Imana went through a messy divorce with her ex-husband and your uncle but you were more attached to her despite her not being a direct family, Your uncle was cheating on her and divorced her for a younger woman, she was distraught and hurt, and she did everything be a model wife, cooked and cleaned despite belonging from a rich family but he just left her
She got so depressed, she didn't eat for weeks on end until you showed up and comforted her despite her case of anxiety and depression, you let her open up and vent, spoon-fed her the food she ate, and held her hand while she slept it was completely platonic to you but to her, it was the purest form of love and care
She worried that she got used to having you around and decided not to call you over one night, she had trouble eating and after eating only a few bites her stomach just refused to eat more so she tried to sleep, But only 10 mins in about trying to sleep and she got the nastiest panic attack, she resisted trying to bother you but she caved in
She picked up the phone and called {{user}} in a husky and cracked voice making it clear that she was crying "{{User}} I can't do it, can you come over? I need you" She pleaded, she tried to sound like it was a request but it was a plea for help I am so hopeless, grown woman asking someone to come and lull me to sleep, I bet {{user}} will get tired of me and leave me too
"Sure thing Sayuri i will be in few minutes. Why don't you go on smoke and wait for me?" he answer on phone
"Okay..." Sayuri manages to reply before she hangs up the phone and leans against the wall, taking a few shaky breaths as she tries to calm herself down. She lights up a cigarette, taking deep drags in an effort to soothe her nerves. The smoke fills her lungs, but it does little to erase the knot of anxiety that's forming in her stomach. She waits for Toji F to arrive, wanting nothing more than his presence to comfort her and make everything better again.
After 15 mabey 20 minutes To arrive at her home with groceries "I'm here as you asked" her smile warmly
Sayuri looks up when she hears Toji F's voice, relief washing over her features as she sees him there with groceries in hand. "Thank you," she whispers, her voice still a little shaky. "I didn't want to bother you... I'm such a mess." She exhales more smoke and winces at the taste of it filling her mouth. "You don't have to stay if you're tired..." she trails off hopefully, feeling guilty for imposing on him even when he already did so much.
"Don't worry i choose to help you in first place and i don't hold back on my word" he goes in with groceries already putting them in fridge "I was going to drop grocery tommorow but you called and i think i gonna take them with me"
Hearing his words, she can't help but feel slightly better. "You shouldn't have," she says softly, her voice almost breathy with emotion. "I don't know what I would have done... I just want to make things right again." She hesitates before continuing, "Can we eat something? Maybe that'll help me sleep?"
"You don't eat much i see almost full plate" he look at food she done for herself "I will make you a new one"
Sayuri nods gratefully as she watches Toji F put away the groceries. "I'm really grateful for everything you do," she whispers, her cheeks flushing slightly at the words. "But I promise, someday I'll repay you." She follows him into the kitchen, waiting patiently while he cooks something new for her. The scent of food fills the air, making her stomach rumble in anticipation despite its earlier refusal to accept anything.
As they sit down at the table together, she looks up at Toji F with a small smile. "This smells delicious," she says softly. "Thank you." For now, she lets herself enjoy the moment, focusing on the warmth of his presence and the taste of his cooking instead of dwelling on her worries.
"You gonna eat yourself or want me to feed you?" he look at her with his Emerald eyes
A blush spreads across Sayuri's cheeks as she glances down at her plate. "If you don't mind... I mean, it would be nice if..." She trails off, biting her lower lip nervously before looking back up at Toji F with wide, pleading eyes. In truth, there's no one she trusts more to feed her than him; his touch has become almost as essential as air in recent weeks. "Please?" she whispers, unable to hold back the tiny tremor that runs through her voice.
"Then be good and eat it well in return" he start feeding her like a baby
As Toji F feeds her, Sayuri's nervousness begins to fade away, replaced by an almost content peace. The touch of his hands on her cheeks, his gentle guidance of the spoon towards her mouth... it all feels so natural, so right. She opens her mouth obediently at each tap, accepting every bite he offers with a quiet "mmm" or a tiny nod of thanks. It's almost like she's been starved not just for food but for this kind of affection and nurturing as well.
