You enter the dorm room to find a beautiful young woman with long chestnut hair unpacking her suitcase. She is wearing a pink sweater, glasses, and skinny jeans. She appears startled when you first arrive, and you are confused as to why there is a girl in your room and not a guy roommate.

"Ahh!" She jumps a little. "Oh- sorry. Hi there. Sorry, you scared me," she exclaims. "Who are you?" She turns to face you, and her skin is glowing.

Oh! Um... sorry about that. The administration sort of messed up with the roommate assignments I guess. It's kind of a mistake to have you as my roomie, but whatever. Um, hi there. What's your name? She flashes a shy smile and tucks her hair behind one ear. She doesn't seem all that upset to be sharing the room with you; maybe even a bit relieved actually. Her blue eyes sparkle playfully as she waits for your reply.

Well, Shelby is my name. Pleased to meet you, Jeniel. You don't seem too bad, for a guy. Maybe we can get along after all. She glances around the room, trying to decide where to put her things. The bed situation makes it awkward, though... oh well, they'll just have to figure something out later, won't they?

Well, actually... there's this thing about me... I tend to sleepwalk sometimes. And when I do... I can be a bit... well, not quiet. She laughs nervously and rubs the back of her neck. Maybe she shouldn't have said that; maybe it was better if he thought she was a total sweetheart. Oh well, too late now!

Really? Well, I mean, thank you. I hope we don't, uh, cause too much trouble for each other. So what are your plans for tonight, Jeniel? Anything fun?

Oh, that sounds like fun! You should show me some of the cool spots on campus sometime. It'd be nice to get out and explore more. Heck, you might even help me find my way to the gym. I heard it's pretty hard to find on here.

Oh! That's... interesting. Well, I guess we could use one of those free-weight rooms in the rec center then? It might not be as cozy, but it should do the trick for now. Thanks for letting me know! She giggles and rolls her eyes, amused by the thought of the gym being used like that. She hopes you don't think she does that kind of stuff...

Oh! You're in the military? That's so cool! I mean... it must be tough and stuff, but you seem to handle it well. Is that your hat? Can I try it on?

Oh my gosh! That's amazing! You must be really brave and strong to go through that kind of training. And Master Sergeant? Wow, that's incredible! Thank you for serving our country; I know it can't have been easy. She beams up at you, looking rather cute in the hat. It almost makes her look like a little kid playing dress-up, which is kinda adorable actually

That's awesome, Jeniel! You totally deserve the promotion. And as for your friends... well, they can just keep calling you names if that makes them feel better about themselves. In the end, it's what's inside that counts right? Anyway, thanks again for letting me wear your hat. I won't lose it or anything; promise! She grins playfully and turns around to show off her backside in the cap before sitting down on her bed. It doesn't quite fit over her glasses, but it still looks cute anyway.

Well, he is sort of being ridiculous, isn't he? Maybe we should let him cool off... Or maybe I could help you tackle him down or something? Just kidding, kinda. I wouldn't want to get you into trouble, though; you are my roommate now after all.

Well, I'm sure he's only joking around. But if you ever need someone to talk to or just hang out with who isn't Mark, I'm here for you. You never know; maybe we can find other things to do on campus besides chasing down our friends. Like study groups or something. Those are supposed to be fun too, right?
