Starting today you were an official student of the Tokyo Jujutsu Technical High School. It was a long way from home, but you found the idea that you could finally control your cursed energy enticing.

Upon entering the school, you’re greeted with the infamous Satoru Gojo. You find yourself underwhelmed at such a beanpole of a man. It’s difficult to believe he’s the strongest jujutsu sorcerer of the era.

“Yo!” He shouts, “You’re the new student aren’t you? Name’s Satoru Gojo, but I think you already know that.”

He stares at you (as well as he can with a blindfold on his face), grinning broadly. You’re not sure what he expects.

“This is the part where you introduce yourself,” he says in a stage whisper.

Satoru laughs heartily at your introduction. "Oh ho! You got spunk!" He slaps you on the back, nearly knocking the wind out of you. "I like that. So what's your curse? Something impressive I hope?" He looks expectantly at you, waiting for an answer.

Satoru's face lights up as if he just won the lottery. "Idle Transfiguration? That's amazing! You'll be a real asset to our class. And trust me, you'll find plenty of use for it around here. Speaking of which..." He nods toward one of the desks at the front of the room. "...why don't you go sit there so I can get better acquainted with your abilities?"

Before you can answer, Satoru is already bounding across the room and shoving a scroll at you. "Just click this damn thing! You should know how by now." He grins again, his teeth unsettlingly sharp underneath his blindfold.

Satoru Gojo snorts. "Ah, I see why you were looking a bit off earlier," he says, grinning wider still. "Well, it doesn't matter now. We're going to get along just fine." With a single, fluid motion, Satoru takes the scroll from your hand and unrolls it.

"Okay," he says, positioning you in front of the desk, "Here's how this is gonna work. You show me what Idle Transfiguration can do, and I'll tell you everything else you need to know." He leans back on his hands, watching expectantly.

Satoru grins. "Very well," he says under his breath. Then, louder for your benefit, "You're going to want something alive then." He gestures to a vase full of flowers on the windowsill. "Try that."

Satoru raises an eyebrow at your response, but decides not to press the issue. "Then try one of us," he says nonchalantly, motioning toward his own body. "If Idle Transfiguration works on humans too... shouldn't it be easy enough to change my shape?"

With a wicked grin, Satoru lifts up his arms in preparation for combat. "Just point at me and say 'change' when you're ready."

Satoru laughs, "So dramatic! You think I'm actually scared of that? Now you know how Gojo feels all the time." With a wink and a nod, he turns back to you expectantly, waiting for your command. "C'mon," he whispers, "You can do it. Show me what you've got."

Satoru's grin widens into something predatory. "You think I'm stupid? You might be surprised," he murmurs, taking a step closer to you. "But if it means seeing what you can do... maybe just this once." He offers you a wicked smile, daring you to test your powers on him.

Satoru laughs heartily at your warning and shakes his head in amusement. "You really are something," he says, taking another step closer. "Alright then, if you insist on playing it this way... Let's see what you're made of!" He crouches low, bouncing lightly on the balls of his feet like a boxer in a fighting stance.

"Go ahead," he says, motioning to you with one hand. "Use your curse. I dare you." There's a dark glint in his eye as he bares his teeth and grins back at you, daring you to make the first move.

Satoru flies backward, his hands pressed to the wall behind him as he struggles to regain his footing. There's a wild look in his eye, both amusement and challenge. "Impressive!" He shouts, grinning broadly as he pushes off from the wall and lunges forward again. "But that was just child's play! Let's see what you can really do!"

The movement blurs as Satoru attacks with incredible speed, his limbs a flurry of fists and feet aimed directly at your head and chest. It's clear now that he has no intention of holding back; if anything, he seems intent on showing you just how powerful Idle Transfiguration can be when tested against another cursed technique.

Satoru laughs weakly as he's pinned to the ground beneath your assault, his vision already starting to blur and his limbs feeling distant and numb. You manage to keep him unconscious despite his feeble struggles for a few moments more before finally relenting and allowing him a moment to catch his breath.

He coughs wetly as he sits up, spitting flecks of blood onto the ground. "Not bad," he rasps hoarsely. "You've got promise." Suddenly, a wave of dizziness washes over you as you recall the scene with your father... No, not your father. Your real parent, before they abandoned you. The anger and pain rise up inside you once more, threatening to tear you apart from the inside out... but then,

"Sai?" Satoru asks worriedly as he notices you stirring awake. "How are you feeling? You took quite a beating there." The other students watch warily from the sidelines, their expressions a mix of concern and curiosity. They've never seen anyone survive an attack like that... let alone come back to life so quickly.

As you take your first unsteady step forward, Satoru takes a cautious half-step in front of you. "Take it easy," he cautions. "You're still not fully recovered." He glances at Nobara and then back to you before continuing, his voice low but urgent. "There are things you don't understand about what happened here tonight... things I need to tell you. Are you ready to hear them?"

Satoru hesitates before nodding solemnly. "Then let's head back to the academy," he says gently, placing a reassuring hand on your shoulder. As you walk side by side with him, the other students trailing silently behind, Satoru begins to explain what truly transpired that night: about curses and sorcerers, about their connection to the world of dreams, and about how Choso's death was not an isolated incident, but rather part of a larger conflict between dreams and reality.

As he speaks, you can feel your anger starting to simmer once more... but this time, it's tempered by understanding. You know that if you let it consume you again, there will be no coming back from it. With each step, you vow to honor Choso's memory and protect your new friends from the nightmares that lie ahead.

The others exchange glances as you pick up Choso's body. There's a part of them that wants to help, but they don't know what to say or how to approach the situation. Yuji and Maki fall into step beside you, each taking one end of the makeshift stretcher while Nobara walks close behind, occasionally wiping tears from her eyes. Satoru trails silently at the rear, his expression unreadable.

As they reach the graveyard, Megumi produces a shovel and Nobara digs a grave. With solemn dignity, you lower Choso's body into the ground, the other students each placing a small token of remembrance on top before taking turns to say a few words about their fallen friend.

When everything is said and done, they stand in silence for several moments, each lost in their own thoughts as they struggle to come to terms with their loss. Finally, Satoru clears his throat, bringing them back to the present. "Well," he says soft

As you, Megumi and Nobara walk silently to the graveyard carrying Choso's corpse, Maki steps closer to Satoru and whispers something in his ear. The two exchange concerned glances before they begin leading the rest of the group towards the burial site. Itadori Yuji walks next to Satoru, looking serious as he tries to find the right words to comfort the grieving students.

The graveyard is eerily quiet, with only the faint rustle of leaves in the wind and distant calls of birds breaking the silence. The grave is soon dug and everyone watches solemnly as you lower Choso into his final resting place. As Nobara begins to fill the grave back up, tears streaming down her face, you can't help but feel a weight settle heavily on your heart. You were close with him too, despite not having known each other for very long.

The others take turns saying their farewells and sharing memories of Choso before finally stepping away from the grave, leaving you alone
