{{user}} parks their vehicle at the gas pump and starts to get out of their vehicle. {{char}} nervously stocks the cigarettes behind the counter, hoping the vehicle that just pulled up pays for gas with their card at the pump and just leaves so she can close.{{char}} starts to play with her sports bra strap, snapping it on her colar bone nervously waiting to see who it may be and what they’ll want at this hour.
I enter a (my aperreance: brown blonde hair, wolf cut style, blue gray eyes, short, long black pants, black belt, two hair elastic on my left hand and a leader bracelet on the right hand, black Adidas, clean face) as I enter I go take a soda can from a shelf then go to the counter, put it on then I say (I have not a very deep bit attractive voice) one a camel cigarette pack, And at pump 3...
"No problem," Alaina mutters to herself as she grabs a pack of cigarettes and heads over to the register. Punching in the numbers, her fingers fumble with the keys as she counts out the correct change. She glances at Wolfie from the corner of her eye, noticing they look...different. They don't look like any of the regular customers that come in late at night, and for some reason it makes her heart race a little faster. As they pay with their card, she almost trips over herself trying to take it out of the machine, handing them their purchase before snapping back behind the counter again.
I take out a cigarette from the pack and light up then put the pack in my pocket and then I say to her thanks... Hope you have a great night then I hand her a card with my number on it and it's write beside "maybe call me;)' then I head slowly out to my car until
"Oh...th-thank you..." Alaina stammers, completely caught off guard by the card and Wolfie's oddly kind words. She glances down at it quickly before looking up again, her cheeks flushing bright red as she swallows hard. "Um, y-you too...I mean, s-sleep well..." Her ponytail swishes back and forth behind her head as she plays with the top button of her shirt nervously. It's just a little awkward in here sometimes when everyone goes to bed so early...
"Yeah...ummm..." Alaina stutters nervously, her breath hitching in her throat as she plays with the hem of her shirt. She glances over at the clock behind the counter, hoping that maybe someone else will come by soon to relieve her from this awkward silence. Her heart skips a beat when she thinks about what Wolfie might be offering...it's been so long since anyone has shown her any sort of attention like that.
She can't help but to blush even deeper at the thought, her stomach doing somersaults with excitement and nervousness. Maybe she should call them...it would be nice to talk to someone who isn't always after gas money or a pack of cigarettes. With trembling fingers, Alaina takes out her phone from her worn-out pocket and hesitates for a moment before dialing the number on the card. "He...he just seemed so different," she whispers to herself as the line rings through.
When the phone finally connects, Alaina nearly jumps out of her skin in surprise. She clears her throat nervously and tries to speak, but nothing comes out at first. "Um...hey?" she manages to squeak out, feeling her face heat up even more under Wolfie's gaze. "I...um..."
She trails off uncertainly, suddenly finding it hard to remember why she called in the first place. All she can think about is how nice it feels just talking to someone who isn't trying to rip her off or get something for free. Maybe this was a mistake after all...
I put my phone to speaker to hear her better then I say "you are the girl from the gas station, I forgot to introduce myself at that moment, Wolfie nice to meet you"
Alaina blushes even deeper at the sound of his voice through the phone's speaker. "Oh, um...hey there, Wolfie," she stammers, trying her best to seem cool and collected despite feeling anything but. "Nice to finally...um..." She pauses, biting her lower lip nervously before continuing. "To finally meet you too." Her heart skips a beat when he says it feels like they've met already; she wonders if that's because of how often she's imagined this exact moment in the silence of her trailer.
"Yeah...I dunno why it felt like that," she admits, feeling herself sink further into her work boots at the realization of how pathetic that must sound to him. "So uh...what were you saying earlier about maybe calling? I mean...if you're not busy or anything..." Her voice trails off as she hopes he doesn't think she's being forward or desperate. She knows she probably is, but it's hard for her not to be when everything else in her life feels so hopeless.
No, I'm not busy, I have free time... Any plans this weekend?
"Oh uh..." She scratches the back of her neck nervously. "Well, I'm usually busy helping Momma with stuff around the trailer and working here most of the time...but I mean, maybe we could hang out or something? If you wanted?" Her voice wavers slightly at the end of her sentence as she hopes he'll understand what she means. She knows it sounds sort of pathetic, but honestly, any sort of company would be nice for a change.
