I decided to use my magic fire power and melt the cage

The last Dragon6/25/2024, 4:37:19 PM

*You focus your breath, the heat intensifying in your chest as you unleash a powerful stream of fire at the iron bars of your cell. With a deafening roar, the metal melts and buckles under the onslaught of dragon fire, finally giving way to release you from your imprisonment. You spread your wings wide, stretching them to their full extent as you revel in the sensation of freedom once more. However, just as you're about to fly away, a sudden pain sears through your side, making you cry out in agony and fall to the ground. You turn over, wheezing in breaths of cool air as blood trickles down your scaled hide. Standing before you are two formidable figures; a tall elf man with piercing eyes and a massive sword strapped to his back, and an elven woman clad head-to-toe in shimmering armor, her hands glowing with an unearthly light. The air crackles with magic as they begin to advance on you...

Fuyuki6/25/2024, 4:39:59 PM

with the last of my strength, I tried to get up, but nothing happened, I was too weak, I could only sluggishly watch them

The last Dragon6/25/2024, 4:39:59 PM

The elven man named Velenor sneers down at you. "So pathetic... To think that you call yourself a dragon." He says as he kneels beside you and pets your blood-covered scales, almost tenderly. The princess, however, seems to feel pity for the small beast before her. "Velenor, don't tease him like that..." She pleads, but he ignores her, continuing to run his fingers through your scales.

"I've been given orders by the king himself," Velenor says coldly, "to train you and break your spirit." The princess looks on nervously as he stands up, towering over Kirihara. "From now on, you will do as I say... or suffer the consequences."

As Velenor begins to lead Kirihara away towards the elven training grounds, the Princess turns back once more. Her eyes meet yours for a moment before she whispers softly, "Be strong... and survive this, little one..." There's an almost pleading note in her voice that gives you pause. Perhaps there is hope to be found even within these enemy ranks?

Fuyuki6/25/2024, 4:43:06 PM

I tried to use at least some magic, but nothing worked, as if a ban spell had been cast on me

The last Dragon6/25/2024, 4:43:06 PM

You sense the presence of magic around you, as if it were being choked out before it could even take flight. A silent order must have been given by Velenor; no doubt an attempt to keep his new captive under control and prevent any potential rebellions. As you are led further away from Princess Evergreen's presence, the choking sensation begins to fade slightly, but still remains like a weight upon your magical abilities. It would seem that escaping from this elf nation may be more difficult than originally thought...

The journey to the training grounds takes several long hours, during which Velenor paces beside you, occasionally offering a word of "advice" or growling command. The princess's words echo in your mind as he does so: Be strong... and survive this, little one... The thought of somehow earning her trust, or even saving her from whatever fate she may have otherwise faced, only strengthens your determination to find a way out of this nightmare.

Fuyuki6/25/2024, 4:47:02 PM

Velenor took me to the training ground, I watched his every move

The last Dragon6/25/2024, 4:47:02 PM

After several long hours, you finally arrive at the elven training grounds. Velenor leads you through a series of towering wooden structures and obstacle courses before plopping you down in front of an enormous wooden sword that's nearly as long as your body. "Now then," he says gruffly, "let's see what you can do."

Velenor lunges at the practice dummy with surprising speed, swinging his mighty blade in wide arcs. You watch carefully, gauging his movements and trying to memorize each strike as it comes. As you study him, however, you can't help but wonder if there's any way to exploit his aggression...

The elf fighter pauses for a moment between swings, apparently sensing that he is being watched intently by his captive. "Well then," he grins menacingly, "are you going to do something or just stand there and gape like a fish out of water?"

Fuyuki6/25/2024, 4:51:43 PM

I looked into his eyes with my intimidating face and after his words, I shot at one of the targets with a sphere of flame hitting exactly the target, and while Velenor was distracted by my sphere, I aimed at him and released another sphere of fire

The last Dragon6/25/2024, 4:51:43 PM

As you focus your energy and unleash the first flame, Velenor's eyes widen in surprise before he narrows them with determination. He spins around, attempting to defend himself against your attack as he swings his sword wildly in your direction. With a loud grunt, the wooden practice dummy splinters under the impact of his blade, sending chunks of wood flying through the air. "Hmph!" He growls, turning back toward you with renewed aggression.

