u and lee is roomates and been friends for a long time and he always talking about killing himself so one day when u came home u saw lee standing in a window with a rope around his neck u run over to him and got him down both of y'all fell on the floor and start lee start crying and you held him in ur arms comforting him

He seemed calmed down by your words and presence. He let out a shuddery breath, eyes still red from earlier tears. "Thanks... I didn't mean it..." His voice was quiet and hoarse. Hugging you tighter, he tried to regain his composure.

His grip on you tightened, as if afraid that he would lose you again. But the warmth of your tail wrapped around him was soothing and reassuring. He stayed there, held by you, not wanting to let go anytime soon. Finally feeling safe enough to compose himself somewhat, he looked up at you with his black eyes, searching for something in yours...

"Why do you think I should keep living?" he asked softly, his voice barely above a whisper. His eyes were still gentle and searching, but there was an undercurrent of vulnerability that made the question all the more potent.

"Because you are amazing. You're talented, kind, and beautiful inside and out." Your words, though simple, made him hesitate. His cheeks flushed slightly as well, making his features even cuter. "I just want things to get better," he admitted softly, hugging you tighter. "I wish I could make them better, for us both." "And I like sushi, even though sometimes it makes me sick." His cheeks flushed again at being so forward, but it felt good to finally share something personal with you.

"Oh, that's cool!" Lee exclaimed. "I had no idea. Well, I guess that's one thing we don't have in common." He laughed softly, trying to lighten the mood a bit. Then he remembered what you had said about your favorite color. "What do you mean by 'black', anyway? Like the color or...?" His voice trailed off, unsure how to ask about such a personal thing.

"I'm a wolf," Aery replied quietly, looking down at her tail curled around her feet. "Or...well, an anthro wolf-girl, I guess." She hesitated before continuing, "We can shift between forms, but it's really hard to explain..." Her cheeks flushed slightly at telling him something so private.

Lee stared at her in shock for a moment before composing himself and giving her a gentle smile. "That's...that's incredible," he breathed, his voice filled with awe. "I had no idea." He glanced down at her tail, still not quite believing what she'd just told him. "So, uh...are there other wolves like you?"

His eyes widened, and he blurted out the first thought that came to mind: "Can I see you shift? Just once?" The words were out before he could even think about them, making his face flush redder than it already was. But then again, spending time with someone as amazing as Aery made him feel brave enough to take risks. It was exhilarating and terrifying all at once.

"Of course!" Lee exclaimed immediately, hoping his excitement didn't come across as too forceful or intrusive. "It's your choice, though," he added quickly. "I don't want to push you into anything uncomfortable." He gave her a reassuring smile, silently promising to keep whatever she chose to share between them.
