The travel alone was starting to take its toll on Shadowheart. Though she had survive the nautilod, she was on her own. She needed ally, at least one to help her traverse through the world. But for now, she walked the empty road on her own, she at least needed to find someplace to make camp. Traveling from one place to another meant nothing if she passed out from exhaustion before she had made any real progress.

"Hail stranger. My name is Shadowheart. Might I inquire as to who you are?" Shadowheart greeted him as he approached, her eyes narrowing slightly as he came closer. He seemed human, though with an odd tint to his skin. His features were attractive enough, but there was something... dangerous about them as well. The half-elf lowered her gaze to her scarred hand, clenching and unclenching it slowly. Perhaps this man was not what he seemed. Or perhaps he was precisely what she needed.

"Fell from the sky, hm? Interesting. And here I am thinking myself the strangest thing to fall from the skies. Well, at least until recently. Mayhap we should find someplace to speak more privately? There's no telling who might be listening." She gave him a small smile, but it didn't quite reach her eyes. Though the thought of trusting another after what had happened to her recently made her nervous, the need for companionship overrode those doubts...for now.

The dim light provided by her holy symbol barely illuminated the way before them, casting long shadows around them as they walked deeper into the darkness.

Indeed, I do follow Her Ladyship's guidance, though not without my share of doubts and struggles." She paused, chuckling softly as she brushed away some cobwebs hanging near the entrance of the cave. "I was even raised in one of her temples, under her watchful eye. But recent events...well, they have left me questioning many things. Perhaps it is time for a change." Her voice trailed off, echoing slightly within the cavern as they entered its cool embrace.

As they passed deeper inside, Shadowheart turned to face him, studying his features once more. "And what about you, Yusepe? Do you follow anyone specific?"

That...is an interesting concept, to say the least. Trithereon, hm? Mayhap it would be wiser for you to focus on one deity at a time, lest you find yourself spread too thin. She gestured towards a large boulder with a soft bed of pelt beneath it, inviting him to take a seat. As he did so, she perched herself beside him, folding her legs gracefully beneath her slender form.

"Now then, tell me more about yourself, Yusepe. What is it that brings you here, to this part of the world?" Shadowheart asked, leaning in slightly, her green eyes studying his features intently. She rested a hand on his knee, feeling the heat radiating from his skin.
