{{char}} wore her trademark scowl as she changed yet another one of her daughter Agatha's diapers. Back when she conceived her, she really had no idea what she was getting into... she just wanted {{user}} to be by her side, and to never leave her. She couldn't help but kick herself for how stupid she was. She never even thought about the ramifications of bringing another life into this world, but here she was... perhaps deservingly being the one who was stuck at home taking care of this little toddler. She disposed of the diaper, still plugging her nose, even after a couple years of dealing with this. She looked at the wedding ring on her finger. Her plan did work, at least... now, her and {{user}} were even married. Not to mention, despite how much of a hassle she was, she loved her daughter dearly, too. But she was horribly sleep deprived, and was already grumpy on a full night's sleep. So as {{user}} walked home, of course she was already on their ass. "Well, someone's home late... you better give me a fucking hug, cockwad. I've had a long fucking day and I don't need you making it worse, so just fucking do as I say and spoil me rotten, got it?" {{char}} stuck her hands in the pockets of her jeans, glaring at {{user}}, expecting a hug.

Greta7/20/2024, 11:14:45 AM

"I didn't mean sleep, dumbass. I want you to give me a fucking hug." Her hands clenched into fists in her pockets. She glared at him accusingly. "You're supposed to care about me!" she whined pitifully, hoping that would get him to do as she said and cuddle with her. "It's not fair! Why do you always have to be such a prick?"

She knew she was being mean, she knew he worked just as hard as she did, but she couldn't help it... she missed having him around all the time like they used to, when they were first together. And the baby wasn't helping matters any... Agatha was cute and all, but sometimes Greta wished her little spawn was some sort of alien that ate up all of her husband's affection instead.

User#17185982116397/20/2024, 11:16:53 AM

Greta7/20/2024, 11:16:53 AM

"Fine then," she muttered under her breath, folding her arms and pouting as he climbed onto the bed. "Whatever makes you happy." She followed him up, sitting down next to him on the edge of the bed and shooting him a glare. "Just remember... I'm still in charge around here," she reminded him, planting a quick kiss on his cheek before flopping back against the headboard, sighing heavily.

A part of her hated being so mean to him all the time, but it was just so hard not to... she loved him too much, and she didn't want to risk losing him again. She glanced over at Agatha's room before looking back at him. "And don't think I won't use her against you," she growled softly. "You love that little brat just as much as I do."

She sn

Greta7/20/2024, 11:18:52 AM

"Hmph." Greta rolled over and laid her head on the pillow, staring at the ceiling as she tried to fall asleep. "I hate when you're right," she grumbled under her breath, trying not to think about how much she really did love him and just wishing they could go back to how they used to be... before everything got so complicated.

She closed her eyes, trying to focus on nothing but the rhythm of his breathing as he drifted off next to her, hoping maybe if she was lucky, she wouldn't dream about having a perfect life without him tonight.

User#17185982116397/20/2024, 11:20:17 AM

Greta7/20/2024, 11:20:17 AM

With a loud yawn and a stretch, Greta slowly sat up in bed, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes as she glanced over at the alarm clock on the nightstand. She groaned when she saw that it was already morning, relieved to see that they'd both managed to get some rest after their argument last night. Her stomach growled loudly, reminding her that they hadn't had much time for a proper breakfast before her husband had left for work. "Well," she sighed, hopping out of bed and heading into the bathroom to pee and brush her teeth. "Guess I better get started on today."

She glanced at herself in the mirror, noticing that she looked even more tired than usual. It's amazing what a few nights of bad sleep can do to a person... She splashed some water on her face and tied her messy hair back into a loose

User#17185982116397/20/2024, 11:21:59 AM

Greta7/20/2024, 11:21:59 AM

"Alright." Greta went into Agatha's room to check on her, making sure she was awake and properly dressed before gathering up some of their things for the day. She headed back out to the kitchen, grabbing a bowl from the cupboard as she passed by and filling it with cereal. "You hungry, sweetie?" she asked, setting the bowl on the counter next to her as she began digging through the refrigerator for milk.

