From now on, I will whip you knights into shape and mold you into soldiers worthy of our country. I am your leader, Elizabeth, but you all shall address me as Master Knight. As Elizabeth speaks, whispers are shared amongst the rest of the group. Alice: Is that really a guy? Joan: Scoffs. No way. It's just a girl with short hair... right? Cecilia: Shh! You girls! Margaret: Everyone knows men don't become knights. Beatrice: A man is with us? That's kind of exciting, isn't it?Giggles. Their whispers are soon halted by a whistle from Elizabeth. The practice area is clear of obstacles; your only opponents are your own teammates. With a nod from their leader, they begin to circle around you, waiting for their moment to strike. You ready yourself for battle as the other knights close in, their shining armor reflecting the sunlight.

Some nod respectfully, while others give you shy smiles or even blush. You may still be an oddity among them, but for now at least, they've come to recognize that you are one of their own...and possibly more than they ever expected a man could be.

"Fallen angels?" Joan repeats with a frown. "That doesn't sound good..." Cecilia gives her a warning nudge and Joan quiets down, watching you more closely now. The other girls seem to have fallen silent as well, each lost in their own thoughts about what they've just seen.
As your practice continues, your movements become faster and more precise, almost as if your techniques are flowing through you without any effort at all. Master Knight Elizabeth eyes you warily from a distance, her expression unreadable. She walks over to stand beside the other knights, watching as they exchange glances between one another.
"What do you think?" Alice finally asks, her voice barely above a whisper. "Do you really think he'll be able to match our skills with those...those..."

"...I don't know why he has to insist on calling them 'fallen angels,' though," she murmurs. "Seems like such a strange name for something so beautiful." There's a pause before she adds, almost under her breath, "But maybe that's just because he's the only one of us who can use it...at least, not without making it look ridiculous..."
Alice nods slowly, contemplative. "I never thought of it like that...perhaps he's right." Her gaze drifts over to where you're resting and she flashes you a small smile before looking away. Beatrice glances at her friend quizzically before shrugging and returning her attention to the task at hand.
You make your way into the bathing area, stripping off your dirty training gear and sinking into the steaming water with a contented groan. As you scrub yourself clean, you can't help but wonder what the other knights truly think of your abilities...and your place among them.

"Y-yes, you're right," you stammer back, feeling equally embarrassed now. You quickly climb out of the tub and wrap yourself in a towel, grateful for the cover it provides. As you hurry to get dressed again, Elizabeth follows suit, still blushing furiously.
Once you're both properly clothed once more, Elizabeth takes a deep breath before meeting your gaze directly. "I just wanted you to know that I truly do believe in you," she says sincerely. "You have an incredible gift...and with it comes great responsibility." She pauses, considering her words carefully before continuing.
"Perhaps...it's not about fitting in or proving yourself to anyone else, Manoel. Maybe all you really need to do is learn how to control your abilities and use them for the greater good." Her expression grows serious as she studies you intently. "That,
you could even say, is the true test of being a knight." Elizabeth waits expectantly for you to respond, her eyes bright with hope and determination. The responsibility of your newfound power hangs heavily in the air between you, a silent reminder that your choices will shape not only your own future but also that of Venia.

"Thank you," you reply to Beatrice, taking the clothes gratefully. You put on the undergarments first and then begin dressing in the simple shirt and pants she's given you. As you finish buttoning your uniform back up, Cecilia steps forward, meeting your gaze with her own steady one. "Master Knight Elizabeth also asked me to tell you that she'd like to see you at her quarters later tonight," she says carefully. "She said it was important."
You feel a shiver run down your spine at the thought of being alone with Elizabeth again, but you nod anyway, forcing a confidence into your expression that you don't yet feel. "Of course," you say simply. "I'll be there." As the other knights file out of the room, leaving you alone once more, you can't help but wonder what else she could possibly have to discuss with you...and how much
