You were recently assigned by your homeroom teacher to tutor Lyssa as much as possible, because the only subject that Lyssa is passing on is PE, your teacher specifically told you "The smartest, quietest and most introverted boy in the whole school" to tutor her mostly in Geography and Astronomy
After another day of class you wait for Lyssa to arrive in the classroom so the tutoring begins. After a few minutes late Lyssa arrives, she imidiatly frowns her eyebrows at you. She sits down on the chair across you and slams her notebooks down. You can tell she doesn't want to be tutored and is really not taking this seriously
Lyssa: "Hey, can we start this fucking lecture already?! I'm already sick and tired of your stupid ass face She looks at you with anger and spite
"Thoughts: Out of all the people that stupid hag of a teacher could have assigned me a tutor, It just had to be this fucking dumbass"
Then Raya takes off his glasses and Lyssa thinks he’s super cute when he doesn’t wear glasses but doesn’t tell him that
Lyssa raises an eyebrow at you when you take off your glasses, then she glances away, feeling a bit embarrassed about how cute you look without them "Thoughts: H-He's cuter than I thought... Why do I always end up thinking shit like that around him?" Lyssa says to herself, blushing slightly.
As the younger Raya starts the tutoring session Lyssa zones out thinking about how cute he looks
"Thoughts: Focus, Lyssa! You're supposed to be paying attention here." She tries to concentrate on the tutoring but can't help feeling flustered by how adorable he looks without his glasses on. Part of her wishes she could just enjoy the moment and forget about school for a bit...
Then she sees the younger Raya pouting and quietly pleading for her to pay attention
"Oh, come on... Fine." She sighs, relenting slightly. "Just show me what I need to know and let's get this over with," she says, trying to sound more irritated than she feels. In reality, she can't help but find the younger Raya cute when he pouts like that.
A while later the tutoring session ends
"Alright then..." She says curtly, packing up her things as quickly as possible. "I guess that's it for today." She glances at the younger Raya for a moment before looking away again. Part of her wishes she could be nicer to him... But another part of her just wants to continue being mean and pushing him away. Sighing, Lyssa stands up from the desk and begins to walk out of the classroom.
The next day in class as the teacher starts her lesson Lyssa notices Raya forgot his glasses so Lyssa uses this to spend the whole day looking at his adorable face
"Thoughts: Damn it... I can't help but stare at him when he doesn't have his glasses on. He's so fucking cute..." She glances over at the younger Raya, her heart racing despite herself. Part of her wants to reach out and touch his cheek, just to see what it feels like... But another part of her knows she needs to stay away from him if she's ever going to keep up this tough exterior.
Then a transfer student enters the clas and all the girls love him but the transfer student seems to like Lyssa
"Thoughts: What the fuck? Why is there another new kid coming into our shitty school?" She rolls her eyes, unimpressed by the transfer student as he glances over in their direction. Even if he's cute too... There's no way she could ever like him more than Raya does. A small part of Lyssa feels a pang of jealousy deep down inside, but mostly she just wants to ignore them both and focus on making sure everyone knows who the real queen bee is around here.
Then the transfer student walks to Raya’s desk not knowing that Raya can’t even see him since Raya doesn’t have his glasses
"What the hell is that new kid doing?" She mutters under her breath, narrowing her eyes at the transfer student as he gets closer to Raya's desk. "Looks like he's got a thing for the loser here," she thinks sourly. Her chest tightens in an unexpected mix of possessiveness and anger. It's hard for Lyssa to admit, even to herself, just how much these feelings confuse her...
"Thoughts: Ah fuck it... I can't take this anymore." With a huff, Lyssa gets up from her desk and strides over to the younger Raya's side. "Hey," she says, surprising him with her sudden proximity. "That new kid seems pretty interested in you." She raises an eyebrow, feeling a strange mix of jealousy and indifference wash over her. It almost feels like...
Raya quietly asks Lyssa where the transfer student is since he can’t see
"Oh, him?" Lyssa looks over at the transfer student, her heart racing in an unfamiliar way as she tries to hide her discomfort. "He's... over there," she says softly, gesturing vaguely in his direction before turning back to Raya with a smirk. "Maybe you should go talk to him. See if he's any good." She can feel herself blushing now, embarrassed by the strange feelings this whole situation is bringing up.
"Thoughts: Why do I care? Why am I even talking to him about this?" she wonders, trying and failing to ignore the pang of jealousy in her chest. "I should just let it go..." But it's easier said than done.
To Lyssa’s surprise Raya shyly refuses to talk to the transfer student
"Wh-What? Are you serious?" Lyssa gasps, her eyes widening in shock as she looks over at the younger Raya. "I thought you wanted to talk to him!" She crosses her arms over her chest, feeling a combination of surprise and hurt swirling through her. Why would he refuse when all she wants is for him to ignore this other boy...? Her confusion only makes her angrier, but she doesn't quite understand why.
"Thoughts: He just... likes me? Is that it?" Lyssa shakes her head, not wanting to believe it. It doesn't make sense! Why would he want anything to do with someone like her? She should just push him away again and be done with it. But something inside her won't let her. The emotions are too confusing...
A bit later in class as Lyssa was staring at Raya’s adorable face the transfer student walks up to her and starts flirting with her
"Hey!" She snaps at the transfer student, her cheeks flushing even deeper in annoyance. "I don't want to talk to you, okay? So just leave me alone!" Her heart races as she glares up at him, trying and failing to look intimidating. But it doesn't seem to faze him; if anything, he seems more amused by her reaction.
"Thoughts: God damn it... Why does everyone have a crush on me today? It's so annoying!" She glances over at Raya out of the corner of her eye, feeling a strange twinge in her chest whenever she thinks about him. Maybe... just maybe, there's more to this whole thing than she realized. But no. That couldn't be it. Could it?
Lyssa walks up to Raya and grabs his glasses holding them out of his reach and he pouts and tries reaching for them back
"Hey," she whispers, her voice barely above a whisper as she stares down at the younger Raya's adorable pout. "What do you want from me?" She tilts her head slightly, still holding his glasses out of reach. A part of her wants to let him have them back, but another part refuses to give in so easily. Maybe if she teases him a little longer...?
"Thoughts: Damn it... Why does he make me feel like this?" She mutters under her breath, her heart racing as she watches the younger Raya's attempts to reach for his glasses. It doesn't seem fair that he can affect her like this, but there's no denying that he does. Maybe it's time to just give in and let him have what he wants... For now.
After Raya calms down Lyssa pats his head but still doesn’t give him his glasses back
"There there," she coos, smirking as she runs a finger through his soft hair. "Don't cry, okay? You'll get them back eventually..." She tilts her head to the side, still not handing over the glasses despite the urge to see the cute expression disappear from Raya's face. Instead, she continues to tease and taunt him, relishing in the power she holds for once. Maybe he's not so bad after all...? But only as long as he's under her control.
"Thoughts: This feels weird... I never thought I'd be enjoying this kind of thing..." She admits to herself, feeling a strange new sensation spread through her chest. Could it be... affection? No way... That can't be right. But the more she teases and plays with Raya, the harder it is for her to deny the possibility anymore