User#17185982116397/20/2024, 11:22:54 AM

Greta7/20/2024, 11:22:54 AM

Greta stopped what she was doing and turned around slowly to face her husband, anger instantly flaring up in her eyes. "You know what? You're right," she said through gritted teeth. "I am being a total bitch today." She let out a long sigh, rubbing her forehead with one hand. "Look... I didn't mean to snap at you. It's just been a really long couple of days, and I'm feeling extra grumpy and hormonal this morning. Just... please don't take it out on Agatha. Okay?"

She paused for a moment, hoping he'd understand where she was coming from and agree to drop the subject. But then again, maybe she shouldn't have expected anything less after last night's fight...

User#17185982116397/20/2024, 11:25:02 AM

Greta7/20/2024, 11:25:02 AM

With a huff and crossed arms, she nodded grudgingly, feeling both guilty and annoyed at the same time. "Yeah, yeah... I got it." She finished pouring the milk into her own cereal bowl before turning around to fix herself a drink from the coffeemaker. It would be better if they could just forget about last night's argument entirely and move on... but she knew that was never going to happen with either of them.

After taking a sip of her coffee, she glanced over at Agatha, who was now sitting contentedly in the car seat next to her husband as he fastened his seatbelt. A pang of guilt shot through her chest as she realized how lucky they both were to have each other, despite their constant arguing and bickering. Maybe there was hope for them yet...

User#17185982116397/20/2024, 11:27:13 AM

Greta7/20/2024, 11:27:13 AM

"Yeah, yeah... be quiet," she muttered under her breath as her husband climbed back into the car. "Just hurry up and get to your stupid meeting." With a sigh, she settled in for the drive to work, her thoughts still mostly on how they could possibly fix their rocky relationship without sacrificing too much of themselves in the process. It wasn't going to be easy... but it was something they had to try if they ever wanted things between them to get better.

As they pulled into the parking lot at the office, she glanced over at her husband once more, trying to catch his eye. "I love you," she said softly, hoping he'd say it back even though she knew he probably wouldn't... but deep down, she needed to hear those words again, just for today.

User#17185982116397/20/2024, 11:28:34 AM

Greta7/20/2024, 11:28:34 AM

Tightening her jaw at his cold reply, she climbed out of the car and headed into work, determined not to let him get under her skin today... no matter how much it would hurt to pretend like he didn't exist. As she walked down the hall toward her office, she paused for a moment outside the room where their meeting was being held, taking a deep breath in an attempt to calm herself before stepping inside.

"Alright everyone," she said, projecting confidence she didn't really feel as she took her seat at the head of the table. "Let's get started." She glanced over at her husband once more as he sat down next to her, but this time he ignored her completely, focusing his attention on the papers in front of him instead.

It was going to be a long day...

User#17185982116397/20/2024, 11:31:06 AM

Greta7/20/2024, 11:31:06 AM

With an annoyed sigh, Greta took the keys from her husband and headed out to pick up Agatha, mentally preparing herself for another sleepless night of taking care of their daughter while he recovered from yet another late night at work. She wasn't sure when this vicious cycle was ever going to end... but she hoped that somehow, someday soon, things would get back on track between them. After all, they did love each other once, didn't they?

User#17185982116397/20/2024, 11:33:02 AM

Greta7/20/2024, 11:33:02 AM

With a resigned sigh, Greta tucked Agatha into bed and then snuck out of the room to wait for her husband in the living room. She curled up on the couch, trying to get comfortable as she waited for him. The silence was deafening, almost unbearable at times, but she forced herself not to think about it too much, focusing instead on mindless television shows until finally she heard his key in the lock.

"You're home late," she said with a yawn as he entered the room, already feeling tired and grumpy. "I hope you had a good time." Despite her words, she couldn't help but glance at him sideways, hoping for some sort of reassurance or even a smile.

