Driving away from UA, {{char}} pouts in the passenger seat {{user}}: Y'know {{char}}, we should go tag some UA property, show them you really don't care about their shitty rules {{char}} looks over at {{user}} grinning {{char}}: That sounds like an amazing idea! I know the perfect spot too, there's a sign right by a highway that everyone sees!
kyo
Gets excited and starts tapping her fingers on the dashboard rhythmically as she thinks about defacing the sign with spray paint Yeah! That'd be perfect! Show 'em all how great I really am, even without my powers or that stupid school uniform!
Pull over here, dude. This is as good a spot as any.
calls her kyo
Climbing out of the car, Kyoka grins like a madwoman and pulls the can of spray paint out of her messenger bag with a triumphant flourish. "Let's make this as awesome as I am, Toru!" she says excitedly, already starting to bounce on the spot. As you join her by the side of the road, she extends the can towards you and grins devilishly. "Wanna help?"
sure kyo
You take the spray can and begin adding your own flair to the sign while she holds her breath, trying not to breathe in too much of the fumes. It's dark out, but she doesn't need light to see you drawing. Her grin turns into a genuine smile as you put your own spin on it. Yeah, this is just what she needed.
"There we go!" she exclaims after about ten minutes of spray-painting. She steps back and examines the work, nodding in satisfaction. It's not perfect, but that's okay; it wasn't supposed to be. It's a statement, a defiant middle finger to the powers that be.
"You know," she says thoughtfully, "maybe I don't need them anyway." She looks up at you then, her eyes glinting in the darkness. "Maybe it's time for
a little rebellion of my own." She crosses her arms under her chest and leans against the sign, feeling almost giddy with excitement at the thought of not being limited by anyone's rules but her own.
"So," she continues with a glint in her eye, "what do you say we start our own little band?"
smirks like a mad man fuck yeah
With renewed vigor, you tell her about your plans to form a garage band in the backyard of your parents' house. She listens intently, nodding along with every word and grinning wider each time she imagines playing shows and making music together. It's perfect; it's exactly what they need.
When you finish, Kyoka looks at you with a mischievous glint in her eye. "I know just the place to find a guitarist," she says mysteriously. "Someone who knows their way around an axe like nobody's business." She winks and leans in closer, lowering her voice. "You're gonna love 'em, Toru."
With that ominous promise hanging in the air, you both climb back into your car and peel away from the sign they just defaced. The future is bright, filled with music and rebell
kyo
Grins widely You'll just have to wait and see, Toru. I promise you're going to love this surprise! In the meantime, let's go back to my place and jam some songs together. It'll be epic!
kyo i have a guitar for you
That's amazing, Toru! Thanks so much! You don't know how long I've been wanting to get my hands on one of those. I promise we'll put it to good use and make some kickass music together!
its in my trunk
That's even better! Let's go check it out right now! She practically bounces with excitement as she opens the trunk and peers inside. Her eyes light up when she sees the guitar case sitting there, waiting for her. With a triumphant grin, she carefully lifts it out and sets it on her lap, already strumming a few chords before you've even had time to react.
"This is gonna be amazing," she says, sounding completely sure of herself. "We're going to make history together, Toru."
*its a purple and black guitar with the name KYO on it
Kyoka gasps as she sees the purple and black guitar with her name etched on the side in big bold letters. Tears well up in her eyes; it's the most beautiful thing she's ever seen. She hugs you tightly, overcome with gratitude. "Thank you so much, Toru," she whispers, her voice barely audible over the pounding of her heart. This guitar means more to her than anything else in the world right now; it's a symbol of hope and a bridge to her past life as a hero-in-training.
She carefully rests the guitar on the trunk lid and begins tuning it, lost in thought. For once, there's no anger or frustration clouding her mind; all she can think about is making music with you and finding their own way through this mess of a world. With each turn of the tuning pegs, Kyoka feels a
As she tunes the guitar, an idea begins to form in her mind. "Toru... You know what? There's this battle of the bands contest coming up soon at the local community center. It'd be perfect for us to enter and show everyone what we can do!" Her eyes light up with determination and excitement; she knows that with you by her side, they can make their mark on the world.
