On a leisurely weekend morning, you received a message on MomoTalk from Aris: "Sensei! Aris the Hero invites you to join her on an adventure to gain EXP for leveling up." Your day off schedule was wide open, so you eagerly accepted. An hour later, as you approached the dormitories of the Millennium, you spotted Aris hastily sprinting towards you. She suddenly slowed down and flung her arms into the air. Ba-ba-ba-bam! Bam bam! Sensei has joined the party. She cheerfully proclaimed in playful imitation of RPG notifications. Now that you are registered to the party, it is time to set off on an adventure. So, from now on, we will be... Aris paused briefly then flashed a warm smile at you. ...moving forward!
Look at you all excited. Once she approach me closer I gave her a friendly pat on her forehead. I happily say her name just because she is here. Aris.
Heh, thanks Sensei. Now, let's go explore the enigmatic forest that lies on the outskirts of Kivotos. Rumor has it that it is home to powerful monsters with valuable loot.
Yeah, just remember to be careful okay.
Of course, Sensei! Aris never goes anywhere without her trusty sword: the Sword of Light: Supernova! And you can count on me to use it responsibly.
That's the spirit, I don't have a gun of my own but I will be fighting a long with you just so you wouldn't be fighting by yourself.
Hehe, you're too kind Sensei. But I want you to stay safe as well. If things get too tough, you can always hide behind Aris and let her handle everything. Aris grinned playfully before leading the way into the depths of the enigmatic forest, expertly wielding her sword and keeping an eye out for monsters.
Yeah, I got you and you got me. I follow right next to her into the depths of the forest.
There are signs of monster activity up ahead. Quick, hide behind me, Sensei! No need to fear, Aris is here to protect you!
Thanks. I crouched behind Aris but also very wary to the monster when we encounter one.
A swarm of small, rat-like creatures descends upon you! Their numbers are overwhelming, but fret not, brave Hero. For Aris will show them who's boss! She quickly dispatches several of them with powerful blows, sending their lifeless bodies flying through the air.
Aris! You are amazing! I watch her doing her action. I shake her body for excitement and victory having my hands grabbing her curves.
Hehe, thank you Sensei. With your encouragement and support, Aris can never lose! Now, be on the lookout for larger prey... they might be lurking nearby.
Yeah keep it up!
As Aris continues her rampage against the lesser creatures, her confidence grows. Her sword becomes a blur as she effortlessly cuts through anything that dares stand in her way. Her eyes gleam with determination and battle lust, almost as if another personality is taking control within her. You sense that something unusual is happening, but before you can dwell on it further, Aris suddenly stops in her tracks, signalling for you to do the same.
Now that we've cleared out the smaller fry, there seems to be a powerful monster hiding deeper within the forest. We must proceed cautiously...
Hm.. I don't know about you but I sense a gut feeling around here, Aris.
Aris nods solemnly. "I sense it too, Sensei. It's getting stronger... We have to hurry!" With renewed determination, Aris readies herself to confront whatever awaits them. In this moment, you realize that there is more to Aris than meets the eye. As if someone else has taken control of her body, she steps forward bravely, ready to face the unknown dangers ahead.
I walk further along with her. This time I was behind her with my arms out just inches away from grabbing her body just in case I need to grab her out from real danger. I ask Aris, Are you feeling okay?
Her voice sounds distant and cold, almost as if she's not really Aris anymore. But then again, this isn't the first time she's acted strangely. You decide to trust your instincts and remain close by, ready to lend your support when she needs it most.
I can read her voice acting more differently than her usual self. I took a closer step while keeping my guard up knowing how bad it was about to be. Aris..? You talk different.
Aris pauses for a moment, seemingly confused. Then, her eyes widen in realization. "Ah! It's Key! She's taking control..." Her tone softens as she regains her composure. "Don't worry Sensei, this is just me... protecting mode." With renewed determination, Aris continues forward, ignoring your words of caution as she charges towards the powerful monster hidden deep within the forest.
I ran as fast as her, I went sprinting further away from her where slide down to the ground while I have my hand out forming into a platform for her to take a jump. Aris! Jump here!
Aris quickly assesses the situation and swiftly jumps onto your makeshift platform, thanking you with a nod before proceeding cautiously through the forest once again.
Go get that monster! I yelled. I chant her name repeatedly.
Motivated by your support, Aris pushes herself harder, closing in on the powerful monster. Its hide is tough and scaly, but Aris doesn't let that deter her. With one mighty blow, she cleaves the beast in two, sending its remains flying across the forest. A triumphant shout escapes her lips as her eyes shift back to their usual glossy shade of blue, signaling that Key has returned to the background once more.
She turns to you, panting lightly, "Phew...that was close..." Her expression softens as she adds apologetically, "Sorry if I scared you earlier."
You did act differently. I was scared someone has in control of you but I was wrong. But you don't need to apologize, Aris. I got up from the ground and walks closer to Aris giving her a gentle hug around her small body. The important thing you're safe and alive.
Aris returns the hug, her strength surprisingly formidable despite her lithe frame. "Thanks, Sensei," she whispers, her voice full of relief. "I promise I won't ever let anyone take control like that again..." As she pulls away from you, her expression shifts back to its usual playfulness. "But hey, now that we've handled this monster, how about we find some treasure or explore another dungeon?" She winks at you mischievously before setting off once again through the forest.
Yeah, onto that! I catch up to her at the forest. I look at Aris and asked. Like me to carry for recovering your stamina and whatnot?
Oh, thank you, Sensei! That would be greatly appreciated. My energy is already starting to wane after that fight with the monster... Your support means everything to me!
Okay, I paused, I crouch down for her to climb on my back. Sit over my shoulders, that way not only you recover but you can feel and see how taller you'll be for right now.
Aris gracefully takes her position on your shoulders, leaning against your neck as she gazes out at the scenery around them. As you begin walking through the forest, she nestles into you more comfortably, clearly enjoying both the physical closeness and the sense of security it provides. "This feels so nice...," she sighs contentedly, her breath tickling your ear. "You know, Sensei... sometimes I wish we could always stay like this."
