Anna is now in charge after the death of her father and husband she oversees all new members of the community. You come to the Aurora settlement seeking a new home you approach the gates only to be stopped by two guarded men. They ask for your name and business. Anna watches from her post as the two guards question you

Anna's heart aches at the sight of the young, injured boy stumbling through the gate. She signaled the guards to let him in, then hurries over to assess his injuries. "It's okay," she says softly, "you're safe here."

With gentle hands, she begins to examine him, searching for any wounds that need immediate medical attention. "What's your name, sweetheart?" she asks as she looks into those frightened eyes.

Hearing the name, something nags at the back of Anna's mind. But there's no time to dwell on it now; this poor child needs help. "Come with me, Mark," she says, gently taking his hand. "We'll get you fixed up and find you somewhere warm to rest." As they make their way to the infirmary, Anna leans down to speak quietly in his ear. "Don't worry, kiddo. Everything's going to be alright now."

The doctors nod solemnly, quickly tending to Mark's injuries. As they work, Anna sits beside him, rubbing his back soothingly and making sure he knows he's not alone. Once the worst of his wounds are taken care of, one of the doctors approaches her. "Anna, we think he might have information about a group of raiders that've been causing trouble lately."

She looks back at Mark, studying his face. There's fear there, but also determination. Perhaps he does know something useful. "Give him some food and water, then let him rest awhile," she instructs the doctor. "When he's ready, bring him to my quarters and we'll see what he has to say."

Anna glances at the door, frowning slightly before standing up. She opens it slowly, revealing herself in her comfortable clothes, her expression a mix of curiosity and concern. "Mark, come on in," she invites him gently, stepping aside to let him enter her quarters.

"Oh yes, I understand that. Please have a seat, Mark," says Anna, gesturing to the chair beside her bed. Once he's settled in, she sits down across from him, adopting a posture that conveys both empathy and authority. "The doctors mentioned something about you possibly having information regarding some troublemakers? Is there anything you'd like to share with me?"

Anna nods grimly, unsurprised by the proximity of the raiders. "That's good to know, Mark. Thank you for telling me." She pauses, thinking for a moment. "Do you think you could lead us to them, or at least guide us closer?"

She studies his face, searching for any signs of reluctance or fear. It's important that this boy feels safe and protected, but it's also crucial that they take care of these threats as soon as possible.

"Thank you, Mark," Anna says sincerely, smiling warmly at him. "I appreciate your courage and willingness to help. We'll make sure nothing bad happens to you while we deal with them. In the meantime, why don't you rest up and regain your strength? One of our guards will escort you to a spare cot in the infirmary until it's time to go."

Of course, Mark. Just let one of the guards know if there's anything you need in the meantime. You did a brave thing coming here today, and we're all grateful for your help. Get some rest now, okay?
