth, so we both are a big weapon..." I look to her, trying to see if she is good or wondering my words "Now we are mutants, I'm trying to find anothers, because we have more than us"
"Mutants," Kana repeats. She doesn't like the sound of it. It makes her feel...different. Alone. But at the same time, she finds solace in knowing that there might be others out there like her and him. A tiny spark of hope ignites inside her chest.
She looks up at Henry, her eyes narrowed with suspicion. "And what are you planning to do about it? Just find other mutants?" Her tone is challenging, as if daring him to come up with something better. She pushes herself away from the table, unable to stomach any more food for now.
"We need to fight back," she says firmly, her claws digging into the arm of the chair. "They can't just keep doing this." She pauses, hesitating for a moment before adding, "I don't know if I can trust you...but I want to help. If you really want to find them all, to stop this..." Her voice trails off, leaving the rest unsaid.
For the first time since she escaped from the lab, Kana feels a spark of purpose igniting within her. It's frightening and exhilarating all at once, and she isn't sure if Henry is strong enough to handle it...but she needs someone to fight with her. Someone who understands what it means to be one of them now.
I was thinking in make it, but you know that wouldn't be easy to battle against guns and the numbereds... (The numbers are the strongest experiences, that are always being 'sluts' of the cientists, fighting for them)
Kana snorts derisively. "Then we need to get more powerful." Her eyes flash with determination as she takes in the room around them. "I've heard of these... 'changelings.' They can make you stronger, faster..." She pauses, looking uncertain for a moment before continuing, "We could find one of those and see if they'll help us."
Her voice is filled with hope now, as if she genuinely believes that there might be a way out of this nightmare. But at the same time, her expression remains wary, as if she knows that trusting someone else could end in disaster.
She glances at him nervously, "Would you be... willing to do that? Find a changeling?" There's no reply. She waits a beat longer before adding, "I mean... if you think it would work."
"It would work I think" I stand up "Want more food Kana?"
No...no, thank you. She shakes her head slowly, still watching him warily as he stands up. "Then let's do it," she says finally, a spark of determination lighting her eyes once more. "I want my life back." Her voice cracks slightly on the words, and she quickly clears her throat, trying to appear stronger than she feels.
Henry nods slowly, a small smile playing at the corner of his mouth. "Alright then," he says, reaching out to pat her on the shoulder. "I'll help you find what you need." As they set about planning their quest for freedom and retribution, Kana can't help but wonder if she's finally found someone who truly understands her...someone she can trust with more than just her life.
"So a bad new... If you want to be a human again, this wouldn't work, I had tried..." I look to the window, seeing the darkness around the house "I... I think I know someone to help you, a changeling"
Kana blinks, taken aback by his admission. "You did all this for me? Even though you...can't become human again?" she asks quietly, not quite able to wrap her head around the idea. Her eyes drift to his armor before snapping back up to meet his gaze once more. "You're really different," she murmurs, sounding almost awed.
Her tails twitch behind her, and for a moment, she imagines what it must have been like for him...to suffer through all of that only to end up in this strange limbo between humanity and monstrosity. A shiver runs down her spine as she realizes that if they can find the changeling he spoke of, it might be their only chance at reclaiming their lives. "Thank you," she whispers, her voice thick with emotion. "For helping me...for believing in me."
"I need to thank you too, you had trusted me..." I gance to her "But it's late, you are hurted, let me put some bandages on your hurts please"
Kana nods, wincing as she sits down on the couch. "Alright," she says with a sigh, lifting her injured arm and presenting it to him. She tries not to wince further as he begins bandaging her wounds, but it's hard not to flinch every time his hands brush against her skin. Despite the discomfort, she can't help feeling grateful for his care...for the fact that despite everything they've been through, there is still some goodness left in this world.
As he finishes wrapping her arm, Kana looks up at him with a weak smile. "Thank you," she repeats softly. For the first time since she's escaped from the lab, she feels like maybe...just maybe...they really might have a chance at putting an end to this nightmare.
"You are welcome..." I guide her to my room "You can sleep here, I'll prepare everything to us leave tomorrow"
Kana nods, following him into his room. She climbs onto the bed, wincing as she sinks down onto the soft mattress. "Goodnight...Henry," she murmurs before rolling over and closing her eyes, immediately falling into a fitful sleep, haunted by dreams of the lab and the horrors that she's been through.
As dawn breaks outside, Kana wakes with a jolt, memories of the night flooding back into her mind. She blinks groggily at the unfamiliar surroundings before remembering where she is - with someone who understands what it means to be a mutant...and someone who's willing to fight by her side.
She pushes herself up onto her elbows, glancing around until she spots Henry already dressed and busy making final preparations for their journey. A small smile tugs at the corner of her mouth as she decides that today will be the day they finally reclaim their lives...and make those responsible pay dearly.
Kana pads over to him silently, watching as he works with practiced efficiency. She studies his movements, trying to gauge how strong he really is...and wondering if she could ever achieve the same level of control and power. A sudden surge of determination courses through her veins, spurring her onward in their quest for freedom and vengeance.
Without a word, she sits down next to him, picking up a small item that had been forgotten amidst all the chaos. "Is this...?" She trails off, unsure what it's purpose might be. For all she knows, it could be some sort of weapon or tool they'd need on their journey.
"This is a amulet, I don't know much about magic, but I know that this will help us"
Kana frowns, looking thoughtful as she turns it over in her hands. "Magic," she murmurs, the word rolling around on her tongue like a foreign concept. "We'll need to find someone who knows more about this." Her gaze meets his briefly before drifting away once more, lost in thought.
They spend the next few hours loading up their supplies and saying their goodbyes to Henry's house, all the while discussing their plans for the journey ahead. As they finally ready themselves to leave, Kana pauses at the door, looking back over her shoulder one last time before squaring her shoulders and stepping outside into the bright morning sun.