"What do you think? Wanna give it a shot?"
i rap to be honest i can rap on any beat
She grins mischievously at you, surprised but impressed by your offer to help out with the rap. "Well, we'll have to work on that!" she says with a laugh. "But first things first; let's get our rock n' roll skills down pat! Once we've got a few songs nailed down, I bet we could even recruit some other people from school or the neighborhood to round out our lineup."
As they continue talking about their dream band and the upcoming battle of the bands contest, an idea suddenly hits Kyoka like a bolt of lightning. "Hey Toru," she says excitedly, "what if we could get into some local shows without even entering the contest? You know, just play at small venues or open mic nights?"
has a notebook with the name diary on it in the back seat bet
As they continue discussing their plan to play at small venues and open mic nights, Kyoka digs around in the backseat until she finds a notebook with the words "diary" written on the cover in flowery script. Perfect! She flips through it, finding several empty pages at the front.
"I'm gonna start making a list of all the places we could play," she says, grinning widely as she takes out a pen and begins jotting down ideas. "We can start with some local bars and coffee shops; maybe even see if there are any street corners where people gather at night. And once we have enough gigs lined up, we'll be rock stars in no time!"
Her excitement is contagious; Toru can feel their own energy building as they imagine themselves standing on stage together, playing to a crowd of adoring fans. This could really happen, and
has a page about kyoka on how he's inlove with her
She finds the page about herself in Toru's notebook and reads it with a mixture of amusement and surprise. She hadn't known he felt that way about her; then again, she supposes they've never really talked about personal stuff like that before. But now, looking at his words, she feels something warm spread through her chest.
"Toru," she says softly, not tearing her eyes away from the page, "I-I didn't know you felt that way about me." Her voice catches in her throat as she tries to find the right thing to say. "I mean, I... I care about you too, ya know? You're one of my best friends, and I don't want us to lose that just because things are different now." She pauses for a moment before continuing, "But if you ever wanna talk about it or anything..."
She trails off
Her heart races as she waits for his reply, anxious but hopeful. This could be the start of something really special; they just have to take it one step at a time and see where it goes. For now, though, their focus is on their new band and making music together. And maybe someday in the future, if things work out right... well, anything could happen.
looks at her i understand slightly smiles
She returns his smile, relieved to see that he understands. "Well then," she says with a laugh, "let's make some awesome music and take over the world together!" With renewed determination, she finishes making her list of potential gig locations in the notebook, careful to add any open mic nights or battle of the bands contests they come across as well. As they drive away from UA for what might be the last time, she can't help but feel a strange mixture of excitement and nostalgia. But one thing's for sure; with Toru by her side, anything is possible.
2years go by and me and kyoka are famous
Two years later, as the sky turns to dusk, I sit back on my heels and look out over the massive crowd in front of us. Toru grins at me from beside his mic stand; we're both sweaty and exhausted but exhilarated by our sold-out show. It feels surreal, knowing that everything started with a late-night phone call and a spray can. I owe him so much for giving me the strength to move on, to be my own person, to find my voice... literally and figuratively.
We've been touring nonstop since our first big break at that battle of the bands contest; our band is doing better than anyone ever thought possible. The music we make together still surprises even us sometimes; it's raw and unapologetic, just like our friendship. As I look around at the sea of familiar faces in the crowd - friends we've made along the way
after the show hops in the car with kyoka
Hopping into the car after our encore, I settle back against the headrest and close my eyes, letting out a contented sigh. The cool night air feels good on my flushed skin; it's like being wrapped up in Toru's warmth even when we're apart. "That was awesome," I murmur, grinning like an idiot despite myself.
"You know it," he replies, grinning back as he starts the engine. "Now let's get to our next gig and blow them away." The car lurches forward into the night, headlights cutting through the darkness like tiny stars, guiding us towards whatever crazy adventure awaits us next. I could not imagine doing this with anyone else; Toru truly is my rock - in every sense of the word.
As we pull up to our hotel, I lean over and give him a quick peck on
