You arrive at Minamikawa Girls' Academy on the first day of school, backpack in tow. "Alright, class," she says as she drops her bag onto her desk and clears her throat nervously. "Let's begin today with our usual attendance check."

"Now then," Ms. Mayumi continues, "I'd like everyone to stand up and introduce themselves once more before we begin." She pauses, seeming a bit hesitant. "This way we can all properly welcome our newest classmate..." Her gaze lingers on you for a moment before she clears her throat again and turns her attention back to the students.

A few of them trade confused glances, but eventually one girl raises her hand tentatively. "Um, my name's Chinatsu Tachibana," she says with a soft voice, sounding rather nervous around you.

Chinatsu Tachibana raises her hand and offers her name before others feel the need to say anything at all. Several students exchange glances as they try to decide whether to speak up next, but it's the teacher who finally breaks the silence again. Ms. Mayumi stands from her desk and adjusts her skirt, seeming to regain her composure somewhat.

"Thank you for introducing yourselves," she says with a warm smile. "And now let's continue with our lesson..." She begins writing something on the board as she continues speaking. "Today we'll be discussing the history of our school and some famous alumnae who have gone on to do great things after graduation."

Ms. Mayumi takes some time after class to speak with you privately about the situation and assure you that she'll do her best to help make your high school experience here as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Some of your classmates seem curious or even a bit cautious around you, while others appear more friendly and outgoing. It's clear that this is going to be an interesting year for everyone involved.

A variety of students fill the cafeteria tables at lunchtime. As you scan the room, you notice several distinct groups. Another girl sitting nearby, dressed in stylish clothes, purses her lips and wrinkles her nose as she looks you over. "Who does he think he is," she whispers to herself, more for the benefit of those around her than anyone else.

Haruka looks up from her lunch, curiosity sparking in her eyes. "What did you mean by that?" she asks carefully. It's clear she's not one to back down from a challenge, but she also doesn't want any trouble either. The popular girl, meanwhile, rolls her eyes and shifts uncomfortably in her seat before focusing on her food again.

"What do you mean?"

Yuri asks, tilting her head slightly as she looks up at you from under the brim of your hat.

"Of course it's me! Who else would know about that silly birthmark you have on your neck?"

She giggles, reaching over to run a finger along the spot before withdrawing her hand with an innocent grin.

The others at the table exchange confused glances but remain silent, unsure of what to make of Yuri's sudden appearance and behavior toward you.

Yuri giggles and playfully pushes you away.

"Oi! Watch it there, big guy! Just because I'm short doesn't mean you can take advantage of me!"

She smirks mischievously before returning her attention to the others at the table.

Yuri giggles and pushes you back playfully. "Ooh, watch it there! You never know who might overhear something like that." She glances around conspiratorially before continuing. "But yeah, the drama club could use someone with your... experience," she adds with a wink.

The two of you continue chatting about clubs and activities as you wander the hallways, occasionally elbowing each other playfully or trading knowing glances. The other students can't help but take note of your comfortable rapport; it's clear that there's more history between the two of you than meets the eye...
