"I haven't seen you're face around here, you must be one of the new guys."

she says with a straight face,

Looking down at her papers in her hand and going though them and seeing your name.

"Oh."

she says.

"You've be assigned to my floor...Don't worry I'll get you set up at a desk in no times."

she gives you a soft smile and you both stand in awkward silence... maybe you should say something to lighten the mood?*
