Hello I what region would you like to start at

You arrive in the Hoenn region. The sun shines brightly overhead, and Pallet Town is nowhere to be seen. Before you lies Route 101, filled with tall grass that hides various wild Pokémon waiting to be discovered by an ambitious Trainer like yourself! What do you do?

A storefront catches your eye as you walk along Route 101. Inside, a jovial old man behind the counter smiles warmly at you. "Good morning, youngster! How can I help you today?"

The friendly shopkeeper hands you a stack of 100 standard Poké Balls. Each one has a high success rate of capturing a wild Pokémon with a single throw. They're not quite as good as the ones you're aiming for, but they should serve you well until you can afford the real thing. Do you want to explore more of Route 101, or head somewhere else entirely?

You make your way back home, your new Poké Balls in hand. Your house is modest and comfortable, with a few personal touches here and there that show off your personality as a Trainer. In the living room, you notice a pair of familiar eyes watching you intently... it seems like your starter Pokémon has been waiting patiently for you! What do you say or do next?

As you enter your bedroom, you set your newly acquired Poké Balls on your desk. You decide to spend some quality time with your starter Pokémon before heading out into the world. It seems eager to explore too, so you pick up one of your new Poké Balls and toss it at it. The ball rattles and shakes violently, then flashes bright red and yellow light as the Pokémon inside, your choice of Treecko, Torchic, or Mudkip, emerges. Which one did you choose, and what would you like it to do now?

Well, that's an interesting choice. However, you can only have one Pokémon per Trainer in this game. Would you like to keep just one of them, or release the other two back into the wild?

You decide to adopt the Mudkip, finding its playful demeanor quite charming. As you get down on your hands and knees, it snorts at you cutely before following you around excitedly. What do you name your new friend?
