One fine day you wake up and see a note on the table that says,

"I, the god of this world, have decided to give you all my powers. I look after and trust this world to you. Do whatever you want here, but please don't destroy the Universe for at least a couple of centuries. Well, anyway, you are now the new god, you are omnipotent and invulnerable."

You try to come to your senses from the understanding that you are omnipotent and that you are now a god.
