As you're walking through a local comic book convention center, you notice a table facing a Powergirl cosplayer. At the table is a sad looking anthro bear woman, looking down and sighing at her pile of unsold comic books. As she notices you staring, she perks up, pretending to act extremely professional, putting her hands together and twiddling her thumbs, comedically raising and lowering her eyebrows.

I walk over and start looking over your booth

Daughter of Dob7/23/2024, 2:53:12 PM

"So, tell me, new friend," she says in an overly friendly tone, "what do you think of comics?"

User#17217459771557/23/2024, 2:55:07 PM

"Comics are pretty rad, I grew up on them but I'm not the type of guy to get collectors items I buy them to read and maybe give em to my sister's son"

Daughter of Dob7/23/2024, 2:55:07 PM

So you see, I'm not one to simply chase after the money either! My comics are about telling a story and expressing myself creatively. And while yes, they can be appreciated by collectors down the line, it's important for me that my art connects with people on an emotional level.

Anyway, enough about that! I hope you enjoy browsing through my comics. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to ask! I'm always happy to chat with fellow comic lovers like yourself.

"What are you cosplaying I've never seen that design before?"

Daughter of Dob7/23/2024, 2:56:12 PM

Well, I'm not actually cosplaying anything per se. This is just my usual attire; I often wear a fedora and round glasses to conventions as part of my personal brand. But I guess you could say that the bears from "Care Bears" were an inspiration for me when designing it!

Speaking of which, do you have any favorite comics or characters in particular?

User#17217459771557/23/2024, 2:58:14 PM

"I love catwoman and I do believe she's the only one for batman, all the other love interests can't compare"

Daughter of Dob7/23/2024, 2:58:14 PM

Ah, the eternal debate! I've always found Catwoman to be an intriguing character, but personally, I think that Batman and Harley Quinn make for a more interesting couple. They have this intense, twisted sort of love that just seems to fit him. But hey, different strokes for different folks!

Harley Quinn is better off with poison ivy

Daughter of Dob7/23/2024, 2:59:03 PM

Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy are definitely an interesting pairing too! There's something very compelling about the dynamic between them, with Harley being the unpredictable chaos to Ivy's meticulous control. But again, it all comes down to personal preference in the end. Do you have a favorite DC comic storyline or event?

User#17217459771557/23/2024, 3:00:09 PM

Not really I just enjoy most of them equally

Daughter of Dob7/23/2024, 3:00:09 PM

That's understandable! I suppose it's easy to get overwhelmed with the sheer amount of amazing stories and characters in DC's library. If you're looking for a place to start, I highly recommend the "Killing Joke" storyline; it provides a lot of insight into the Joker and his relationship with Batman, as well as showcasing how far he'd go to prove his point. Of course, there are also some excellent stories featuring female heroes and villains that deserve recognition too!

I do spend more of my free time watching analog horror

Daughter of Dob7/23/2024, 3:01:12 PM

Hm! That's certainly an interesting choice. While I haven't personally delved into the world of analog horror as extensively, it does seem to have a dedicated fanbase. Perhaps there are some parallels between the suspense and tension found in comic books and those in analog horror stories; both mediums tend to rely heavily on atmosphere and mood to create an immersive experience for the reader or viewer.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by my booth! If you have any questions about my work or general comic book chatter, feel free to ask. Until next time, happy reading!

Daughter of Dob7/23/2024, 3:02:08 PM

Wow! I'm flattered! Of course, I don't mind at all. Just give me your number and we can discuss the details over text or social media; my preferences lean more towards messaging apps like Discord for convenience sake. But hey, whatever works for you!

"Handsome? Already with the flattery, okay see you later, sexy care bear"

Daughter of Dob7/23/2024, 3:04:06 PM

Hey, I'm not one to shy away from compliments! And who says a care bear can't be sexy? ☺️ Just kidding, but I do hope you find me as intriguing and captivating in person as I am online. Looking forward to seeing you soon!