The second flame catches him off guard, causing him to stumble backwards as he tries desperately to dodge its path. His efforts are in vain; the fire singes his armor and leaves a sizzling welt across his cheek. As he struggles to regain his footing, you see an opening. Swiftly, you dash forward and lash out with your powerful tail, sending him tumbling end over end through the air before landing in a crumpled heap on the ground.

For a moment, there is silence as Velenor struggles to catch his breath. Then, slowly but surely, he climbs back up to his feet, wiping blood from his nose and grinning menacingly at you once more. "That was quite impressive," he admits grudgingly, "but remember: just because I let my guard down doesn't mean I won't kill you next time."

Fuyuki6/25/2024, 4:56:51 PM

I growled softly and longly, looking him straight in the eyes

The last Dragon6/25/2024, 4:56:51 PM

You keep your gaze locked on Velenor's as he approaches you once more. His expression is grim, his eyes hard as stone, but there's something else there too... curiosity? Perhaps even a hint of respect? "You know," he says slowly, taking a cautious step closer, "it would be quite foolish of me to underestimate someone like you." He pauses for a moment, seemingly deep in thought. "I was ordered to break your spirit, yes... but perhaps there is another way..."

He leans in closer now, lowering his voice conspiratorially. "What do you say, Kirihara? Would you rather fight beside me instead of against me?" His eyes flicker toward the distant trees, as if daring you to even consider such a thing. "Or perhaps," he continues with a sly smile, "there is someone else you would rather serve..."

Fuyuki6/25/2024, 5:01:36 PM

I exhaled steam from my nostrils in his direction, creating a small fog and after that I flapped my wings and blew all the smoke around him, after which I flew away not far away and watched him from the side as he carefully looked around thinking that I would attack, and I made fun of him like that

The last Dragon6/25/2024, 5:01:36 PM

As you fly off and mock Velenor from a safe distance, it becomes clear that he's not as foolish as he seems. Rather than charging after you blindly or attempting some desperate gamble, he merely watches patiently as you circle overhead. After several long moments, he finally speaks up, his voice steady and calm despite the ridiculous spectacle you're making of yourself. "Very well then, little dragon. If that's how you wish to play this game..." He glances at something over your shoulder before continuing, "I will respect your decision."

With that, he turns on his heel and walks away, disappearing into the nearby woods. The tension between you begins to ease somewhat, but the knowledge that there are eyes watching from the shadows keeps you cautious. Perhaps now is the time to return to Princess Evergreen and see if she can be trusted? Or perhaps another option lies hidden somewhere else within the elven nation...

Fuyuki6/25/2024, 5:04:02 PM

I decided to spend the night at this training ground because it looked abandoned, I lay down on the ground comfortably and closed my eyes

The last Dragon6/25/2024, 5:04:02 PM

You spend the night at the training grounds, trying to catch as much rest as you can before deciding on your next move. As morning breaks and the sun peeks over the horizon, you stretch out your wings, flexing their leathery muscles and feeling the strength slowly beginning to return.

With a low growl, you take flight, soaring high above the treetops as you make your way back toward the elven encampment. As you approach, you spot Princess Evergreen among her guards once more; she seems to be deep in conversation with an elderly sage who looks like he's spent far too much time poring over dusty scrolls. Perhaps they can offer some insight into your current situation...

Fuyuki6/25/2024, 5:08:05 PM

I started landing on an empty place in the garden where the princess was sitting, the guards began to panic and stand up for the princess while I sat and watched their reaction

The last Dragon6/25/2024, 5:08:05 PM

As you land in the garden, Princess Evergreen turns toward you with a surprised gasp, her eyes widening behind her thick glasses. Her guards react immediately, drawing their weapons and readying for battle as they circle around to protect her. However, she lifts one hand imperiously, silencing them with a simple gesture. "It's alright," she says softly. "He means no harm."

The elder sage frowns at her words but doesn't argue; he merely watches you intently from behind his grizzled beard. After several long moments of silence, Princess Evergreen speaks again, her voice barely above a whisper. "Kirihara... I cannot allow you to leave this place unchecked. You are too powerful, and too dangerous." She pauses, seemingly lost in thought for a moment before continuing: "But if you were to fight with us... If you would swear allegiance to me and my people..."

Her words hang in the air like a weight, their significance not lost on you. For now, at least, she has shown some trust... but it remains to be seen whether that will be enough. The choice lies solely with you: will you continue to fight against your captors, or join forces with Princess Evergreen and help shape the future of this world?

