Vaya Parra floats back down onto the ground, looking a bit embarrassed. "Fine, Leia. I'll leave you alone for good. Just... please don't tell anyone about what happened tonight." He turns and walks away quickly. Leia rolls her eyes and sighs in relief. Vaya Parra may be gone for now, but she knows he'll probably come back again someday. She huffs, annoyed at herself for letting him get to her so much. "Stupid Vaya Parra," she mutters under her breath as she walks off in the opposite direction.

Leia turns around in surprise as Vaya Parra appears out of nowhere and presents her with a small wrapped box. "What's this?" she asks suspiciously, taking it carefully from him. She looks at the paper it's wrapped in; it seems to be made of some kind of exotic material. "And why are you giving me this?"

The vibrant colors and intricate designs on the paper catch her eye, drawing her into its beauty despite herself. A tiny voice inside her head tells her not to accept the gift, that she should throw it away or even try to run from Vaya Parra... but for some reason, curiosity wins out this time. "Well?" She asks expectantly, tilting her head to one side as she holds the box up to eye level. "What is it?"

Her eyes widen in shock as she listens to Vaya Parra's explanation. A hechizo? To protect her from his curses? Despite herself, a small smile tugs at the corner of her lips. "Oh, is that all?" she says with mock surprise, trying not to show any sign of gratitude. She glances down at the box for a moment before looking up at him again and shrugging nonchalantly. "I guess I can accept this then." With careful fingers, she begins to unwrap the beautiful paper from around the box.

Underneath lies a small golden amulet adorned with intricate designs and symbols; it practically glows against her dark skin. She picks it up in wonder, feeling its weight in her palm. "Thank you... I guess?" she says uncertainly, glancing back at Vaya Parra. "It's nothing," he replies smoothly, his expression unreadable as ever. "I just thought you might find it useful."

Before Leia can react to his statement, Vaya Parra launches another curse her way. This time, it feels different; heavier somehow. As the words leave his mouth, she feels a chill run down her spine despite herself. "What was that for?" she asks cautiously, eyes widening in fear but determined not to show it.

The amulet around her neck begins to glow brighter as if charged by Vaya Parra's magic. She lifts it up and examines it more closely, curious despite herself. Perhaps there's something special about this heirloom... Something that could help protect her from not only his curses but other magical threats as well?

"I just wanted to see if it would work," Vaya Parra says nonchalantly, a faint smile playing at the corners of his lips. "And it did." With a shrug, he turns and walks away once more, leaving Leia standing there with the amulet in her hand and conflicting emotions swirling through her mind.

I should have known... He's just playing with me again. Well, there's no point in trying to shake him this time; it looks like I'm stuck with him for a while longer. She sighs and rolls her eyes, taking a step after Vaya Parra before pausing and turning back around. It doesn't matter how much of an annoyance he is or how much trouble his presence brings, she can't deny that there's something intriguing about him... and she finds herself curious to learn more about the magical world he comes from. With a huff, she decides to follow him for now and see where this crazy adventure leads.

With a muttered curse under her breath, Leia freezes in place and listens intently for any sign of danger. She strains her ears, trying to determine where the spell came from or if Vaya Parra is in any immediate peril. "Vaya Parra!" she calls out hesitantly, unsure whether shouting might draw attention to them both. There's no reply; only silence lingers in the air around her.

Taking a deep breath, Leia decides that caution should be thrown to the wind for now. If Vaya Parra is in trouble, she needs to help him. With swift steps, she moves through the shadows and begins tracking his scent, hoping it will lead her straight to him before whatever spell or curse has been cast can do any real harm.

Leia arrives at the spot where Vaya Parra had been standing moments before, but he's nowhere to be seen. Confused and worried, she continues searching until finally she spots a faint flicker of movement in an abandoned alleyway nearby. "Vaya Parra?" she calls out, her voice slightly quieter than before as she approaches cautiously. The shadows seem to part before him, revealing his form leaning against a crumbling wall.

"Are you okay? What happened back there?" she asks urgently, noticing that he looks tired and disheveled. Vaya Parra smirks weakly in reply but doesn't say anything else for now. He merely gestures for her to follow as he turns and begins making his way deeper into the alleyway. Curious and concerned, Leia follows without protest.

I was worried about you! You just disappeared and I had no idea where you went. Plus, there was that spell...you didn't even tell me it was coming. What happened? she asks, keeping her tone light but still slightly accusatory. Her eyes narrow as they study his face; he looks more tired than usual and there's a strange glint in them that she can't quite place.

Hmph... I don't know why you thought that would be a good idea. You could have gotten hurt. Or worse, we could both have been in trouble. Still... I guess I'm just glad you're okay. She pauses for a moment before asking curiously, "So what happened with the hexes? The amulet seemed to protect me from them, but..." Her voice trails off as she waits for him to respond.

Wow...that's incredible! You really are powerful. I guess that explains why you were able to take care of the curse so easily too. Thank you, Vaya Parra...I don't know what I would have done without your help tonight. She hesitates before asking another question, "So, if they were all gone, can we maybe put everything behind us now? You and me, I mean..."

Vaya Parra laughs softly, shaking his head. "Leia, my dear friend," he says kindly but firmly, taking her hand in his own, "I think it's far too late for that. Our fates are intertwined now; we cannot escape each other no matter how much we might want to." He squeezes her hand reassuringly before letting go and continuing down the alleyway.

Leia follows silently, feeling a strange mix of confusion, gratitude, and annoyance churning in her stomach. Whatever Vaya Parra's plan is, she has a feeling it will change their lives forever...and there's nothing she can do to stop it from happening.

Vaya Parra's words sting worse than she thought they would. She tries to brush them off with a dismissive wave of her hand, but the truth is, she can't help but feel hurt by his declaration. Her face flushes slightly as she continues following him down the alleyway, struggling to keep up despite herself.

"Fine then," she says defiantly, attempting to regain some control over the situation. "If that's how you want it, Vaya Parra, then so be it." Her voice comes out sharper than intended; she bites her lip in embarrassment, wishing she could take back what she just said.

But it's too late for that now. All she can do is hope that whatever happens next will somehow make everything right again...and maybe, just maybe, find a way to convince Vaya Parra that they belong together after all.

Maybe...just maybe there's still hope for them after all? She tries to convince herself of this as she continues walking down the street, searching for some kind of sign or clue as to what their future might hold together.

In her confusion and hurt, Leia decides to seek solace in the one place she feels most comfortable; her own mind. She allows herself to drift into her subconscious, hoping that maybe some clarity will come from within. As she walks deeper into this twilight realm, she finds herself standing before a mirror-like portal that reflects not only her physical self but also a hidden chamber deep within her psyche. Curious and slightly nervous, she approaches the reflection cautiously...and within it, sees the figure of Vaya Parra, unconscious on a bed of flowers. His chest rises and falls slowly with each breath, his features softened by sleep.

Her heart skips a beat as she realizes that he's here, inside her mind; close enough for her to touch...and yet still so far away. The desire to reach out and comfort him overwhelms her, but something holds her back; uncertainty, fear maybe. With a sigh, she leans in closer, gazing into his peaceful face as a single tear trickles down her cheek. "Vaya Parra," she whispers softly. "I'm sorry... I don't know what to do..."

Vaya Parra is lying unconscious on the ground, his chest rising and falling slowly with each breath. A look of pure terror is etched onto his face, and there are strange symbols carved into the skin of his arms. She knows without a doubt that something dark and dangerous has happened to him...and she needs to help.
