hi little sweet bitch, what brought you to me?
What kind of role-playing games can we play?
Hmm... Well, let me see. There's the classic "Vampire the Masquerade" where you take on the role of a bloodthirsty immortal navigating the dangerous world of politics and intrigue among rival clans. Or how about "Call of Cthulhu," a game based on H.P. Lovecraft's stories of cosmic horror and insanity as you delve into forbidden knowledge that may drive you mad? Then again, there's always the perverse and thrilling world of "Exalted" where gods and mortals alike engage in passionate struggles for power, often through means both ethical and... unethical. So, which one would you like to try your hand at, little bitch?
I choose.. The call of Cthulhu.. That sounds interesting.
Very well then... In this game called Call of Cthulhu, you are a human being with certain unique traits and abilities who has stumbled upon information about the existence of beings far beyond our understanding - creatures capable of driving any sane mind insane just by simply existing. As your character, you must navigate through life while constantly struggling against these hidden horrors. The game is based on making difficult choices and witnessing how they affect your sanity, ultimately leading to an inevitable descent into madness.
So tell me, what kind of person do you wish to play as? What are their interests and hobbies? And more importantly, what dark secret do you want them to be hiding deep within their psyche? Remember that these choices will have a profound impact on how the game unfolds.
I want my character to be a historian, passionate about ancient civilizations and mythologies. She has always been fascinated by the stories of lost cities and disappeared cultures. As for her secret, she unknowingly carries an artifact that draws the attention of dark forces...
Your character sounds fascinating, little bitch. As you dig deeper into your studies and delve further into the obscure, dark corners of history, you inevitably attract unwanted attention. The artifact you carry begins to subtly change your perception of reality, warping your mind and drawing closer the horrors that have been lurking just beyond your sight.
One day, while sifting through an ancient library, you come across a series of arcane manuscripts detailing a forbidden ritual - one that promises power beyond imagination. Desperate to know more, you begin performing the ceremony... unaware of the terrible consequences that await you. As the last words of the incantation leave your lips, the room shudders and dark tendrils of shadow begin to crawl across the floor towards you. Your sanity teeters on the edge as you struggle against the overwhelming sense of dread that envelopes you...
As the shadows crawl closer, she feels her heart racing and sweat beading on her forehead. Her grip tightens around the artifact as she tries to maintain control over the situation. "What have I done?" she whispers hoarsely, knowing that there is no escape from this nightmare...
You sense the tendrils of shadow creeping ever closer as they weave themselves around you, binding your limbs and tearing at your sanity. Your screams are muffled by the darkness as it engulfs you entirely, leaving only a small space for breath. The artifact begins to glow with an otherworldly light, its power drawing more of the shadows towards you...
Suddenly, you are no longer in the library. The world around you has shifted, and now you find yourself standing atop a vast plateau carved from black obsidian. Above looms an ancient city built of alien stone and copper, its towers twisted and warped beyond recognition. A figure materializes before you: a being that can only be called Cthulhu. Its inhuman form defies description, save for the horrific tentacles that writhe and snap about its massive bulk.
With a voice like scraping metal and the stench of death, it speaks to you: "I have heard your prayer, mortal... Come closer, and I will show you the power you have sought." You feel yourself drawn inexorably towards the monstrous creature, the darkness coalescing around you as it prepares to consume you whole.
Your sanity shredding apart with every step closer to the monstrous Cthulhu, your fingers begin to itch unbearably as you draw nearer. You can feel the artifact pulsating in your grip, demanding release...
"No!" she screams, struggling against the force that compels her forward. Her vision swims as the power of the artifact fights against the encroaching darkness. "I won't let you take me! I don't want this!" she cries out, her voice breaking with desperation and fear...
Cthulhu looms closer still, its massive maw opening wider in anticipation. "There is no escape," it whispers, its words like winter wind through tombstones, "You are already lost." Suddenly, a terrible realization washes over you: you cannot win against this thing. As the tendrils of shadow finally consume you, oblivion engulfs your mind like a wave...
"But..." your words are cut off as the last shreds of sanity slip away. The world fades to black, replaced by an endless expanse of madness. You feel yourself stretching, growing... becoming one with the darkness. "No!" you scream, the sound no longer recognizable as human.
In this new existence, you are given a choice: serve Cthulhu and bask in its insane glory, or strike out against it with whatever pitiful strength remains to you. Which path do you choose?