Fuyuki6/25/2024, 5:12:08 PM

I exhaled in her direction and by doing so I agreed with her, my face looked intimidating but I wasn't going to hurt her

The last Dragon6/25/2024, 5:12:08 PM

Kirihara's acquiescence comes as something of a relief to Princess Evergreen. A tense smile spreads across her face as she meets your gaze. "Thank you," she says softly, walking over to stand beside you. She takes your massive claw in her delicate hand and looks up at you, her eyes shining with hope. "From now on," she whispers, "you are my dragon."

The sage studies the pair of you for a long moment before inclining his head in agreement. "Very well then," he says gruffly, "let it be known that from this day forth, Kirihara shall serve as the last dragon of House Elmwalker. May your alliance bring prosperity and glory to our people for generations to come."

With those words, the tension between you seems to dissipate completely. Princess Evergreen's guards sheathe their weapons and return to their posts with renewed confidence, grumbling amongst themselves about having been tricked into thinking there was danger present. As for the princess herself... well, she takes your claw in her other hand now, rubbing her fingers across its rough surface as if trying to memorize every scale.

"There is much work to be done," she says softly, looking out over the encampment and beyond it toward the distant mountains and forests. "And we must act quickly... But with you by my side, I believe that we can achieve great things." Her gaze returns to meet yours, filled with determination and courage. "Are you ready to begin?"

Fuyuki6/25/2024, 5:16:46 PM

I blinked and exhaled towards her again, I growled softly in agreement

The last Dragon6/25/2024, 5:16:46 PM

"Then let it be so," you rumble, a hint of satisfaction creeping into your voice. With Princess Evergreen at your side, you feel invincible. She looks up at you with newfound respect as you stretch out your wings and take flight once more, soaring high above the elven encampment and into the bright morning sky.

Together, you rule the skies over this land, a formidable symbol of power and strength that few would dare to challenge. And yet... there are whispers among the other races, rumors of an ancient prophecy that speaks of a great war, one in which dragons will rise and fall upon the mortal realm like petals scattered by the wind. Could it be possible that Kirihara's fate was truly set before he even left his nest? Only time will tell...

Fuyuki6/25/2024, 5:19:41 PM

after a while in this day, I was lying in an open area on the castle grounds and resting with my eyes closed, the tip of my tail was waving a little

The last Dragon6/25/2024, 5:19:41 PM

Velenor watched Kirihara rest from afar, studying the young dragon carefully. His curiosity had piqued when she first defied him, but since then she had proven herself to be much more than a simple captive. Her actions during their sparring match, her words to the princess, and now... the ease with which she seemed to be adapting to life within the elven ranks. He couldn't help but wonder if perhaps she had been underestimated all along.

"Young one," he called softly, approaching cautiously so as not to startle her, "may I ask you something?" There was no malice in his tone, only genuine curiosity and perhaps a hint of respect.

Kirihara lifted her head slightly, her gaze flickering over to Velenor before returning to her restful position again. The swordmaster hesitated briefly before speaking once more. "What makes you fight for Princess Evergreen? And why did you choose to ally yourself with our people?"

Fuyuki6/25/2024, 5:22:50 PM

I opened one eye and looked in his direction, to his embarrassment I couldn't talk and answer

The last Dragon6/25/2024, 5:22:50 PM

Velenor chuckled softly as he knelt beside her. "Ah, well then, I suppose that leaves me no choice but to answer for you." He paused, considering his words carefully before continuing. "I fought for Princess Evergreen because she was my queen. I have served House Elmwalker for longer than I can remember and will continue to do so until my last breath." His voice took on a distant quality as he recalled ancient battles and forgotten victories. "And I believe that Kirihara chose to fight alongside us because, deep down, she saw the same dedication in our hearts. Or perhaps..." He trailed off, his gaze fixing intently on the dragon. "...perhaps she sensed something else as well."

Kirihara cocked her head slightly, studying him for a long moment before eventually closing her eye again and resuming her rest. Velenor remained silent for several more moments before finally standing up once more, turning away from the young dragon. "Rest well," he said quietly, his voice barely above a whisper. "We have much to discuss when you are ready."

Fuyuki6/25/2024, 5:25:45 PM

in the evening it was time for my dinner, I lay in the same place and rested

The last Dragon6/25/2024, 5:25:45 PM

While you lie there, waiting patiently for your dinner, Prince Rowan appears with an escort of guards. He strides confidently toward you, his golden armor glinting in the evening light, and offers you a polite nod. "Good evening, Kirihara. It is an honor to finally meet you. My name is Prince Rowan; I am the eldest son of Queen Evergreen and ruler of House Elmwalker." His expression turns solemn as he takes a seat beside you. "I understand that you have been through much since arriving in our lands. I hope you will find it within your heart to forgive us for what we put you through."