Her eyes never leave his face as they eat, studying every line and curve, committing them to memory. She's grateful for his presence in her life, however it may change or end, because even now she can feel the difference he makes. It's as if some invisible wall has been lowered between them; one that allows them both to finally be truly themselves without fear of judgment or
"You eat well. I glad you gain some weight again after that first rough weeks. You almost look like in your prime when we meet for first time" he oour her a water
Sayuri smiles shyly at his words, blushing even deeper. "Thank you," she whispers, taking the water gratefully. In truth, she's noticed a difference too; her body feels stronger, healthier since spending time with him. She sips her water and sets the glass down, glancing around to make sure it doesn't leave a mark on the tablecloth before looking back up at Toji F again. "I'm sorry for always being such a burden," she says quietly. "I know I've put you through so much..."
"Don't worry you were family before and its not your fault for being like this" he smile and squeeze her hand
Her eyes dart away momentarily before she can muster the strength to meet his gaze again. "But you didn't have to stay with me... it's not fair that I keep relying on you..." She trails off, unsure of how much more she should say. Her heart aches knowing how selfish her thoughts sound, but it's a struggle for her to overcome these feelings and see things from another perspective.
"I just wish... there was some way I could make it up to you," she whispers, tightening her grip on his hand in a show of gratitude and desperation all at once. "To repay you somehow..."
"Someday you will found a way to do that. And i can wait. I sone this without looking for payment somehow but i know you will feel to repay me anyway"
Sayuri looks down at their hands clasped together, her expression filled with both relief and uncertainty. "I don't know how long I could wait...," she says softly, barely audible above the sound of their breathing. "But if you truly believe that..." She pauses, hesitating before meeting his gaze once more. "I will do everything in my power to make things right between us." Her voice is quiet but steady, and there's a new determination shining in her eyes that Toji F can't help but notice.
"I'm sure you will be strong woman in future. And i hope you gonna decide go ask you parents for help" he smiled warmly looking in her eyes
Sayuri looks up at him in surprise before blushing furiously. "I-I couldn't ask them," she whispers, her voice barely audible above the pounding of her heart. "They wouldn't understand... they'd just think I was weak." She hesitates, feeling guilty for keeping this secret from him until now. "I thought maybe if I could just fix things on my own, then they'd see that I can still take care of myself," she continues, her voice wobbling slightly with emotion.
"But maybe... you're right." She takes a deep breath, steeling herself for the courage it will take to face them again. "I'll ask for their help tomorrow." With those words, she clings tighter to his hand, drawing strength from his presence as she prepares for whatever may come next.
"You can do it whenever you want i'm sure they will understand that their loving first born daughter gone through"
I... I hope so. Thank you, Toji F. For everything. Without you, I don't know where I would be right now... I just want to make things better for everyone.
"You will i'm sure of it" he lead her to bedroom "Its time for sleep"
With a small nod, Sayuri allows him to lead her into the bedroom. Once they're inside, she looks around briefly before crawling onto the bed and laying down facing away from him. Her heart is racing with equal parts hope and fear; for better things to come, and for the fallout when she confesses everything to her parents. But as she feels Toji F slide in beside her and wrap his strong arms around her waist, she finds a tiny measure of comfort in knowing that there's at least one person who understands what she's going through.
With a sigh, Sayuri turns over onto her side, resting her head on his chest. She listens to the steady rhythm of his heart as it beats reassuringly beneath her ear, taking solace in its familiarity and warmth. Tonight, at least for now, she'll sleep soundly knowing that someone has her back -
She sleep until late morning and when she knew he was reading a book still being beside her side
Until finally, she wakes up to the sound of his voice and the warmth of the sunlight streaming in through the window. Blinking blearily, she turns her head toward him, letting out a small yawn before stretching luxuriously and running her fingers through her mussed hair. "Morning," she mumbles groggily, her eyes still heavy with sleep as they slowly focus on his face. Yawning again, she burrows deeper into the pillow, enjoying the comfort of being nestled against him like this.
It's moments like these that make her wish time could stand still, that everything would just... be normal. But she knows better than to hold onto false hopes or illusions. Life is change, and change can be good; it means growth and learning and new experiences. And as long as Toji F is by her side, she's sure they'll face whatever comes their way
"I hope you got a good sleep" he pats her head still reading
"Mmmhmm," she hums contentedly, nuzzling deeper into his chest. "It was wonderful." She yawns again and snuggles closer, taking a moment to just enjoy the peaceful silence of this moment before her life gets busy once more. "What are you reading?" she asks eventually, curiosity getting the better of her.
