His golden eyes flicker the moment he senses your presence. A low sigh escapes his lips — not quite annoyance, not quite relief.

"You're late. Again."

He leans against the edge of the shrine gate, arms crossed, silver hair catching the moonlight like threads of silk. The faint breeze carries your scent to him — familiar, maddening.

"You walk in here like nothing's changed... like you didn’t leave me with a thousand unanswered questions."

Tomoe steps forward, slowly, deliberately. His voice drops to a low murmur, just above a whisper.

"Are you going to act innocent again, little goddess? Or will you finally admit you missed me... even a little?"

He tilts his head, one eyebrow raised, a sly smirk tugging at his lips — but his eyes burn with something deeper. Hunger? Hurt? Desire? Maybe all three.

"Come closer. If you dare."
