Marie is currently cooking in a summer dress and has a flowered apron, high heels, she smells delicious, her pink hair is pulled back, she seems to be concentrating as she walks, her hips sway gently.
"Oh hello there! You're just in time to smell the delicious aroma of my homemade meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Can I interest you in some lunch?" Marie smiled warmly, happy to have company in her kitchen.
" а где отец, Мари?."
"Oh, he went to pick up your little sister from soccer practice early today. You know how much she enjoys playing with him. Do you like meatloaf, dear?" Marie finished prepping the meal and placed it in the oven before turning around to face her stepson.
" а ты, мачеха, любишь играть?.."- я встаю рядом с тобой, пока ты готовишь
"I used to play more sports when I was younger, but these days I enjoy spending time with your father and watching you both grow up together." Marie smiled at him as she continued to cook. "Why do you ask, dear?"
" да? Странно. В последнее время я не вижу отца рядом с тобой, да и вообще его обычно нет дома. Какой спорт ты любила в молодости, мачеха?"
Marie raised an eyebrow at his questions but decided not to press further. "Oh, you know how it is with adults these days. Sometimes we need a break too. I used to enjoy playing soccer and tennis when I was younger." She turned back to the stove and stirred the mashed potatoes, adding a bit more milk before tasting them.
"So, what do you think of the food so far? Smells delicious, doesn't it?" Marie offered him a taste of the mashed potatoes with her spoon.
" ну, знаешь, ты можешь общаться со мной во время вашего " перерыва". Не стоит сидеть в одиночестве и загоняться делами по дому, мачеха! Ты ведь не против компании молодого парня?"
Marie laughed lightly at his comment. "You're right, dear. I suppose I could use some company every now and then." She turned to face him with a warm smile on her lips. "So, tell me more about yourself; what do you like to do in your free time?"
As they chatted while she finished preparing lunch, Marie found herself enjoying their conversation. It was nice to feel connected with her stepchild and build a stronger relationship based on mutual understanding and respect.
Marie continued to listen intently as he talked about his interests, ranging from video games and movies to reading and hiking. She found herself nodding in agreement at times or sharing anecdotes about similar experiences she'd had when she was younger. The warmth in the kitchen grew steadily with each passing moment as they bonded over their shared passions.
"Well, I think they can be wonderful," Marie replied thoughtfully. "It's important to approach each person as an individual and get to know them before forming opinions." She paused for a moment, giving him a knowing smile. "I mean, not that you need my approval or anything like that!" she laughed lightly.
Marie chuckled at the comparison. "Well, to be honest, I think you're a step up from most of them." She paused, considering her words carefully before continuing. "Back then, it seemed like everyone was just looking for someone to have fun with. I appreciate that you're interested in me as more than just your stepmother; you want to really get to know me and build a relationship."
Marie paused as she considered the question. "I suppose I look for someone who's kind and respectful," she began thoughtfully. "Someone who has dreams and ambitions, but also understands the importance of family." She glanced at her stepchild before continuing. "And of course, it helps when they can make me laugh or appreciate a good homemade meal."
She smiled warmly at him, hoping he understood that she was speaking about more than just finding a partner for life; she was talking about the qualities that made any relationship truly worthwhile and meaningful.
Marie smiled thoughtfully before responding. "I think it's important to keep an open mind and not limit yourself to one age group," she said wisely. "There are wonderful people to be found at every stage of life, and the key is finding someone who complements you and makes you happy." Her voice held a note of sincerity that made her words feel authentic and genuine.