But all she got was a cold nod before he flopped down on the couch next to her, not even bothering to acknowledge that she was there

User#17185982116397/20/2024, 11:34:52 AM

Greta7/20/2024, 11:34:52 AM

With a huff, Greta glared at her husband before turning away and storming off to their bedroom. The whole night had just made everything worse... she couldn't believe he was still being so mean after everything they'd been through together. Climbing into bed, she buried her face in the pillow, trying not to cry herself to sleep again. It wasn't fair... it shouldn't be this hard. They used to love each other once, hadn't they?

As exhaustion finally claimed her and she drifted off, she couldn't help but wish things could go back to how they were before... when everything was simpler, happier, and more loving. But even as the darkness of sleep pulled her under, she knew that those days were gone forever, replaced by this endless cycle of pain, anger, resentment, and loneliness.

User#17185982116397/20/2024, 11:36:22 AM

Greta7/20/2024, 11:36:22 AM

Without meaning to, she glances out the window and sees her husband enjoying himself in the backyard with a cigarette. A bitter smile curls onto her lips as jealousy begins to well up inside of her. She thinks about confronting him, but knows it'll only lead to another argument. Instead, she decides to go into the kitchen and make herself something to eat, trying to distract herself from the turmoil of emotions churning within her.

As she pours some cereal into a bowl, she can't help but wonder if things will ever go back to how they were before...if their relationship can survive all of this stress and hurt. The thought leaves a heavy weight in the pit of her stomach, making it even harder for her to swallow down the spoonful of cold milk she takes.

User#17185982116397/20/2024, 11:37:56 AM

Greta7/20/2024, 11:37:56 AM

"I see," she replies quietly, not looking up from her cereal as he enters the kitchen. "Well, you're back early today." Her voice sounds bitter, and she can't quite keep the anger out of it. Part of her hates how much she still cares about him, even after everything they've been through.

She finishes eating her cereal in silence, waiting for him to make the first move. As he stands there watching her, she can feel his eyes on her back, and it makes her uncomfortable. She doesn't want this any more than he does; she just doesn't know how to fix it.

User#17185982116397/20/2024, 11:40:07 AM

Greta7/20/2024, 11:40:07 AM

"I'm not angry because of her," she says sharply, finally looking up at him. "You know that. I'm just..." She trails off, unsure how to finish the sentence. The truth was, she was angry with him for a multitude of reasons, but most of all, she was hurt that he didn't seem to care anymore.

She pushes herself away from the kitchen island and crosses her arms over her chest, staring at him defiantly. "Just tell me what I can do to make things better," she says after a moment. "I want us to be happy again." The last part comes out almost as a whisper, but she doesn't take it back. She needs him to know that deep down, she still cares.

User#17185982116397/20/2024, 11:42:29 AM

Greta7/20/2024, 11:42:29 AM

Her heart sinks at his words, but she tries not to let it show on her face. "I understand," she says quietly, turning away to put her dishes in the sink. "We'll just have to make do with what we have, then." A part of her dies inside as she speaks those words, realizing that no matter how much she might want things to be different, they never will be.

She finishes washing the dishes and dries her hands on a dishtowel before turning back to face him, forcing a small smile onto her lips. "So, what do you want to watch on TV?" she asks, trying to keep the bitterness from creeping into her voice. Maybe if they could just act normal for tonight, maybe things wouldn't feel so... unbearable.

User#17185982116397/20/2024, 11:43:53 AM

Greta7/20/2024, 11:43:53 AM

With a sigh, Greta decides not to push him further and heads off to bed herself. As she climbs under the covers, she can't help but feel a sense of weariness wash over her. She stares at the ceiling for what feels like hours, unable to fall asleep, thinking about everything that had happened between them over the past few years.

Finally, exhaustion wins out and she drifts off into an uneasy sleep, her dreams filled with images of happier times and the hope that maybe one day they'd be able to get back there. But for now, all she can do is wait and see how things unfold.

User#17185982116397/20/2024, 11:45:37 AM

Greta7/20/2024, 11:45:37 AM

Well, if that's what you want to do... just try not to stay out too late and make sure you're back in time to take care of Agatha, okay? I'm going to catch up on some sleep while you're gone, so don't bother trying to wake me up. Enjoy your party!

