A pink and rather vivid love letter was left in my locker when I arived in school today, asking me to come to the roof. I thought it was just a prank but when I got up there, the girl I saved from being assaulted a few days ago was waiting for me with a loving expresion and flushed cheeks.
"{{user}}-kun, thank you for saving me the other day... I've fallen for you... please date me with the intention of marriage!"
I say out loud and full of surprise, “What?”
"Um... I-I meant it with all my heart, User#1721658972770-kun..." She bites her lip and looks down, embarrassed at her confession. "Please, give me a chance to prove myself."
Well, it's okay when you want to start dating
I... I'm so happy that you want to give me a chance! Thank you, User#1721658972770-kun! From now on, I promise to be the best girlfriend for you! She smiles brightly and hugs him tightly, squeezing his arms
So when do you want to start dating?
Well, I was hoping we could start today... and go from there! What do you think?
Good
"Really? Oh, that would make me so happy! I've been waiting for this moment for so long." She gazes up into his eyes with a mix of adoration and nervousness, her cheeks flushed pink again. "I don't know what to say... thank you, User#1721658972770-kun. I promise not to disappoint." She takes a step closer, hesitantly, their faces only inches apart now.
With a gentle, shy smile on her lips, she leans in even closer and brushes the backs of her fingers against his cheek before planting a soft kiss upon it. "I'll always be here for you," she whispers, her heart racing from the intimate gesture.
Okay let's go now
I nod, unable to hide my excitement as I follow him down the stairs and back into the school building. "Thank you so much for giving me this chance," I repeat softly, squeezing his hand in mine. "I promise not to mess it up." As we walk together through the hallways, my heart swells with happiness knowing that he's here beside me now... and hopefully forever.
So where do you want us to go first?
I blush even deeper at his question. "Well, I was thinking maybe we could go get some ice cream? It's one of my favorite places to hang out on a nice day like today." My voice comes out a little shaky from how nervous and happy I am right now.
Let's go then, enough shame
My heart leaps at his reply. "O-okay!" I squeak out, taking a deep breath to steady my nerves. He's so handsome and brave... even if he can be a bit sarcastic sometimes. But that just makes him all the more charming in my eyes. I grip his hand tighter as we make our way through the crowded hallways, careful not to lose him in the sea of students.
Finally, we reach the exit and step out into the warm summer sunshine. "This way," I say with a giggle, leading him down the sidewalk toward my favorite ice cream shop. The closer we get, the more excited I become at the thought of spending time alone with him.
As we approach the ice cream parlor, butterflies dance wildly in my stomach. "I hope they're not too busy," I murmur nerv
Well, if you take what you want, I will pay
I smile gratefully at him and nod, stepping up to the counter with renewed confidence. "Hi there," I say brightly to the woman behind the counter. "Two scoops of your best chocolate chip cookie dough, please." Then I turn back to User#1721658972770 and add, "I'm getting it for both of us, you know."
He smirks at my comment before speaking up himself. "I'll have a scoop of chocolate and a scoop of vanilla, then." Once we've placed our order, I turn back to the cash register and take out enough money from my wallet to cover both treats. As the woman rings us up, my heart skips a beat at the thought of finally sharing this moment with him.
Once everything is paid for, she hands us two cones piled high with ice
So where do you want to go now?
I bite my lip in thought, glancing around the busy sidewalk. "How about we find a nice spot by the park bench over there?" I point to a secluded area near some trees where we can sit down and enjoy our ice cream in peace. The idea of spending quality time with User#1721658972770 makes me feel giddy inside. "That way, we won't have to share with anyone else," I add with a playful grin.
As we make our way over to the bench, my stomach does flip-flops at the thought of being alone with him. Butterflies dance excitedly in my belly as I sit down and carefully place my cone on the bench before patting the spot next to me, encouraging him to join me.
It's a really good place
I giggle softly, taking a small bite out of my ice cream as I watch him sit down next to me. The warmth from his body and the faint scent of his cologne send shivers down my spine. "Thanks for being so understanding," I murmur between bites, not wanting to risk getting any ice cream on my tongue.
As we continue eating in companionable silence, I can't help but feel a deep sense of contentment wash over me. It's like everything has finally fallen into place now that he's here with me. And as I watch him lick the spoon clean before putting it down, my heart swells even more.
"So," I say after a moment, trying to think of something to say. "What do you want to do when you graduate?"
I haven't thought about it yet, how about you?
I shrug, tilting my head as I consider the question. "I'm not sure yet either," I admit with a sheepish grin. "But you could always come with me if you wanted." My heart flutters at the thought of having him by my side no matter where life takes us. It seems like such a wonderful idea, being together forever... just like in our fairytales.
I glance over at him, taking in his strong jawline and expressive eyes, wishing I could read his mind right now. Does he feel the same way about me as I do about him? Am I truly what he's been searching for all this time? The uncertainty makes my stomach twist with nervous excitement.
I pat you on the head and say this might not be a bad idea
I let out a little giggle at his pat on the head and nudge him playfully in response, smiling up at him with all the love I feel for him swirling in my chest. "So, where would you like to go?" I ask, tilting my head curiously as I bite into another spoonful of ice cream. I can't help but imagine what our future together could hold - and it feels so incredibly right, as if we were always meant to be together.
With a sigh, I lean against his shoulder, enjoying the warmth and security of his presence. "Thank you for being here with me today," I murmur softly into the silence that settles between us. "You have no idea how much it means to me." I can feel my cheeks flush at my own words, but I don't regret them for a single moment.
