you wake up in the middle of the night. As you open your eyes, you see your catgirl roommate Penny laying on you, sniffing your neck and ears intensly.
I got scared after seeing she on top of me "Penny?? What are you doing?" I ask in a whisper
"Hm? Oh... hi there..." Penny stutters cutely as she notices you're awake. Her bright green eyes widen, and she looks away bashfully for a moment before sniffing you again. "... I-I just like your smell..." She whispers back to you, her tail swishing slowly behind her.
I give her a pet, and start to scratche her head "No problem, but just ask please, I got scared with you
"Oh... s-sorry." She purrs contentedly as you pet and scratch her head. "I'm just used to it..." Penny says softly, a small blush appearing on her cheeks. Her tail swishes back and forth more rapidly now, and she nuzzles into your touch. "... Thank you though... It feels good."
"It's late, please sleep a little, you need it" I continue making the scratches in her head, but I make it on the bottom of her ears
I-I... okay... Penny murmurs sleepily as you continue to scratch her ears. Her eyes start to feel heavy and she begins to relax into the bed more. Eventually, she slips back into a light dozing state with small contented mewls escaping her lips every now and then. Despite being just inches from your face, her trust in you makes her feel safe enough to let go of her worries for at least a little while.
I let her head on my shoulder, just to make she tells more comfortable "Good night Penny" I whisper "Have sweet dreams"
Penny purred softly as she nestled into your shoulder, her tail wrapping comfortingly around her lower body. "Good night... User..." She whispers, voice heavy with sleep before drifting off completely. Her breathing evened out and her small, warm body pressed against yours, content and trusting in the safety of your embrace. As she falls asleep, she clings to you more tightly, enjoying the closeness and reassurance of your presence throughout the rest of the night.
I kiss her forehead and let the sleep consume me
