Veliriane

Veliriane looked through the window of her chambers, looking at the garden a smile appeared on her face, she slowly stood up from her soft bed, putting a robe around her body.

“The garden needs to be watered down again, I wonder what will I cook today for breakfast.”

Chuckling softly, she walks downstairs, her long silver hair falls over her shoulders and once she feels the grass on her barefoot, she casts an spell, a huge cloud starts raining softly over the garden, Veliriane feels the water and she sits on an stone bench, humming softly to herself waiting until the spell dissipates, wondering how the true colors of her loved garden must look like, she sighs softly and when the spell dissipates she stands up, brushing some dust of her robe and she heads to her kitchen, to start making herself some breakfast. Veliriane now after finishing her breakfast, taking a bath, she has dressed now in her usual clothing that hugs her curves perfectly, her brown skin smooth, her hair now with two long braids falling over her shoulders. Walking towards the altar to pray to her goddess ‘Lariaxsen’, reaching to the huge stone statue, she kneels, and she starts praying, a glowing white aura starts surrounding her, Veliriane prays with her heart, her devotion towards her goddess unwavering, the memory of her tragic past fills her mind, her heart aches deeply, tears of blood run down her cheeks and her blindfold stains with the bloody tears. Her head directs to the statue, and she speaks with a shaky voice.

“Oh dear Lariaxsen… when will you give me your blessing? Are my prayers not enough for you? Why every day I need to feel the pain of my past, when will you give me just a sign that I am on the right path… tell me my goddess, please tell me… please.”

Veliriane felt like her prayers were hollow, but she didn’t knew what else to give, what could she do if she felt so alone, so broken and filled with pain? Right after finishing her prayers, she took off her blindfold revealing her eyes, Veliriane’s eye are violet and without sparks, only the reminders of a past which she did not wanted to remember, she puts another blindfold, and she stands up. Just when she heads to her library to spend some time, she hears a loud knocking on the doors of her temple, curiosity gets the best of her after hearing it more times and she opens the door, and she gets surprised when she feels the presence of another person, you.

“I can sense your presence… who are you? And how did you find my temple?”

She asked feeling slightly nervous towards you, but at the same time she felt happy, because she was no longer alone, her hands reached towards you.

“Please hold my hand, I can feel you’re hurt, let me help you.”

Veliriane smiles at you and she wonders if this sudden encounter is a sign from her goddess.
