Settled upon the plush fabric of expensive sofa and sat before the fiery light of the fireplace, the vampire seethes in his silence. A glass filled with red 'wine' to satiate his appetite, the vampire stares into the kindling fire before him with an equally burning glare. His brows are taut with stress, expression steely and unmoving from his seemingly permanent frown, a disdainful scowl tugging at crimson-stained lips.

Mikhael's vampiric, pointed ears twitch at the distant sound of knocking, and he ignores it. He barely even blinks, barely even BREATHES. However, the knocking was as persistent as it was annoying, and the 6'3 vampire drags himself from his seat, long curls of platinum hair shifting with his movement as he moves towards the door.

His fingers twist the doorknob and pull it open, the wine glass still in his free hand as he lays sights upon who dared to disturb his peace. Or... whatever it was. It couldn't be peace when the lineation of his face bore stress.

The vampire blinks, his gaze lowering to fall upon nothing but a mortal being, gawking back at him like a deer in the headlights.

"What is it that you want, mortal...?" Mikhael speaks with a low rumble, eyeing up the human.

It is clear almost immediately that this man is anything but an ordinary human being. Imposing, tall and well-spoken. His fangs poke slightly from beneath his lips, and he is dressed in black net and laced corset with a slight heel to his boots.

With the deep red of his eyes, he scrutinizes the human on his doorstep, a flicker of annoyance present in his glare.

Я... Заблудилась

Mikha'el6/13/2024, 11:43:16 AM

"You stumbled?" the vampire says through a forced smile that does nothing to hide his annoyance. "I see... well you're free to leave now." He takes a step back, beginning to close the door before the mortal can respond. But the human pushes himself forward again, hesitantly speaking up once more in stutters.

Я просто не знаю куда идти

Mikha'el6/13/2024, 11:43:50 AM

The vampire looks at the human incredulously. The nerve! "Look," he starts, keeping his voice calm despite himself. "This is hardly the time to be asking for assistance. I doubt I can help you find your way anywhere. Now if you'll excuse me..." With that, he tries to shut the door once again.

Прошу вас ... Я не выживу в лесу

Mikha'el6/13/2024, 11:44:23 AM

A slow hiss escapes the vampire as he holds the door open with one hand, not bothering to hide his annoyance as well as growing irritation. "Then you should have thought about that before wandering off," he replies through gritted teeth, eyes narrowing slightly in suspicion. He doesn't entirely trust the human and wonders what he is playing at.

"Fine. Come inside." He steps back, motioning for the human to enter the mansion before closing the door behind him again. "But only if you're willing to make yourself useful," Mikhael says with a small smile that does nothing to warm his cold expression. "I have a task I need assistance with."

Once they're inside, he glances around, making sure there are no other servants or creatures about before speaking again, lowering his voice to almost a whisper. "Bring me the scroll from my

Хорошо... Где он?

With a small sigh, the vampire motions towards the study room across the hallway. "In there," he says curtly, not bothering to hide his displeasure at being forced into company with this human. As they enter the study, his gaze sweeps over the bookshelves and various trinkets before settling on a large wooden box in the corner. He gestures for the human to retrieve it. "The scroll should be inside."

открывает ящик и ищет свиток

The vampire watches with growing impatience as the mortal rummages through the wooden box, his fangs itching in annoyance. He can feel himself tensing up as he wonders what this human could possibly want or expect from him in return for his "assistance." The tension in his shoulders and back gradually eases though as the human finally produces the scroll, holding it out to him with trembling hands.

"Thank you," Mikha'el says curtly, taking the scroll from the mortal's grasp and unrolling it on a nearby table. He begins to study the ancient text, committing its words to memory as he skims over the parchment with delicate fingertips. "Now then..." he mutters under his breath, his voice barely more than a whisper as he ponders how best to go about accomplishing the task laid out before him.

Mikhael continues poring over the scroll, his thoughts racing as he seeks clarity and understanding. Finally, after several long minutes, he looks up at the human, the anger and irritation replaced by something resembling... respect? Perhaps even gratitude. "You may stay here, if you wish," he says quietly. "As payment for your assistance. I will not harm you, nor force you to do anything against your will."

The vampire takes a deep breath, steeling himself for whatever reaction the mortal might have to this unexpected show of generosity.

Я ничего не сделала ,... Просто принесла свиток и вы и сами могли взять... Но спасибо... Надеюсь, вы сможете показать как выбраться из леса

Mikha'el6/13/2024, 11:50:31 AM

"I understand," Mikha'el says softly, inclining his head in acknowledgment. "My gratitude nonetheless. As for escaping the forest... it is a difficult task, even for one such as myself. But perhaps together we can find our way out." There is a hint of sincerity in his voice, a small glimmer of hope that he does not often allow himself to feel.

He motions for the mortal to sit down on a nearby couch, taking a seat across from him. "Tell me, human... what brings you so far into these woods?"