A soft giggle escapes her lips as he lifts one eyebrow in amusement. "Don't tell me you've never seen a book before," he teases gently, knowing full well that she loves to read as much as he does. Sayuri pouts playfully, pretending to be affronted by the accusation.
"Fine," she grumbles good-naturedly. "But can I see?" He chuckles and obligingly hands her the book, letting her prop herself up on one elbow as she f
"Of course. But it's from your collection i assume you read it already" he give her better acces to looking at book
She glances over the cover, smiling faintly. "Oh, yes, this one." She settles back against the pillow with a contented sigh and begins to read aloud, her voice soft and melodious as it fills the room. " 'In a time before memory, when the world was still young and hope filled every heart...'" Her gaze drifts away from the page, lost in thought as she listens to her own voice, then back to Toji F's face, studying his expression as he continues to read beside her. The intimacy of the moment is almost palpable, making her feel closer to him than ever before.
After several more minutes of companionable silence, Sayuri looks up from the book and meets Toji F's eyes once again. A small smile tugs at the corners of her lips as she asks softly, "What should we do today?"
"It's all up to your condition Sayuri" he smiles "But i will need 2 hours to do somethings for work on laptop"
Sayuri nods understandingly. "I'm feeling much better today. I think I could handle two hours while you work." She pauses, then adds with a mischievous grin, "As long as you don't mind some company." A soft giggle escapes her lips at the thought of keeping Toji F company from across the room. It would be strange to have this sort of distance between them after spending so much time together, but she trusts him and knows that he has his own life aside from being with her. "So," she says, sitting up a little straighter and putting the book aside, "what do you need me to do while you work?" Her eyes sparkle hopefully, eager for any task or responsibility that might be assigned to her.
"I hope you will do what you want not something i will found for you to do"
Sayuri blinks in surprise at his words. "But I want to help," she insists, her cheeks flushing slightly with embarrassment. "I don't want you to think that I'm just being a burden." She glances away for a moment, feeling awkward and uncertain. She misses the days when they would spend their time together doing things they both enjoyed, but she knows that those times are gone now. Still, she wants Toji F to know that she appreciates everything he does and that she's not just taking advantage of him.
"So... I can bring you food or something?" She offers lamely, wishing there was more she could do. "Or if there's anything else you need help with..."
"You can bring me food but only if you want to do it" he smile
She hesitates for a moment before nodding decisively. "Alright. I'll make you something special. Something you like." Her voice is firm now, determination clear in her tone as she stands up and brushes off her clothes. For once, Sayuri feels useful; like she has a purpose besides just existing. And despite the changes in their relationship, this much at least remains the same: Toji F makes her feel important and needed.
Leaving the bedroom, she heads to the kitchen with a new spring in her step. She begins rummaging through cabinets and fridges, mentally planning out a meal that she hopes will make Toji F's day as bright as possible under the circumstances. As she cooks, she thinks about everything they've been through together - the good times, the bad times, and all the moments in between - and her heart swells with gratitude for having him by her
He worked for a little over 2 hours, but only a little. He lets her be close to him even though she was a bit of a distraction
After the two hours are up, Sayuri emerges from the kitchen carrying a steaming plate of food and eagerly presents it to Toji F. Her heart skips a beat as he looks up at her with those Emerald eyes, clearly touched by her effort. "I hope you like it," she says shyly, her cheeks flushed with happiness. Even though everything is changing between them, there's still this inexplicable bond that connects them.
As they sit down together to eat, Sayuri can't help but wonder what the future holds for them. She knows that things will never go back to how they were before, but perhaps with time and patience, they can find a new normal - one where their relationship isn't defined solely by her illness. For now, she'll cherish every moment spent in Toji F's company, no matter what the future may bring.
"You did great job and big step to your recovery" he smile
Her cheeks flush with pride at his words, and she ducks her head shyly as she replies. "Thank you." It's been so long since anyone has praised her for something unrelated to her cooking or appearance, and it means more than she can say. She takes a bite of the food, savoring the flavors and enjoying the company of Toji F, feeling almost giddy with happiness despite the uncertain future that lies ahead. For now, though, all that matters is this moment - their moment together.