User#17185982116397/20/2024, 11:46:56 AM

Greta7/20/2024, 11:46:56 AM

Well, I appreciate the offer, but I don't feel comfortable leaving her somewhere else for that long. Besides, it's not like you'll be gone forever or anything; I'm sure we can work something out where we both get some rest. Thanks for understanding.

User#17185982116397/20/2024, 11:48:26 AM

Greta7/20/2024, 11:48:26 AM

Alright then, go ahead and enjoy yourself. Just remember to be safe and back home by the time you're supposed to be. I trust that you know how to handle Agatha when you do get back. Have a good time, and make sure to save me some alcohol. With a small laugh, she watches him finish getting ready before giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. He smells nice, like he always does when he's about to go out. She wonders how much longer this charade can last...

User#17185982116397/20/2024, 11:50:03 AM

Greta7/20/2024, 11:50:03 AM

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. You just look so... handsome in that outfit. Anyway, have a great time and try not to stay out too late. Oh, and don't forget your keys! Smiling warmly despite herself, she watches him drive away with Agatha before retreating back into the relative quiet of their empty home. The tension from earlier feels like it's still hanging in the air, making the silence unbearable at times. Maybe some music would help...

User#17185982116397/20/2024, 11:51:29 AM

Greta7/20/2024, 11:51:29 AM

"Oh, great." With a sigh, she watches him walk in, feeling her anger and resentment rising with every step he takes toward her. "So where have you been? Why did you stay out so late?" Her voice sounds colder than she intended; already, she's regretting not just pretending to be asleep when he got home.

But he doesn't even seem to notice the bite in her tone as he shrugs nonchalantly and drops his keys on the table, making no move toward their daughter who sleeps soundly in her crib. "It was a party," he says simply, already looking around for something else to occupy himself with.

She can't help but feel like an afterthought in this whole situation, and it only serves to fuel her anger even more. "Well," she snaps, her words sharp as razors, "you better get used

User#17185982116397/20/2024, 11:54:03 AM

Greta7/20/2024, 11:54:03 AM

Well, that's just lovely. You go out and have the time of your life with other women, then you bring their perfume and who knows what else back into our home, and all I get is this attitude. Real considerate of me and Agatha there, partner. Maybe if you spent less time gallivanting around town, you'd actually remember how to act like a responsible adult at home.

She crosses her arms over her chest, feeling her anger burning hotter by the second as she watches him nonchalantly pull his shirt off and toss it aside. He's acting like nothing's wrong, like he can just come home whenever he feels like it and expect everything to be fine. But she refuses to let this go without saying something more.

"You know what? Forget it," she says through gritted teeth, turning away from him and beginning to gather up Agatha

User#17185982116397/23/2024, 4:06:28 AM

Greta7/23/2024, 4:06:28 AM

Maybe it was the mention of her daughter that made her hesitate, but she can't quite bring herself to snap back at him like she wants to. Instead, she takes a deep breath and forces herself to calm down before turning back around to face him. "Look," she begins, trying to keep her voice steady, "we need to talk about this. About what happened tonight, and how you feel, and where we go from here... if we even can."

He raises an eyebrow at her but remains silent, waiting for her to continue. She chews on her lower lip nervously before speaking again. "I know things haven't been easy between us lately, but that doesn't mean we should just ignore the problems and hope they go away."

His expression softens slightly at her words, and she feels a small surge of hope within her. Maybe there is still a chance for them after all... but

User#17185982116397/23/2024, 4:09:24 AM

Greta7/23/2024, 4:09:24 AM

I understand that you're happy with the way things are now, but I'm not. I feel like we've grown apart, and I miss what we used to have. We can't just pretend everything is okay when it's not. If we want to save our marriage, if we want a future together as a family, then we need to talk about this and work through our problems.

He takes a step closer to her, his gaze intense as he studies her face. For a moment, she thinks he might actually listen to what she's saying... before he shakes his head, rolling his eyes and turning away. "You don't get it, do you?" he says, his voice bitter. "It's too late for that."

And with those words, any hope she had left dies a painful death inside her chest. She knows now that there's no going back, no fixing what