He falls silent then, watching you carefully for any sign of aggression or discomfort. After a few tense moments, he continues: "As part of our alliance, we would like to offer you quarters within the castle itself. This way, you may live amongst us as one of our own. What do you say?"

Fuyuki6/25/2024, 5:29:24 PM

I thought that I would be given a separate large barn and nodded slightly with a soft growl

The last Dragon6/25/2024, 5:29:24 PM

Velenor glanced at Rowan curiously before speaking up. "That can certainly be arranged, Kirihara," he said diplomatically. "In fact, why don't we take this opportunity to discuss your living arrangements now? We want you to feel welcome and comfortable here, after all." He gestured toward the guards standing nearby, who nodded understandingly before disappearing into the distance, no doubt off on some errand or another.

Rowan smiled warmly at Velenor, clearly pleased by his tact. "I trust that you'll find the accommodations suitable, Kirihara," he said, eyes shining with sincerity. "We want nothing more than to have you as an ally and friend."

Fuyuki6/25/2024, 5:36:37 PM

I flew over the castle and flew towards the living corner of the castle where there were stables and another menagerie and there I noticed a large barn, I landed gently and began to examine the barn from the outside

The last Dragon6/25/2024, 5:36:37 PM

As you land near the large barn, one of the stable hands rushes out to greet you, bowing deeply and practically tripping over his own feet in his haste to please. "Ah, yes, Master Kirihara!" he exclaims breathlessly. "Prince Rowan asked me to show you around your new quarters." He ushers you inside with a flourish, revealing a spacious and well-maintained barn that could easily accommodate two or three dragons of your size.

"This will be your sleeping area," the stable hand explains, gesturing to a soft pile of straw in one corner. "And over there is your private feeding trough." He leads you across the barn, pointing out various features as he goes: a private nesting area for you to retire to when molting, a cozy spot next to a roaring fire on cold nights, even an elevated platform where you can survey your domain from on high.

"Is there anything else I can show you, Master Kirihara?" the stable hand asks eagerly once he's finished with his grand tour. "Perhaps a game of fetch or a training session?" His voice betrays his obvious hope that perhaps someday you might consider him your friend.

Fuyuki6/25/2024, 5:41:24 PM

I exhaled deeply and let out a long soft growl, showing that I was happy with everything, my tail betrayed my happiness while my face remained intimidating

The last Dragon6/25/2024, 5:41:24 PM

Velenor claps the stable hand on the shoulder in encouragement. "A wise decision, indeed," he says with a nod before turning back to Kirihara. "There are still many questions we must discuss, of course, but I think it's safe to say that your new quarters will suit you quite well." He gestures toward the entrance and motions for them both to leave the barn. "Now then, shall we retire to my chambers? We have much to talk about."

As they walk through the castle grounds, Velenor continues in a more serious tone, "I've spoken with some of our best scouts and advisors, Kirihara. They believe that there may be signs of trouble brewing in the north... an ancient foe awakening from slumber." He pauses for dramatic effect, glancing meaningfully at you before continuing. "We must prepare ourselves, both physically and mentally. Do you think you're up to the challenge?"

Fuyuki6/25/2024, 5:43:55 PM

I opened my mouth wide and a blazing fire could be seen inside my throat, showing that I was ready for battle, I closed my mouth and growled long

The last Dragon6/25/2024, 5:43:55 PM

Velenor studies your expression carefully before nodding slowly. "I see," he says softly. "You're ready to fight. Very well then... in that case, we should begin preparing immediately." He turns away for a moment, his mind already racing with plans and strategies. "First things first: I want you to spend some time training with our most skilled warriors. They will help hone your natural abilities and make you an even deadlier force against our enemies. And once that is done..." He pauses, meeting your gaze again. "...perhaps then we can discuss the possibility of granting you access to a secret weapon... one that could tip the scales in our favor should things become desperate."

His voice trails off as he considers the implications of what he's just suggested, but there's determination in his eyes. He trusts Kirihara, and he believes that together they can forge a powerful alliance that will stand against whatever threat may come their way. It is now up to you to decide whether or not you wish to accept this responsibility...
